This is an old drawing, and the next few ones are going to be too. One night a long time ago, I discovered on the internet a character named Fin-Fin, a bird/dolphin hybrid, and I was overjoyed at the sheer awesomeness of this combination! Of course I decided I must draw him. On the back of the drawing, I wrote a description, which I have put here.
Fin-Fin is a bird-dolphin hybrid from the 1995 computer game 'Fin-Fin on Teo the Magic Planet'. The game itself is now very rare and so are websites about it. I think the best internet Fin-Fin resources are www.alassea.net/finfin/index.php?infofin, and finfinfanclub.deviantart.com. In the game, Fin-Fin has a body the shape of a bird's,two legs with talons, and two large flippers on his back which are like wings. Somehow, Fin-Fin uses these big flippers to fly. He has much more dolphin-like features- rubbery skin with no feathers, a tail ideal for swimming, a snout full of tiny snout, and a blowhole. I have drawn my own avian design of Fin-Fin. His wings are still enormous flippers, but are now covered in flight feathers. He also has feathers on his back and a single feather protruding from the base of his snout. His snout has no teeth and I changed his body shape to that of a sleek blackbird instead of a chubby sparrow.
I actually have never played 'Fin-Fin on Teo the Magic Planet' but my excitement about him was temporary and I am no longer keen to play the game, I still love this drawing though!
