~~~~~~~~~Your POV~~~~~~~~~
It had been a few days since the whole situation with Gideon happened. Mabel and Dipper were already settled back in their home, and I couldn't be happier about it!
To celebrate, Stan had made the reopening of the shack a grand event, and there was a party that same night. And even better, Stan doesn't want us to work, so we do actually get to enjoy it this time!
"Welcome to the grand reopening of the Mystery Shack!!!" Stan said with a big smile, standing on a small stage with the twins as the people cheered.
"We're here to celebrate the defeat of that skunk, Little Gideon!" Everyone booed at the mention of his name, to which Stan raised his arms. "Please, please. Boo harder!!!"
He laughed as they did as told, then looked down at his niece and nephew. "But I didn't catch that porkchop all alone, these three scamps deserve some of the glory."
Mabel punched his gut with a glare, making him chuckle. "Okay okay, most of the glory."
Toby walked to the front. "Smile for the camera!"
"Your camera's a cinderblock, Toby."
"I just want to be a part of things..."
Shandra Jimenez then stood beside him. "Smile for a real camera."
Stan wrapped his arms around them, Mabel speaking. "Everyone say something stupid!"
"Something stupid!!!" They yelled as they each did strange poses, letting the camera man take their picture.
Stan smiles. "And don't forget to come to the after party tonight at eight!"
"We're doing a karaoke bonanza, people!!! Lights, music, enchantment!!!" Mabel blew some confetti. "And an amazing karaoke performance by our family band: Love Patrol Alpha!!!"
Dipper backed away. "Uh, I dunno.."
"I never agreed to that, ever." Stan said.
Mabel only smiled. "Too late!!! I wrote your names on the list, it's happening!!!"
I snickered before taking an airhorn from under the counter, honking it loudly. "Buy a ticket, people!!! You know you don't have anything else going on in your lives!!!"
They all walked outside to buy a ticket, Leo and I walking over to them. "The town loves us, we finally got that Gideon smell out of the carpet, everything is finally going my way!"
Dipper nervously rubbed his arm before looking up at him. "Hey, Grunkle Stan, now that we have a moment, I've been meaning to ask you for my journal back."
"Wha? Journal? Oh, haha!" He took out the journal from under the counter. "You mean this old thing! It was so boring I couldn't even finish it!"
He handed the journal back over, Dipper looking at him a bit in surprise. "Wait, you're just gonna give it to me? Just like that?"
"What else do you want, a kiss on the cheek?"
"I... I gotta go!"
He nodded for us to follow him as he ran up the starts, Mabel, Leo, and I going upstairs a bit confused.
Once inside, he locked the door, turned all of Mabel's plush toys to look away, and turned on a lantern. "Guys, we've gotta talk. Almost loosing my journal made me realize that I'm halfway through the summer and still no closer to figuring out the big mysteries of Gravity Falls. Gideon almost destroyed the town to get his hands on this journal, but why?"
He began to pace around. "Who wrote it? Where are all the other journals? What was Bill talking about when he said 'everything was going to change'?"
I noticed Leo shoot me a worried glance, but I simply ignored it.
"There's something huge going on right under our noses, and it's time we stop goofing around and get to the bottom of it."
"Bro, you've looked at that things like a bazillion times, there's nothing left to discover!"
"Yeah, and half the pages are blank, remember?" I added to Mabel's sentence.
He let out a sigh. "I just feel like I'm one puzzle piece away from discovering everything."
"You still have a lot of summer left though, dude." Leo said, to which Mabel smiled.
"Yeah, don't worry, Dipper! Lord Mystery Ham is on the case!" She picked up Waddles who wore a detective hat. "I play by me own rules, what what!"
Dipper stared at her for a few seconds. "... I don't know why I tell you things."
That's when we all looked around at some strange noises, heading downstairs in confusion.
Soos was looking out the window. "Hey, Mr. Pines, what's the code word I'm suppose to yell when I see a government vehicle?"
"Wait, what? Government vehicle?" He walked over, his eyes widening before going to the speaker. "The Mystery Shack is now closed!!! Everybody out!!! I will not hesitate to use the hose on the elderly!!!"
"What the heck, Stan, you never shut down the shop!" I said in surprise.
He ignored me, fixing his tie before opening the door to two men. "Welcome to the Mystery Shack, gentleman!!! What can I get you?!? Keychains? Snow globes? These rare photos of American presidents?" He pulled out a dollar from his sleeve.
Both man had serious expressions, the older one speaking. "My name is agent Power, this is agent Trigger. We're here to investigate reports of mysterious activity in this town."
"Activity." The other man repeated.
"Mysterious activity?!? In the Mystery Shack?!? You gotta be joking!!!"
"I assure you, I am not. I was born with a rare disorder that makes me physically incapable of experiencing humor."
Stan let out an awkward laugh, the man raising his eyebrow. "I don't understand that sound you're making with your mouth, now if you'll excuse us we're conducting an investigation."
"Investigation." Trigger followed his partner inside the shack.
Dipper's eyes lit up as he ran over to them. "Wait wait, did you guys say you're investigating the mysteries of this town?!?"
"That information is classified." Power leaned down to his eye level. "But yes. Look, between you and me, I believe there's a conspiracy of paranormal origin all connected to this town. We're just one small lead away from blowing the lid off this entire mystery."
"Are you kidding me?!? I'm investigating the exact same thing!!! I found this journal in the woods which has almost all the answers!!! If we work together, we could crack the case!!!"
He glanced back at Trigger, then pulled out a business card from his jacket, handing it to Dipper. "If you have evidence of these claims, we should talk."
There was a wide smile on his face. "We can talk right now!!! Please please, come in!!! I have so much to show you!!!"
Stan stood in front of him, letting out a laugh. "I'm sorry, agents, kid has an overactive imagination, and like sweating problems."
"Haha, zing!!!" Mabel exclaimed from behind the counter.
"Paranormal town stuff is just part of gift shop lore! Sells more tickets, you know?"
Soos placed stickers and headbands on the two men. "Boop boo- doop boop boop! Swag!"
Power had no reaction. "We have other spots to investigate, we'll be on our way."
He took a few of the Stan evidence before following. "I'm confiscating this for evidence."
"Smart move."
They began to walk out, Dipper running after them. "Wait!!! No, wait, we have so much to talk about!!!"
"Hold it, kiddo." Stan pulled him back over. "Trust me, the last thing you want around during a party is the cops." He took the business card away from him.  "I'm confiscating that card. Now how's about you go be a normal kid, flirt with a girl or steal a pie of a windowsill."
"But Grunkle Stan, you don't understand!!!"
"And don't go talking to those agents!!" With that, he left.
Dipper let out a groan. "Ugh, that could've been my big break..."
"Bro, maybe Grunkle Stan is right! We're throwing a party tonight! Can't you go one night without searching for aliens or raising the dead or whatever?" Mabel asked.
"I'm not gonna raise the dead, I just need a chance to show those agents my book."
"Pinetree, maybe this is a good thing." (y/n) started. "I mean, if they found out Leo and I weren't fully humans, we could be taken away for experiments, or to be dissected or something."
She did have a good point..
Mabel placed a hand on my shoulder. "Trust me, Dipper, the only book you'll need is tonight is right here!" She pulled out a book of karaoke songs, all three of us staring at her in silence. "Ah, c'mon! I say kara-, you say -oke!!! Kara-!!! Kara-!!! Kara-!!! ... I could do this all day!"
We soon went back home to get ready for the party. Leo basically only put on a leather jacket above his shirt, but I wanted to go for something a little different.
For this outfit, I went for more of a pinkish tone, and gave her a dress. Now, I'm not exactly the biggest fan of pink and dresses, but I do like how it looks on my character!
As always, you can change it however you want, or just wear whatever you want. UwU
It didn't take us long to go back to the shack. Leo was already at the snack bar, while I went to Dipper. "Hey Pinetree."
He looked over at me, his eyes widening a bit as his cheeks grew pink. "O-oh, hey!"
"Whatcha doing?"
"Uh- Stan wanted me to put these posters on the wall."
I picked up one of the posters. "Ooh, glow in the dark? Cool!" I pasted the posted in the wall before grabbing one of the black lights, turning it on as I laughed. "Check it out, these black lights make my teeth look scary. It's like a crime scene in my mouth!"
Dipper simply stared at the ground, my face falling a bit. "Hey, you okay..?"
"It's not fair... Finally I meet someone who can help me solve the mysteries of this town, and Stan confiscates their card!"
I thought for a moment, then let out a sigh. "I probably shouldn't be telling you this, but I'm pretty sure Stan hides everything in his room. I can take you there if you promise to keep Leo and I a secret."
"If I get into Stan's room I could get in so much trouble.."
"Yeah, you're probably right." I gently punched his arm. "That's what makes it fun, dude!"
He smiled at me, and we sneaked back into the shack and Stan's bedroom. It took us a bit, but we were able to find the card, walking over and calling them.
"Agent Powers."
"Hi, this is Dipper, th-the kid from the Mystery Shack? The one with the um... sweating problems?" He glared at me when I snickered. "I have that journal I wanted to show you!"
"And you're certain this 'journal' will help our case?"
"I'm a hundred percent positive!"
"Very well. We're on our way."
A smile grew on Dipper's face, but we were both startled when Stan hung up the phone for us, the two of us looking up at him startled.
He let out a heavy sigh, gripping the bridge of his nose. "Kid, why did you call those agents? Told you one time I've told you a hundred times, there's nothing 'supernatural' going on in Gravity Falls!"
"Yes, there is!!! After everything that's happened you have to know that by now!!!"
"All I know is that you're dumb obsession is gonna get us all in trouble one of these days!!! Now go enjoy the rest of the party, cuz when it's over, you're grounded!" He pushed us out of the room, leaving us out on the hall as we let out a sigh.
Dipper was already making his way downstairs, and I had to run over to catch up. "Where are you going?"
"To see the agents."
I stayed quiet for a bit, letting out a sigh. "You're really not gonna let this go, huh..?"
"Nope."
"Alright, but you'll be going on your own, I don't want them to get suspicious of me."
He nodded at me, then ran off into the forest. I walked to the front of the shack where many people had already gathered around.
Mabel was near the stage with Leo and her two best friends, who were already drooling over him.
I guess for the time being, I really didn't have much to do. Damn, I wore this dress for nothing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After chatting with Mabel for a little bit with the sheriff and his deputy singing some weird song, she walked onto the stage with a wide smile. "What do you say, guys?!? When I say Mabel, you say fun!!!"

My eyes widened when the ground suddenly began to shake with a lot of force.

"Mabel!!!"

A woman screamed in pure fear.

"Mabel!!!"

"We're all gonna die!!!" yelled another man.

Mabel tilted her head in question. "Why does that never work?"

"Woah, I think it's an earthquake!!" Wendy blew the airhorn she had. "Hey everyone, we gotta get out of here!!!"

I grabbed Mabel's hand, pulling her off the stage as we heard Candy scream. "We are all doomed!!!"

"Quick, into my getaway pouch!!!" Candy jumped into Grenda's back pack, who began to ran away as she yelled. "Mabel, escape while you still can!!!"

"Wait, no, don't leave!!! You haven't even done our family karaoke song yet!!!" She stared at where everyone had left at with a defeated expression.

Leo ran over to us. "You guys okay..?"

"Yeah, just startled, no worries."

That's when I noticed his eyes widen in fear, making me raise an eyebrow before Mabel and I turned to see whatever had frightened him, seeing- ...

Zombies?!?

"What the hell?!?"

Mabel immediately glared at Dipper as he stopped to catch his breath. "Dipper, what's the one thing I asked you not to do tonight?!?"

"Raise the dead..."

"And what did you do?!?"

"Raise the dead..."

I turned to Leo. "Alright, you've seen The Walking Dead more times than you've spoken in your life, what do we do?!"

"These could be really different from the show, but going by that knowledge, you always go for the head!"

"That's what we're doing then!" I formed to (f/c) orbs, one in each hand. "Everyone try to get inside the shack!!"

The four of us were able to run passed all the zombies, running inside and trying to barricade the door with everything we could find. However, I felt Dipper grab my arm and pull me away from the window just as some zombies broke through its glass, including Soos!

"Give it up, dudes, fighting only makes us look more rad~!!"

Mabel hugged Leo's arm. "What do we do?!? Where's Grunkle Stan?!?"

"How's he suppose to help?!? He doesn't even believe in the supernatural!!!"

"Hey dudes! By the way, I taught the zombies how to get into the fuse box! Among these dudes, I'm like a genius!" Soos chuckled as the lights went off. "Get those brains, dawg!!!"

"Pinetree, isn't there something in the journal about defeating zombies?!?" I asked as I tried to push and destroy as many zombies as I could.

He was desperately looking through the journal. "No, there's nothing in here about weaknesses!!!"

More zombies bursted through another window, Leo doing his best to block them off as Dipper ranted. "This can't be happening, I wanted answers so bad I put everyone in danger!!! Now we're toast, it's all my fault, and no one can save us!!!"

A zombie then grabbed him by his shirt's collar. "No, no ah!!! Guys, I'm sorry!!!"

"DIPPER!!!"

"AHHH!!!"

Something then hit the zombie with a bat, making it loosen his grip on Dipper who fell down, then stomp on the zombie's head. "You four, attic, now!!!"

"Grunkle Stan?!?"

"I said NOW!!!"

We ran upstairs as fast as we could, closing the door only for someone to try and open it from the outside. Lucky for us, it was Stan coughing. "Oh, wow, everything hurts."

Dipper ran over to him. "Grunkle Stan, that was amazing!!! Are you alright?!? Hehe, well at least you can't deny magic exists anymore, right...?"

"... kid, I've always known."

"Wait, what are you talking about..?!"

"I'm not an idiot, Dipper, of course this town is weird!!!" He pointed at Leo and I. "I know those two have some weird powers, and I know that the guy has wings!!!"

Both of us shrunk in place, Stan looking back at Dipper. "And the one thing I know about that weirdness is that it's dangerous!!!"

We backed away with screams as zombies broke through the door. "I've been lying about it to try and keep you away from it!!! To try to protect you from it!!!" Stan punched the zombie that popped its head through the window. "Looks like I didn't lie well enough.."

Mabel gripped Leo's sleeve, looking around in panic. "What do we do, what do we do?!?"

"Normally the journal would help us but there's nothing in there about defeating zombies!!! It's hopeless!!!"

I looked around, soon spotting strange new words in the journal, my eyes widening. "PT, look!!! The text!!! It's glowing in the black light!!!"

"What?!?" He placed it on the floor so you could all see as he flipped through the pages. "All this time I thought I knew all the journal's secrets, but they're written in some sort of invisible ink!!!"

He searched for a bit more, soon smiling. "This is it!!! 'Zombies have a weakness! Previously thought to be invincible, their skulls can be shattered by a perfect four-part harmony!' Three-part harmony? How can we create that? I have a naturally high-pitched scream."

"I can make noises with my body, sometimes intentionally." Stan added.

"Guys, guys, I think you're all missing the obvious solution." A grin grew on Mabel's face.

She leads us to the roof with the karaoke machine, Leo and I sitting at the very top of the rough, saved from the embarrassment.

"Hello, hello, is this thing on?" Mabel tapped the microphone. "Zombies and gentlemen, I am Mabel, they're Dipper and Stan, and together we're Love Patrol Alpha!!!"

"I never agreed to that name!!!" Dipper complained.

I had my camera ready.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Thank you, we'll be here all night!!!" Mabel smiles brightly.
"Deal with it, zombie idiots!!!"
They all hugged, and I had the whole thing recorded. Oh, lovely blackmail.
We then went downstairs, the whole place was a massive mess which of course we had to clean now. Dipper walked over to us, letting out a sigh. "I'm sorry about this, guys, I totally ruined everything..."
Mabel smiled. "Dipper, are you kidding me?!? I got to sing karaoke with two of my four favorite people in the world!!! No party could ever top that!!!"
"Besides, now we can say we survived a zombie outbreak! That's one thing checked out of my bucket list!"
Dipper turned to me. "That's a weird bucket list."
"Look who's talking." We both laughed.
Stan then walked over to us. "... Kids, listen, this town is crazy, so you need to be careful. I don't know what I'd do with myself if you got hurt on my watch. I'll let you hold on to that spooky journal, and I'll keep your friends' secrets, as long as you promise me you'll only use it for self-defense and not go looking for trouble."
"Okay, as long as you promise me that you don't have any other bombshell secrets about this town." Dipper replied.
"Promise."
"Promise."
I could see Dipper crossing his fingers, knowing he was lying.
Stan then let out a sigh. "Man, we have done a lot of zombie damage to clean up. Where's my handy man anyways?"
Zombie Soos soon came stumbling over. "Brains... Brains..."
"Holy Moses!!!" Stan immediately grabbed a chair, about to hit the zombie.
Dipper was already searching his journal. "Wait! There's a page in here about curing zombification! It's gonna take a lot of formaldehyde."
"And cinnamon." Leo read as he peeked over.
I looked over. "C'mon, Soos, let's fix you up."
Mabel began pushing him over to the kitchen with a chair as he continued to groan. "Brains..... brains.....!"
"Soos, cut it out!"
"Sorry, dude."
Dipper smiled at himself. "I can't believe it...!!! All this time the author's secrets were hiding in plain sight...!!! A whole new chapter of mysteries to explore...!!!"
Let's see what this chapter contains then, shall we?
Thanks for reading!!! 'Till next time!!!
❤️❤️❤️
