"Leave me alone Nash, I'm not in the mood" I grab my stuff and walk outside to sit on the field.

I drop my bag and books on the grass and start to work on my Trigonometry assignment. Nash just keeps following me, he takes his things too and comes and sits next to me.

It is our free period for the senior students and I was using it to study on the field. Nash found where I was and started to follow. It was about mid-day, just right after recess.

"Can we talk?" He asks while bringing out his English assignment.

"What do you want to talk about?" Knowing Nash, he'll want to talk about something but he wouldn't know how to approach the subject.

He gets tense and shuffles around the grass "Um t-the k-kiss"

"What about it?" I'm honestly pretty much fed up with why Nash won't tell me why he kissed me. Just tell me I can handle it, I handled my parents hating each other.

He looked like he wanted to tell me the reason but he couldn't.

"Nash if you don't tell me within a minute, I'm leaving" I start to gather my things.

I wait for him to say something but he just sat there with a blank face.

"That's it Nash I'm leaving" I get up and grab my bag.

I was starting to walk away when Nash grabbed my arm and spun me around. We were standing so close, our bodies up against each other.

"I kissed you because I love you" he started to say "I love everything about you. Your smile, the cute way you flip your hair, the annoying way you sing. The way you always want to eat healthy to loose weight even when you've got a killer figure. I love the way you kiss my cheek when you're annoyed at me. And the way you get mad easily. I just love you so much. And I've never been able to tell you, that's why I kissed you" I looked up at his green eyes and it looked like he was about to cry. I don't know what to say, if he loved me so much why is Kira his girlfriend.

I wrap my arms around his neck and lay my head on his chest "What about Kira, why were you dating her?"

He starts to laugh, I look up at him with a confused face. "Kira isn't actually my girlfriend, you're going to hate me after this but she got her dad to pay me to be her boyfriend"

"Really?" We still stand there so close "I love you too" I don't know where our relationship stands now but I don't want things to change.

Math Class:

"So it's official?" Chelsea asked "You guys are dating?"

I shuffled in my seat nervously "He didn't ask me out. He just told me a lot of reasons why he loved me and that's why he kissed me" Chelsea looked confused.

"What about Kira?" She asks.

"They weren't really dating, fake relationship" that was all the information I wanted to give Chelsea about the Kira case.

"Do you know what I think is really weird" I say "We say 'I love you' to each other all the time. Maybe he meant it this time"

"So like love love now?" Chelsea and I get out our maths textbook when the teacher walks in "Where's Mason isn't he usually in our maths class?"

"Oh yeah" I scan around the classroom and there's no sign of Mason. He's always early to class. This is too weird for him. Mason is a study bug.

I don't really pay attention to Math class but this time I felt like I needed to. I start to take down in my note book  thinking of what would happen if me and my friends don't go to the same college.

I sigh at the thought.

"Can class F145 come down to the football field" a voice through the loudspeakers announce "I repeat class F145"

That's our class.

I get out of my chair and gather my books in my book bag. I hand the bag over my shoulder and start to walk out with the rest of the class.

We got to the football field and it was covered in flowers. From roses, sunflowers, tulips. You name it, they were there.

In a few second that the class was standing there, a marching band came out with a silhouette of cheerleaders. The started a routine of flipping and kicking and pyramids, dancing to the music. Then a few MVP jocks came out, which included Mason and Nash. Except Masons vest was red while the others were blue.

The football team of MVP's started passing a ball round until they got it to Mason. Mason walked up to Lily who was in my maths class. He handed her  the red football and he said to Lily "Will you be my girlfriend?"

You'll never guess what Lily did then. She burst out crying and shouted yes. Right then and there in front of everyone Mason picked her up, spun her around and kissed her. Everyone cheered and clapped. It was quite interesting to watch. That was really nice of Mason, he looked so happy with a big grin on his face.

"YOU FINALLY DID IT MASON!" I shouted to him and continued clapping.

"THANKS FOR ENCOURAGEMENT KATE!" He shouted back.

Everyone headed back to class and Lily walked up with our class. While the jocks, cheerleaders and band members got changed.

"Hey Lily, you're really lucky to have Mason" I told her as we were heading up.

She was still smiling from the previous performance. "Thanks, how did he know I liked him?"

"A little birdie once told him" I wink at her.

Lily starts jumping around as we walk into the building "Oh my, thank you so much Kate, I owe you so much"she hugs me tight.

"Nah, it's all good" I hug her back.

People start to crowd her so I get ahead and walk into the classroom. Chelsea is already sitting there crossed legged. I take my seat next to her.

"That was unexpected" she laughs "who knew that Mason was a big softie"

"I know right" the rest of the class floods in and we continue the lesson.

A few minutes later, Mason comes in smiling and takes a seat next to this new girlfriend. They were holding hands under the desk and they both kept smiling. They are so cute.

I cut a piece of paper from my note book and write to Mason.

Me: How's life bro? ;)

I fold the piece of paper and throw it over to his desk. With his free hand, he unfolds it and smiles. He then writes back to me and throws it back.

Mason: I owe you so much!

Me: Just doing my job.

Mason: What about you and Nash?, he told me what happened:)

Me: Well he didn't ask me out so...

Mason: I can talk to him for you.

Me: Nah, it's okay. Thanks anyways.

Mason: :)

Me: Treat Lily well.

Mason: I will.

I tuck the note inside my book bag and continue to focus on the class. I'm glad we got things sorted out today.
