If you're a Wings of Fire fan you may be thinking of the author, Tui T.Sutherland, but to me most of the time tui are beautiful native birds with a white feather tuft on their chin, iridescent feathers, and brilliant singing voices I am beginning to hear in my town community as well as the bush (forest). I chose to paint the tui out of several different New Zealand birds I could paint. This isn't on a canvas, but instead on painting paper, which has a similar texture to canvas and just as good to paint on. Tui are very important birds to me. I think my Patronus might be a tui, one reason for that is their singing, which I am good at too.
