So, I was looking at dragon anatomy (Because everyone was saying 'dragon anatomy is so WEIRD!' and 'why is it so HARD?!) so first, I searched up Lizard anatomy and Pterodactyl anatomy because dragons obviously don't exist in the real world (Or there is no ACTUAL, LEGIT, RIGHT THERE IN YOUR FACE proof, please don't argue with me QwQ).

I searched up Pterodactyl anatomy only because their wings are the same(-ish) oh, and bat anatomy. And since I'm TERRIBLE at explanations, I drew what I found:

Here's the quick not-well-thought sketch, you can see the finished thing a bit. This is just showing the main parts, the head, the position of the neck, where the neck meets the chest, shoulder, wing membranes and shoulder blade.

The joints and how thick the neck and chest would be.

The neck bones, now because there mythical creatures, we don't actually know how many bones there are in there necks, so I just looked at MOST lizards and the Pterodactyl's and settled with 7 just for this, but there might be more due too how long some of these dragons necks are and MAYBE the MudWings would have less, they DO look like they have the shortest necks (in my opinion at least).

The chest and shoulder blades, I looked at lizards for the chest.

The head and eyes, I looked at a picture of a snake on how their fangs look like when they spray venom, some look like regular teeth while others moved to the position I drew it.

This is all of them put together, I really like the pose sooooo YeAh I took my time to do this XD

This is how it looked like in the end, I am planning to finish the drawing, I am also THINKING about doing a full-body one (or other body parts) but for now, I just did this:

BTW all the art I owe, (except book covers, sorry there just taking forever I think I'll just take 2 next time I open this XD) is done (unless it was a week ago then no, it not done) except amzthest_spell your full body illustration is in the same rate as the book covers.
