For CartoonyCanine's design contest! Basically, you had to design a character based on a theme. My theme was loss! Here's the design I came up with.

oKAY I ACTUALLY PUT A LOT OF THOUGHT INTO THIS I HAVE REASONING FOR EVERYTHING

-dull, shadowed, and hooded eyes to represent how tired you become after the emotions that come with loss
-a generic design (minus the cracks) to represent how loss can affect anyone
-cracks to represent how loss breaks you apart
-colour shining from the cracks to represent the different emotions tearing you apart
-no shine in the eyes to represent how "dead" loss makes you feel
