So, I know I updated yesterday, but I churned out a MASTERPIECE today.

This month, I'm entering the "My Heart is a Jungle" writing contest for Fanfic. The prompt is to write about characters who meet and fall in love in a chaotic/adventurous time period.

Which got me thinking about this scene in TLQ that I'd had in my Evernote drafts about Qymaen and Ronderu meeting when they were 15. Trouble is, 1.) That scene is horrible and I want to burn it, and 2.) I couldn't ever rewrite it for the official draft of TLQ because the book opens when they're 22. Of course, I could start it earlier, but it's already going to be 60 chapters at least. I don't want to drag out the book too much.

So, I'm writing about their meeting and the Battle of Shrupak (shroo-PAWK), the first battle they fought together. This will definitely be sweet, and a bit of a challenge.

(Also, "Warsong" is a prototype, so....I'm open for title suggestions. 😂)
