«Ree's P.O.V.»

"You troublemaker." A player used an enderpearl to teleport to kill and stop me.

I didn't care what was happening but then I felt tightness and warmness.

Then I found myself teleported away from that player.

"What the?" I squealed at the sudden action of Ender, who just kept me away from the danger. But the TNT slipped off from my hands and fell.

In my shock, I saw the other mobs under the tree, escaping. And the TNT directly approaching them.

I only dropped the TNT on the area where players stands. And the mobs that were caged have somewhat large distance away. So the explosion only destroyed their cages.

I tried to catch it, but I failed. But I warned them.

"Muffet look out!" I exclaimed as Muffet and some mobs looked up. The TNT alerts them and quickly ran away.

I saw Ender teleport the mobs that are too slow to go out of the place, away but with Muffet and the other mobs.

Before the explosion, they were on a safe spot away from the explosion and I smiled.

But then.. I saw particles and..

B O O M . . .

«Muffet's P.O.V.»

"GET OUT OF THERE REE-"

B O O M . . .

The impact slightly affect us but didn't take damage.

As the place clears up, Ender warned us to get away from this place as soon as possible since Steve might be still alive..

I beamed as I look at the small group of mobs I'm in with.. I recall their presence but then I notice.. There's no clues where Ree is..

"B-but.. H-how about.." I stuttered as I teared up. Ender tilts his head.

"Y-you didn't use teleportation.. To save.. H-her?"

He stay silent..

The particles..
The figure who hold her..
Is not Ender?!

"What the fuck?! Its not you who grabs her?!" I accidentally swear in rage and anxious when I saw his silent reply.

"We never saw him teleport when he finished saving us." A skeleton with a golden helmet said. Almost of the mobs nodded and hummed in agreement.

"What?!" I glared at Ender who looks very guilty. "You didn't save her?!"

"Look." He paused and sighed heavily. "If I go back and save her, there's a possibility that we both be blown up."

"Oh. So you thought about that meanwhile a player grabbed her away without hesitation." I argued back.

"There's no chance of them getting away from that place. Why, did you saw them disappeared before the TNT explode?!" Ender grumbled as he glared at me, it was scary that it send shivers down to my spines.

"Guys. Relax." A slime stated as he tried to break the argument. "This is the result.. There's nothing we can do to change it."

"I strongly agree." Another spider said as he crossed his arms. "All we should focus on is getting away from here before they found us. We all know that mob drops now are scarce and they need it for their growing population.."

"Right." A zombie with a complete set of leather armor entered the conversation. "Let's go.."

I sighed and watched them walk away, with Ender. It was heartbreaking to feel the feeling when someone dies, plus, that someone see you as her friend. And trusts you.

I looked at Ender's presence and it was.. even more depressing. He was walking away like.. nothing happened.

I looked back at the direction where the mountain is located and frowned.

Its either she's alive but prisoned by the players or dead..

What about.. I will crash in the city secretly later and rescue her?

I know that she's still alive.. I know it..

I stopped on my tracks and heard the clouds grumbled and the rain poured down.

I heard a hurt gasp and saw Ender sitting under a tree, shivering. The other mobs joined him for shelter too.

Oh right.. Endermen are afraid of water..

I went under a tree also but not with them. I silently make a plan and draw it on the dirt. I wasn't sure if I can get out alive but at least I tried.

I want to save my friend..

«Ree's P.O.V.»

I slowly open my eyes and suddenly felt a sting of pain that I didn't felt earlier.

As my blurry vision clears up, I saw myself in a somewhat room, it was made with obsidian and the iron bars are what makes someone see what's inside.

Inside the room, I was locked in a large glass container, with redstone and stuffs.

Fear suddenly knocks on my heart that makes it skip faster.

I tried to raise my hand but I can't move, half of my body are dipped on a strange orange liquid that may be a potion.

I can't control my lower body parts, including my hands since it was in the liquid part also.

After millions of minutes trying to spawn a TNT, I gave up since I can't and I'm getting hopeless.

I heard the iron door creaked open and saw two players.

The other one wears a white lab coat and has glasses while the other one is-

Notch..

"Sir.. This is the recent mob that attacked the team of Steve you just gave a mission to last three days." The guy with a lab coat stated.

"Let me go!" I screamed in trembling fear, but it seems that they can't hear me.

"And also. The mob that an enderman just saved from the attempt attack of a survivor." The guy continued as he gaze down to his notes and gave it to Notch.

"Interesting.." Notch mumbled and scan my presence. "I never thought that mobs can get along like how we players do.."

"So that's what makes them smarter, they can plan together now and also have feelings." The guy stated as Notch nod his head.

"I see. So that's why the players nowadays are challenged on finding mobs for their drops.." Notch confirmed as he gave the notes back to the guy.

"The XP farm made by other players are now using farm mobs such as chicken. The monster spawners are already found and we have high demands of growth population of mobs." The guy paused. "We need more mobs to capture to satisfy the needs. Mobs are one of the main resources of important drops and ingredients."

"I can't update the game just like that. It has consequences." Notch insisted. "Hackers are usually banned and now, the game only have a single server for players to play in."

(A/N: They don't know Creative Mode in my story. Only hackers know but they're banned..)

I gulped as I saw the liquid was rising up.

"Perhaps the researchers can find a way to breed the hostile mobs." The guy said as he opened the iron door.

"And we need to find another creeper if you finished making the solution." Notch glared at me as they went out of the room.

The liquid rise up until it filled the whole container.

I lost conscious..

I lost the reason to live..

Ender..

Where are you..?

«Ender's P.O.V.»

Three days passed and Muffet still don't have the mood to talk to me.

She was still devastated on what happen to Ree, and I was too.

But remembering how annoying she was when she's always with me kinda upsets me..
I just missed those times..
Strangely.. I kinda miss her..

The other mobs we saved departed ways while Muffet planned to go back and save Ree.

She thought that she was just kidnapped not blown up.

I didn't believe her but I want to believe the fact that Ree's alive.. But I saw them failed at escaping the tree.

I keep telling her that she's already dead. But she have faith burning in her eyes and she was filled with  determination.

I have no choice but to follow her, since I'm used to having company now.

And now after a day on travelling back from a great distance WITHOUT teleportation, we arrived at the mountain..

We saw three players mining inside, wait.. they're not mining..

"heY hEy! U nobz, i hab dirt por eberrywan.." A guy screeched like a dumb baby and throw dirt blocks on the two, who jumps around and gets it.

"O wow, dats gweat. I hab deadbushes." The other one said as he showed a deadbush on his hand.

"Meh no hab any. Cya leyter. Ay will pind samteng 2!" The other player said as he leave the cave.

"Good, they're just noobs." Muffet whispered. "It will be easy for us to kill them."

She went out from the place we hide and pounce on the players. The players can't attack her since she spawn cobwebs around them.

Once they were killed, I left the hiding spot and followed her went on the top of the trees that surrounds the area.

We jump to the other trees one by one until we were near a barrier with the city in it.

"There it is.." She said as she gave me a map. "We have to get in there. People usually work at night.."

"Wha-what? Where are we going?" I asked, confused.

"Here." She pointed on a place on the map I was holding.

"How did you know?"

"Before you and Ree help us to escape, I heard that they are taking the hostile mobs to the huge lab just near the barrier that surrounds the city." She replied as she hide her map.

"That way." She pointed to the left direction and take the lead. Trying to be determined, I followed her and sighed.

"Are you sure she's alive?" I asked with a sad tone, she shifted her head as she stopped.

"You know Ree than I am." She responded. "We just met l-like, two or three days ago, how can I know her that much?" I complained.

She shrugged as she move on and continue hopping to trees. I wasn't very faithful to Ree, she caused so much trouble, since we met. Even though, she save me multiple times, I realized that I wasn't fully trusting her.

Then guilt took over. Damn, if she trusted me, why wouldn't I?

"Ender!" Called Muffet from a far distance, I spaced out but quickly recovered. I teleported to her spot and continue our journey.

"Don't just stand there. Anytime, they can hurt Ree. Whatever you're thinking. Snap out of it." She insisted, hissing, angry that I wasn't fully serious about this.

"I was thinking about Ree." I cleared out as she look at me.

"What if we came there for nothing.. What if she wasn't alive and prisoned at all?" I added, asking.

"Dead. Or alive. As long I learned the truth about her. I'll accept it." She answered with a smile as I nodded.

"Just for once Ender.." Muffet paused. "Have faith to Ree like how she trusted you."

She left me stunned with those words.

I need.. To have faith that Ree is alive..
