"Goodbye, Jason." I say into the phone, exasperated.

"No! Jade I ne--" he starts to say but I don't hear it, I hang up.

When will he get the message that I am not going to be with him, that I will never be with him?

He called me three times in the last hour. Finally getting tired of hearing the annoying ringtone I decided to pick up and hear what he had to say. All he wanted to talk about was how I should break up with Blaze and be with him. I repeatedly told him no but he still wouldn't give up.

Clicking out of the phone app I smile, seeing my background. It is a picture of Blaze and I at the amusement park.

Some old lady walked by us, telling us that we reminded her of her and her high school sweetheart. She asked if we wanted a picture. I said sure and handed her my phone. She took two pictures, which I cherish. In the first picture, Blaze has his arm around me, his face buried into my neck whispering something while my chin is tilted up, laughing at his words. The next one is of us looking right into eachothers eyes, just about to kiss. Blaze holds my torso as I lean my head back, smiling at him. It's my favorite picture of us, hence, why it is my background.

A knock at the door brings me out of my haze. Running my hands through my hair, I walk up the stairs to answer it.

"Blaze!" I exclaim when I open the door and see him standing there.

"I brought someone for you," he tells me.

Oh! Today he was going to bring Lacey for me! How could I forget?

"Again, thank you!"

Blaze laughs, "I told you that you don't have to thank me."

"Well I want to." I tell him, pecking his lips quickly and walking past him to the car.

"Here, let me get her out for you." Blaze offers, coming up behind me and opening the door. He reaches inside the car and opens the crate which she had been in. I gush as Blaze takes Lacey out of the car and places her in my arms.

Lacey looks up to me with her heart warming chocolate coloured eyes. She has a confused face at first but immediately proceeds to lick my face after a few good head scratches from me.

"Wow," I hear Blaze breathe out from beside me.

I smirk as I look at him, "what?"

"She has never been like that with anyone. Ever. I can't tell you the number of times people have come to the store to try and hold her. She won't let anyone, usually. So this is quite interesting."

I just smile back at him, not knowing exactly what to say.

"Do you want to come in?" I ask eventually.

Blaze smiles, "I'd love to."

"Want a drink?" I ask Blaze as we wander into my house.

"Yeah, just a water please."

After tossing him a bottle of water I join Blaze on the couch. He is watching Lacey and she is walking slowly around my house, her soft paws barely even audible on the hard floors.

"Do you think she will pee on the ground?" I ask.

"No, I don't think so. All the pups were trained to go outside since birth. She was always one to pick up things the fastest though."

"Well my mom told me that she has to sleep in my room. Only problem is that the flooring is carpet, not hardwood."

Blaze thinks about this, "I don't think that should be a problem. My best advice is to keep her up here for a few days just to make sure she won't pee up here and then bring her down to your room. Of course you should bring her down periodically throughout the day to get her introduced to that room, though. But to sleep, I would say up here. Just for a day or two."

"Okay," I smile, "should we bring her down now?"

"Yeah if you want."

"Okay," I respond, getting off the couch and pulling Blaze along with me. I scoop up Lacey in my arms, who has resorted to just staring at us, loosing complete interest in the house.

We make our way down to my bedroom and I carefully set Lacey down. She begins to sniff at the floor before rolling around happily on it. I laugh in amusement. Blaze sure was right when he said she was quite the different dog.

I turn to watch Blaze, who has a similiar face as my own.

"Thank you." I say genuinely.

He turns to me, his gentle eyes meeting mine, "you're welcome."

Blaze leans in to me and I accept his kiss, pulling him close to me as my arms go around his neck. Blaze's hands find my waist as they pull me to him.

We descend slowly onto the bed, both beside eachother staring lovingly into the others eyes.

Blaze brushes his head slowly across my face, moving my hair out of my face.

"You really are beautiful Jade," he tells me.

I blush, lowering my eyes the slightest bit, "thank you."

"You make it really hard for me to not fall for you, you know that?"

My eyes dart back to his, "you make it hard for me too."

Blaze smirks, "I try."

"You're unbelievable," I say and pull his lips to mine, capturing them in a rough kiss. Blaze slowly turns into his elbow, hovering over me. He trails light kisses down my neck and chest, then back up to my lips again, kissing them passionately. His kisses are literately making me breathless, leaving me panting but wanting more.  My hands slowly go to the hem of Blaze's shirt and start to lift it up slowly. Blaze locks his passionate gaze onto my own before kissing me again.

I hear a crash sound and instantly break mine and Blaze's connection, shooting up from the bed. I look around and see that Lacey has just knocked over a candle from my dresser.

I laugh and get up to clean the glass from the floor. Blaze comes and helps me but I can see the dejection written all over his face. I laugh a little and he smirks at me.

After all the glass has been cleaned and Blaze and I have said our goodbyes, I flop back onto my bed, wishing for Blaze to be back so I could just see his face again.

I find myself wondering how I fell for him so quickly. I find myself asking what will happen when he finds out about the real reason we started dating. I find myself wondering if this was all a mistake.

Wattpad deleted all of my stuff and I had to rewrite everything.
