So, WingedKitten345 created a character named Dusk that I absolutely fell in love with. So I took the idea and ran with it. Then this happened:

Dawn. And I'm pretty sure you can detect the thing about my character and Kit's character's names. (Hey I had to!)

So anyways, after a long stretch of doodles and sketches and random design changes, Dawn took the form you see now. And then of course I loved her too much to make her on her own, soooo......

Say hello to my new original species, the Nixits.

Nixits get to a max size of about as big as an adult cat. They can be any natural color, and live in multiple climates. They can walk on all fours or stand upright. They are extremely intelligent, but can't communicate with humans.

All Nixits share an uncontrollable obsession with shiny objects, and will often lose focus if they see a slight glint. Males have antlers, and will often hangs shiny things on them in mating season to attract the attention of females.

Nixits are very agile and can jump five to six feet straight up, or ten feet in a stretch. Their tails are extremely prehensile. Their teeth are like that of a fox or cat, and they are omnivores. They have a prehensile dewclaw or thumb, making it possible for them to hold and Carry things.

Nixits are extremely curious and males tend to be mischievous, causing all sorts of trouble.

I might give my Harry Potter avatar, Abigail, a pet Nixits :)

Nixits are a closed species for now, because I can't decide wether to make them open or semi-open.

I'd actually like some input on that...
