SPOILERS for "A True Hero" by Lunarwisp

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Look at him!! *cries rivers* oh my gosh, you have no idea how much I adore this drawing and the story it was inspired from! Like, there are no words. This one was from "A True Hero" by Lunarwisp.
I wanted this one to be as accurate as possible! So I took notes this time. I re-read the paragraph where Lukas walks in the door and I grabbed my pencil and sketchbook. You may not be able to notice in the picture, but there is a scar on his right cheekbone, and some wrinkles around his eyes. Something you also might not have noticed is the very faint lines of his ribs. Because in a paragraph from "A True Hero" it says, and I quote; "...showing off his ribs through the shirt." Something that was really important to convey in the drawing for me, was his expression and his strong yet weakened body. I wanted you to see in his eyes that he missed them just as much as Jesse and Louise missed him. I wanted you to see that-- just by the expression on his face-- that he's been waiting for this moment for 5 long years. And I really hope that I achieved that feeling! It certainly worked on me 😅
