Realistic art is hard. Especially if you draw cartoons for most of your life. But I'm trying to do my best at it. After all it's something I need to know for art class. Well since I'm trying why not show you some! I got three art pieces so far I want to show you.

1.

This is Terry! Terry the gay cyclops! I made him when we were learning proportions and faces in general. At that time we were making human faces, but I wanted to challenge myself so I gave him one eye (you had no idea how hard the eyebrows were). Once he was almost done he looked feminine to me, so I gave him a small flower crown/headband , and well here he is! I love him! He's probably gonna be an original character!

2.

We had to practise realistic drawing for a different class so I popped out my phone and found references. If you could figure out who this girl is they by all means go ahead! Good luck on that!
She's alright, But her head looks out of place and not proportioned. Not to mention the eyes kinda haunt me. Eh. I tried.

3.

I bet you can guess who this is. I thought I would try to draw without reference and draw Ella! Of course I needed head options so I looked of head shapes and I think this is round? Either way I'm glad this turned out well! The mouth could be better though, and the head looks lopsided. Still I'm happy with it.
