(A/N: So this is going to be a one-shot where Rex explains to Lucy that he was emmet and such things as to that. I had this idea because I wondered how Lucy felt about the whole situation. Hope you enjoy! PEACE!)

~Rex's POV~

Emmet and I had finally gotten to meet up with Lucy. I have to admit, I was excited to see her too. I haven't seen her in so long and I'd missed her all this time. How was I going to feel after seeing her? What if she wasn't the same person I knew her as? She loves the old me... she would still love me now.

The three of us came up with a plan and gave each other mics so we could keep in contact. We also had different code-names as any other cool mission did. A feeling inside both Emmet and I was there. Had she been brainwashed? Her hair wasn't black with the streaks anymore, it was just a bright blue and pink. We know that's not her. Believe me, I usually don't talk about my past but maybe Lucy had something from her past she never shared either. After we had figured out where we would go for our plan we parted ways.

I came up to Lucy and took my mic off. I didn't want Emmet to hear either side of the conversation and I took Lucy's off too. She swatted at my hands and started to put it back on, but I told her not to. She reluctantly didn't put it back on.

"Lucy, I need to talk to you." I said, honestly a
bit nervous.

"Huh? Why do you need to talk to me?" She replied, confused.

"Oh gosh, I haven't seen you in so long." I laughed, she looked at me like I was insane.

"I just met you Rex." Lucy said, a bit annoyed.

"I need to explain all of this to you." I sighed.

"Explain what? I already know what's going on and what Queen Watevera Wanabi has planned." She groaned at me.

I took a deep breath. "I'm Emmet, Emmet Brickowski."

"No way. I don't believe that. You just what me to like you back or something!" Lucy laughed.

I flattened my fluffy hair so it looked like Emmet's. She looked at me in shock.

"A-anyone can do that!" She spat out. "What was your favorite song that you listened to anytime after you got coffee?"

"The Tween Dream remix."

"What's our coffee order?" She asked still in disbelief.

"You like yours black, I had mine with some cream and 25 sugars." I replied, hopefully she would get the point soon.

"Unikitty's transformation, what did she call it?" She was at the point of passing out.

"UltraKatty. That's obvious." I laughed.

"N-no. I don't want to believe it." She said slamming her hand against a wall, breaking some bricks on it.

"Why don't you?" I asked.

"Where have you been all this time then? Why is there not only one Emmet!"

"I got stuck under the dryar system. I waited for any one of you to come, but you never did. I always knew you wanted me to toughen up, and I did exactly that. I got enough confidence, and conviction in me that nobody would come for me and redesigned myself. I hoped this would be the Emmet you always wanted. But after that I knew that nobody would believe it was me. I looked different, started to act different, and then I came up with a new name for this side of myself."

"I-I didn't know you got stuck. We were all so caught up in trying to save the city... I'm sorry." Lucy said, tears starting to form in her eyes.

"I know this is hard to take in, but we need to go stop that Queen and this wedding she has planned. Whadyya say Luce?" I smiled at her. She gave a soft smile back.

"Let's go save everyone. W-with the other you that I know..." She laughed.

"Let's do this."

And with that, we ended up going on our way with the plan.
