I still remember the first time I saw the "Alice in Wonderland" movie back in 2010. I adored it (mostly because I was already rather obsessed with the whole Alice in Wonderland story), but also because the visuals were pretty creative in my opinion.

I wasn't expecting the Cheshire Cat to look the way it did, however, I didn't hate it.

Now, more than 11 years later, I set about creating a new colored pencil piece. After finishing the first eye, I realized that I could take some inspiration from the Cheshire Cat.

So, that's exactly what I did.

In the end, I recreated the Cheshire Cat according to what I imagined in my mind many years ago. (With some minor tweaked details from said imagined cat).
