(A/N: hey guys! I know I just introduced Rory to you guys so I figured I could write a one-shot so you could get to know him more! This will just feature his daily life and his adventures in and out of school! Hope you guys enjoy this!)

Hello! I'm Rory Jones. I'm a average 15 year old boy who goes to high school and such, so there isn't much special about me. I have the same schedule everyday. Wake up, go to school, get home from school, and then explore.

Exploring is awesome. Especially when you can memorize everywhere you go like I can. I wouldn't say it's a superpower or anything, but I find it pretty rad. I sort of have a photographic memory, but this is more of a map memory..? Sure we can go with that.

Get ready for a day in the life of Rory!

~~~~~~~~~~~~Morning~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

"Uuuuggggghhhhh...." I groan, being only about 10% awake. I flip my arm over and shut off my alarm. I turn over on my other side so I can get out of bed and fall onto the ground.

"AGH!" I yelp. "I cannot function right now!" I yell.

Ignoring the fact that I just fell out bed and yelled about everything i get up and get ready for school. I put on put on my black sweatshirt (I already had my clothes for the day on), and some socks on.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and fixed my hair a little while I was there. I really just fluffed it up a little with my hand and thought it was fine. I brushed my teeth and waited for the bus to come.

~~~~~~~~~~~After School~~~~~~~~~~~

I got off the bus and texted three of my closest friends. Casey, Phoenix, and Aria. We all agreed we'd meet up at my house and then go explore somewhere new. It usually took a while to convince Casey but today everyone was up for it.

I heard a knock on the door and answered it, seeing the three of them at the door.

"What's up?" Casey asked.

"Nothing much, you?" I asked.

"Same here..." Phoenix replied.

"Yup. We're usually always on the same page." Aria added.

The four of us weren't a popular group or anything. We're sort of friends with everyone but stick to our group y'know?

"You guys ready for some adventure?" I smiled.

"You know it!" Aria said. She was adventurous like me.

"Then let's go!" Phoenix said.

"Yeah!" Casey added.

We headed out of the house and into the forest. I had remembered everywhere we had gone before, and how we got there from the house so we could get back. That way we wouldn't get lost.

Phoenix is the one that gets worried if we ever get lost. Casey plays it cool for a few minutes, then secretly freaks out. Aria on the other hand, can keep her cool. She doesn't freak out or anything.

~~~~~~~~A couple of hours later~~~~~~~

We had been exploring for a while and soon realized we had a dead end. There was just a giant rock mountain in front of us, and I had never seen this before.

"Does this by chance happen to be in your memory?" Casey asked, looking at me.

"Not exactly. I haven't seen this before..." I said.

"Wait, I think I see an opening!" Aria exclaimed.

"Really?" Phoenix asked, slightly nervous for what could come.

"Yeah, come over here guys!" She said. Casey, Phoenix, and I stood by her.

"Yup, I see it now." The three of us guys said.

"Can we go inside it?" Casey asked.

"Why not? I don't think there's anything inside of there." I said.

"Does anyone have a flashlight though..?" Phoenix asked.

"I brought my phone. We can use the flashlight from that." Aria said.

"Then let's go inside this thing!" Casey said, and that's exactly what we did.

Aria turned her flashlight on and led the way into the cave. It started out very narrow but then got wider as we went deeper.

"Let's not go too far, ok?" Phoenix said.

"Ok, Scaredy Cat." Casey joked.

"I'm not scared, just being cautious." He said.

"We can stop here, we can still see the opening, alright Pheonix?" Aria said. He nodded back at her.

Aria set her phone down and started making shadow puppets. She did a rabbit, turtle, some people, some other ones, and then a wolf.

"Keep that wolf, you ready?" Casey smirked. We nodded all pretty confused but went along anyways.

Casey howled for a second and then gave a laugh. The odd thing was, we heard a howl back...

"That wasn't any of you, was it?" Phoenix asked.

"Nope." Aria, Casey, and I replied.

"GET OUTTA HERE NOW!" I yelled, and we bolted all the way back to my house.
