Backstory: You'd have to be more closer to her to know her story but let's just say her parents aren't found of each other and the father drinks a lot. When she goes into Shujin academy she becomes friends with Makoto which kind of drives her away from the other girls.
Kind of lazy to have to remember her backstory so I'll just put it here right now. Family wise backstory her mom and dad were poor when they got together, they didn't have no money to have a proper house so Misaki decided to become a "orange and black" star if you know what I mean. She got the money and provided for the family but when doing that it made Ichiro very mad so he started drinking out of anger, this caused the whole family to shift to a darker side as her mother became more dark as well and started to do her job as "fun". Tsumi would every now and then get hit by a glass beer bottle every time she would enter the house. Her mother also doesn't support how Tsumi's a lesbian and always tries to get Tsumi to join her job but she isn't bothered by this because she has her friends.
