Hey, you can't fault me. I never said that this couple was going to kiss or hug (though since this is a scene from Thunder Sky Rising I can say that they do kiss right after this panel takes place).

It's really hard for me to draw people from far away, but I think I did decent with the man (who I will call X until you read Thunder Sky Rising and report back with your theories on the man's name). My only issue is that he's supposed to be sad, but he just looks annoyed. It's all in those dang eyebrows. :X

Lastly, how do you like this format? I won't upload many panels because they take me a REALLY long time to draw, but when I do, they'll be uploaded from the stick figures (picture 1) to the interesting concoction that it became (picture 5).
