Zane's PoV

After Y/N stops laughing she holds out her hand and helps me up. "I think I win the contest of being more fabulous. You can't even hold that pose when-" She throws her leg onto my shoulder and bends backwards. "It's so easy." I glare at her as she stands back up straight. "What are you doing with that information?" "Well I'm going to do a bit of sabotaging." Her expression lights up when I say that making me chuckle. "Can I help?" Y/N asks excitedly. "Sure it'll be fun to have a partner in crime." "Can I show you something cool?" "Sure." Y/N runs into another room for a minute and I see a dark F/C feather like one I have around my neck fall from under the door. 

Y/N's PoV

I run off into another room and focus on the fluffy dark F/C wings. The dark light swirls out from  my necklace and onto my back turning into my wings. As I go to open the door I fold my wings onto my back. Zane looks at me as I walk out of the room and asks, "What did you want to show me." "This!" "Wh-" I cut him off by opening my wings and watching his one eye widened. He stares at my wings before asking, "Can I touch them." "Yeah go ahead just be careful please." I feel Zane rubbing my wings and I flap them hitting him in the face. He steps back and glares at me before going back to examining them.

Zane's PoV

These wings look so familiar. I take the chain out of my shirt and hold up the feather to Y/N's wings. They can't be the same person. She disappeared so long ago. I step back away from her wings and right in front of her. "Y/N." "Yes?" "Does this look familiar?" She looks at me confused before I hold up the chain. "How did yo-" I hug her. "I thought you disappeared." "I thought you forgot about me!" I feel tears run down my cheeks and a few hit my head. (Zane is a little nugget compared to the reader.) There's a knock from the door and we break apart the hug. We wipe the tears off our cheeks and I tell whoevers outside to come in. "There's another small ship ahead that looks like it's from Phoenix Drop do we leave it be?" "Who's on it." "It looks like a few guards." "Just leave it be." "Okay." And with that the guard leaves. "So Y/N where'd you disappear to for those years." "Well after my dad made me stay away from you for showing you my wings I stayed in the forest or high up in the air where I still got to see you for about a year, and then I just jumped village to village. That was until my dad died and I finally visited O' khasis, and found you." "You should've dropped something soft on my head to make me look up." "That actually never crossed my mind." Y/N looks around and looks out a window. "Wow it's already kind of dark." I look out the window too, to see what she's talking about. "Oh you're right. Follow me I'll show you where we can sleep." We walk down a short hallway into a room with two beds. "Here we are take a bed." Y/N flops onto a bed and almost instantly falls asleep. I bend over her and kiss her forehead. "Good night, not alone buddy." I lay down on my bed and stare at the ceiling before falling asleep.

*Dream*

"Hey Zane!" A squeaky voiced Y/N calls out. "Yeah (Nickname N/N)?" "Follow me I wanna show you something!" "What are you showing me?" "Close your eyes for a second." Zane covers his eyes with his nugget hands, but sees a dark light shine through the cracks in between his fingers. "Open your eyes!" Zane moves his hands but doesn't see his not alone buddy. "Y/N? Where did you go?" "Look up." When Zane looks up he sees Y/N flapping her small dark F/C wings and hovering in the air. "Woah!" He yells looking at her. A long feather falls from her wings and onto Zane's nose making him sneeze. "Blesh you." Y/N drops down to the ground and grabs the feather out of the air. "What are you going to do with that?" Zane asks watching Y/N reach into her pocket and pull out a long silver chain. Y/N sticks the chain through the feather and hands it to Zane. "Here!" She squeaks. Zane takes it and puts it around his neck. Before either of them can say anything else a tall H/C haired man walks out of the woods. "Y/N! What did I tell you about letting out your wings around other people!" He yells. "But dad he's my friend!" "That's not an excuse!" Zane stands there not knowing what to do. The H/C haired man grabs Y/N's wrist and starts dragging her into the forest with him. "Bye Zane!" Y/N squeaks to Zane for the last time. "Bye Y/N!" Zane calls. He walks home thinking he'll be meeting with Y/N again tomorrow. When tomorrow does come and Zane goes to where he meets his not alone buddy she's not there to greet him with a squeaky elmoish hello. He waits there for an hour thinking she might have something to do and will be late. Garroth had to come and make him come home. While all that happened Y/N watched from above waiting to fly down and hug him and tell jokes like they always did. Now she couldn't with her dad keeping an eye on her making sure she stays away from her only friend. 

Well that's about it. I thought I should update something and not wait like a year to do so.
