The Mystic Guard
"...man, still can't get over that suit." Red Guard laughed as he leaned against a water tower. "So cool!"
Mystic Guard giggled as she landed from her staff and took a seat. "Gotta be me!"
Red Guard smiled. "Yeah, you do."
Mystic Guard then looked down and smiled at the beautiful and rather noisy city that her friend fought so hard to protect. She then turned. "The job never gets easier, does it?"
"Some of it does. But, some things never do." Red Guard chuckled.
Mystic Guard nodded before her eyes softened under her mask. "...Belos saw witches as nothing but evil. And any human that helped them as corrupted. Beyond help...I think apart of our job is to make sure villains like him can't just do whatever they please."
Red Guard smirked. "We'll add it to the oath of The Red Guard."
"Pffft, I did not take any oath." Mystic Guard laughed, standing up.
Red Guard shrugged. "You must've missed it."
"Then I make up one now too!" Mystic Guard said before she heard a police siren interrupt her. She looked down and couldn't help but grin.
Red Guard walked beside her and held out his fist. "Go time?"
Mystic Guard pounded her fist against his. "Go time."
The two Guards then flew off in red and gold blurs, ready to save the day once again.
