I tilted my head up just enough to see Chris standing there with a tray in his hands. "Nothing." I said putting my head. back down.

"You sure?" He said with concern in his voice.

"Yeah I'm sure." I said back.

"Well ok as long as your ok. (Cough) Can I sit with you?" He said.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head yes.

I heard him pull out his chair and set his tray down. We sat in silence for a couple of minutes then he spoke. "Are you ok?" He said.

"I'm fine." I said trying to hold back the tears.

He put his arm around my shoulder and instantly flinched at the pain. "OUCH!" I yelled.

"Oh my god. I'm sooo sorry. Are you ok?" He said.

"I'm fine." I said,  accidentally lifting my head enough for him to see my face ......and my black eye.

He stood up and looked at me. I realized I had shown him my face and quickly put him head down. I heard him huff. "Who did this to you?" He growled.

"I. I fell." I lied.

"Don't lie to me Ali." He said growling once more.

"I fell in the bathroom and hit my eye on the sink." I said lifting my head up.

He put his head in his hand and shook it. "Ali I know when your lying and that's what your doing right now. So tell me. Who did this to you?" He said looking up at me and giving me the death stare.

I don't like Johnny but, Chris will kill him. I know he will. Especially after what he's already done to me today. But I have to tell him or he will make me. I sighed. "I will tell you but you can't go off on him ok." I said.

"It was a him. As in.. a guy?" He said raising an eyebrow at me.

"Yes." I answered.

"Ok go on." He said looking very, very angry.

"It was(sigh) Joh.."  and before I could finish his name,  Chris was storming down the stairs. "CHRIS! CHRIS STOP!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs after him. He ignored me. He was pissed. As he ran down the stairs, he pushed everyone out of his way. One person almost fell over railing but I caught her. "I'm so sorry ma'am. Please forgive him." I said running away before she could say something.

I ran outside to where I saw Chris run. He stood tall with Johnny looking short and pale in front of him. "Give me one good god damn reason I shouldn't rip you to shreds." Chris snarled.

Johnny sat there, silent. "I didn't think so." Chris said grabbing Johnny by the throat and holding him in the air.

"CHRIS STOP!" Kali and Lucy yelled from beside me.

Chris whipped his head towards them. "SHUT UP! THIS DOSENT, CONCERN YOU TWO!" He yelled turning his head back and clenching Johnny's throat harder

"CHRIS STOP!" I paused. "Please."

He turned towards me. I looked him in the eyes trying to show him that I was ok, he needed to stop, and this was unnecessary and dangerous.

He looked at me, sighed, and let go. Johnny hit the ground like a sack of bricks, blood slowly dripping from the little gashes Chris had left on his neck. Chris stood over him. "You ever touch her, talk to her, or even look at her again. I won't let go and you will slowly bleed to death. And I won't feel bad about it." Chris said walking towards me. His eyes a bright red.

As he walked to me, I backed up. "Ali. It's ok I won't hurt you." He said reaching for me.

"No." I said pulling away.

"Ali I'm not a monster. PLEASE! I won't hurt you." He said looking hurt.

I was afraid. Afraid of what he might do. Not that he would hurt me. I know he won't but, one wrong move and I could be his next victim.
