Okay, first up, I'm first chair trumpet. That means, I am the best trumpet player out of the 7-8 we have. Odd how the ONLY female in the section got first chair XD

Next, there's a piece we're playing called Earth Wind and Fire in concert (AMAZING song, you should look it up!) and I have a shot (along with another few trumpets) to play a SOLO! It may not seem like much, but ever since I started marching band, I've wanted a solo so badly! And this marching band season, I had a shot, but I lost it...now I have another chance, and without the would-be first chair that isn't there 1st semester! I am so close! I am actually going to start practicing the part after I upload this (quarter note triplets WHYYY!!! ;-; They are the worst! But it won't be too hard) I WANT THIS SOLO!! SO BADLY!!! I WANT ONE BEFORE I GRADUATE! ONE! AAAAH!!!

I am so passionate about this XD but this is a big deal! I have this chance and its in my reach, I just gotta clear that distance! I'll have a chance in the spotlight at the concert! I'll be the star for THOSE 5-15 SECONDS!! MY 15 SECONDS OF FAME!!! I WANT THAT! AAAAGH!!!! I hope I get it! I want this! I AM DETERMINED! I WILL FRICKIN MEMORIZE THIS SOLO IF I NEED TO! I know I don't but FORGET IT! I WANT IT WAY TOO BADLY!
