By the time we see each other again on this book, this book will have been in progress for a year (10/19/18 is the birthday of this book). It's crazy to look at how far my art has come, though I have a long way to go.

Why am I taking a leave? Well, I'm working on an animatic for She-Ra 2018 with my friend Jenny. If you don't know what an animatic is, it's sort of like a storyboard for an animation. It's a type of motion-oriented art. And I'm making one. The specifics will be here when the video premieres, which won't be for a pretty long time, but I'll be drawing frames for it till October 25. But after that, I'll be back and pass the hard work off to her -- I mean, I'll be back and doing more art. Like my Halloween AUs.

Today I just have one picture, and I needed to edit it further but my app deleted the child after I saved it and I was pretty kriffing mad.

Micah with his master. She'd hug him, but she's not a hugger. Her affection is communicated by things like soft glances, not giving homework, and touching-cheeks-while-flying-as-a-demon-lady.

She's definitely one of a kind.

Well, this means farewell until the 25th. (Hey, at least I gave a date for when you can expect me! So unless I die or something, I will return!)

We're going to do great things together....once I come back.
