Chapter 2
The annoying sound of your alarm woke you up from your deep sleep. Groaning you blinding slap on the cloak...or where it was supposed to be on your nightstand but you didn't have time to unpack and set everything up. The alarm clock was on the floor. You groan even more, "Oh shut it!" Then you finally hit the alarm.
You dragged yourself out of bed but shiver, already wishing to be back in bed. Rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, you quickly just picked random clothes from your clothes box. Looking in the mirror you saw your outfit.
(Insert your outfit)
A great day to start the first day of school for yourself. Of course you still got to do your hair and makeup. So that is what you did next.
You weren't super excited, you knew that it wasn't going to be easy to make friends. For the reasons you made before. Everyone was already in their groups. Who will make room for you?
After doing your hair and makeup, you headed down the stairs where Mom was making toast for everyone, because the toaster and bread was the only thing that was out to cook breakfast. "Morning, pumpkin!" Mom smiled.
"Hey Mom." You kissed her cheek.
"Ready for school?"
"I guess."
"Are you even excited?"
"Honestly? A little."
"I can't wait to see who your new friends are!"
"If I get friends."
"You will, honey. Maybe not the first day, because...come on, it's impossible to make complete real friends on the first day. You might get a few friendly hellos."
You sigh, "I know....I just miss my old friends."
"You still got phones and social media."
"I know."
Then the pounding feet of Dad coming down the steps, "Hey! Everyone is up!" He came and kissed his wife and grabbed a piece of toast. He was dressed in a suit and tie and had a briefcase. He was starting his new job today too. "Let's go, (Y/N)! We are going to be late!"
"Kay Dad." You grabbed your backpack and you followed your father to the car. Dad then drove out to the road and started to head to your new school. The town was pretty. The trees and nice weather. It was better than your old town. Then it was the school. You took a deep breather as you undid your seat belt. "Hey." Dad stopped you as he placed his hand on your knee, "Have a great day, okay? I believe you will have a great day." I gave a small smile, "Thanks Dad." Then you got out of the car and walked into your new school.
There was kids everywhere and all sorts of kinds. The nerds, the popular kids, jocks, last minute touch up on makeup and hair, goths, and even normal looking people. Your last group of friends was all over the place. You never really fit in a certain group. You were part of the nerds, normal, and a hint of popular. But that was at your old school. This was a completely new battle field.
Walking around, you watched everyone. Some people looked at you, and watched you until you went down the hall. Was that good or bad?
We pulled out the piece of paper in your pocket and you looked at your locker number at the top of your schedule. You went to your locker. Number 618. What a weird number. You opened it up and started to put some books in that you didn't want to carry.
"Hey! A new locker buddy!" A voice cheered.
You looked back as saw a girl your age with short brown hair, glasses, and green eyes. She was wearing a T-shirt and jeans. She smiled, "You must be new."
"I am." You replied.
"Sweet." Then she stuck out her hand, "The name is Hardy." (Yep! I'm in this story!)
"Hardy? That is a weird first name." You commented.
Hardy shrugged, "it was given to me and I love it. What's yours?"
"(Y/N)"
"That's a cool name."
"Thanks."
Then Hardy just takes the paper in your hands, "Ooo! A smart one."
"I'm not a nerd." You snapped. You don't know how these people would treat a nerd."
"Okay and I'm not a geek." Hardy chuckled, "Dude it's fine." She hands you your schedule back, "It's good to be smart. Gravity Falls could use some more smart people."
"I guess."
Hardy then went to her locker, right next to yours, "So you just moved here?"
"Yeah."
"From where?"
"(Insert your old town)"
"Really? Then come here? Weird."
"My dad got a new job here."
"Ah. That makes sense."
Then the bell rang, "Hey, we got the same class, want me to walk you there?" Hardy asked. "I would like that." You replied. "Great!"
Together you and Hardy head to your first class. Everything was working out fine. Your first few classes was nice and easy. Hardy was there for two of them. She was a friendly person and seemed to be nice and wanted to be my friend. Could you have a new friend already?
Then lunch time came. You sat next to Hardy.
"And you passed!" You laughed.
Hardy laughed with you, "Just barely. I blame Joey for destroying the project."
"Well it's a good thing that you two just threw something together last minute."
"Hey, Hardy!" A new voice called out.
You looked back and could see some more people walking to the table. A girl, about your age, with long blond hair and blue eyes. A boy with jet black hair and dark brown eyes and seems to be a year older than you. Than another boy with white hair, blue eyes, and seem to be a year younger than you.
"hey guys!" Hardy smiled.
"Who is this?" The older boy asked.
"Guys, meet (Y/N). (Y/N) meet Pacifica, Gideon, and Joey." Hardy introduced you. You smiled and wave, "Hey."
"Hi there!" Pacifica smiled as she sat next to you, "You must be new! It's nice to see you." She was wearing like the colorful 80's clothing. It actually suit her.
"Oh...thanks."
"I just moved here too at the beginning of the school year with my cousin, Gideon." She pointed at the smaller boy. Gideon looked at you and slightly blushed, "Uh...hi."
"Hey." You smiled.
Gideon lowered his head, he was still blushing.
"It's a real nice place." Pacifica continues, "Just got to get used to it. You'll soon see sooner or later."
"What do you mean by that?"
"You wouldn't understand if we tell you. You just got to wait and see for yourself."
"Or because you think the gnomes will get ya." Joey chuckled.
"Joey!" Pacifica growled.
"Don't listen to Pazzie, (Y/N). She's been having her nose in a book."
"Joey! Sh!"
Then suddenly another group came up to us, "Huh...what are you doing here?" You looked up and saw the person who talked. In the front was a girl, about your age too, with long brown hair, bright blue eyes, a black headband with a gem on it, a black long sleeve shirt with a blue button up vest and a black shirk. Behind here was a smaller girl that looks Asian with long black hair and glasses with a green suit jacket with a white button up shirt and a green skirt. Another girl that was a bit larger and had short brown hair and brown eyes, was wearing nice jeans and a nice pink shirt.
Everyone on your table groaned. "What do you want Mabel?" Pacifica growled.
"You are at our table."
"This isn't your table. Your table is over there." Pacifica pointed to another table.
"Not today, hippie. Today is Wednesday so this table, third one in the middle row, is ours."
"We were here first."
"Does that really matter?"
"Matter in fact, yes." You stepped in.
This Mabel girl looked at you, her eye brows raised, "And who are you?"
"(Y/N)."
"You must be new...I don't recognize your ugly face."
Oh so this was the mean girl and her group of friends. Her two friends giggled. "Yeah I'm new and you must be the stuck up mean girl." You commented.
"(Y/N)!" Hardy hissed at you.
Mabel scoffed, "Wow, you better watch your mouth little runt. That mouth of yours is going to get yourself killed."
"Is that a threat?"
She smirked, "Nope...it's a promise."
"Oh my gosh. Are you seriously fighting over the table?" A new voice groaned. We all looked at the back of the mean girl group and there was a boy there. He had brown hair, brush to the side, and bright blue eyes. He was wearing a black button up shirt, a blue vest with a gem around his neck, and black pants. He was actually really handsome and cute with that charming look.
Mabel glared at him, "You know the rules, Dipper."
"Yes, Yes, but hurry up before the food gets cold. I don't want another cold lunch." Dipper snapped. Then he smirked, "Unless you need some help?"
"I don't need help, especially from you." Mabel snapped at him before facing us, "Scram before blood becomes your new makeup."
You opened your mouth to protest but Hardy stood up to stop you, "Okay, you win. We will move okay? No need for violence. Come on guys." Then everyone got up. You were the last one to stand up, grabbed your plate of food, and left with your friends. You sat at a different table.
"Why did we have to move? Who are those jerks?" You asked.
"Mabel Gleeful and her two friends, Candy and Grenda. Mabel and Dipper, the boy in the back, are the rich and famous Gleeful Twins. Powerful people they are. They live with their great uncles in the mansion up on the hill. They basically run the town." Hardy explained.
"They have a show too. Call the Tent of Telepathy." Gideon added.
"It's a magic show." Joey added.
"A magic show? Oh please." You rolled your eyes.
Joey hide a laugh, "Oh you think it isn't real? They are as real as you can get. I don't know how they do it...only Pacifica."
Everyone looks at Pacifica.
"Why?" You asked.
"Like I said before....You have to figure it out on your own. You won't believe any of us until you see if on your own. Trust me." Pacifica replied.
"Then why don't you do a little spell?" Gideon suggested.
"Yeah! Like make this mini pie and throw it at Gleeful." Joey got excited.
"No! You will not ruin his face!" Hardy just grabbed the mini pie out of Joey's hands. Everyone looked at Hardy. She shrugged, "I know he's a jerk but man...he's hot okay?"
Everyone rolled their eyes, "Whatever Hardy." Pacifica rolled her eyes.
"Alright fine, don't throw the pie. Just do something, will you?" Joey asked.
Pacifica sigh, "Alright! Alright. I'll just...make this carton of milk come to life okay?" She held up her milk from her lunch. "Deal."
Pacifica placed it in the middle of the table and muttered a weird language. It sounded like Latin. Then suddenly the milk carton opened up these eyes that just appeared and a mouth. "Roar! Roar!" The milk carton cried out. It sounded like a little child.
Your eyes widen, "What the heck!"
"It's magic." Joey replied.
"awe! Look how cute it is!" Hardy awed as she reached to touch it.
"Roar!" The milk carton cried out as it bit her.
"Ow!"
Everyone laughed.
You looked at the milk carton very closely. Seeing if there were strings or something. Then you look at Hardy's finger, which was bleeding. You can't fake that. You're eyes widen in awe, "So magic is real?"
"Yep!" Gideon smiled.
"But the Gleefuls use it for evil." Joey added.
You looked back at the table of popular kids. More had join them. The two were boys, so they must have been Dipper's friends. They were all laughing and chatting with each other. Mabel and Dipper Gleeful...they were the most well dress in the group, since they were rich. They even had snobbish type of tone. They were jerks...and evil.
