Chapter 6 : Perfect Gift for Him, But Painful Gift to Me.

Hana's (YOU) POV.

Its finally, October.

"Hm, today is Woohyun birthday. What should I give him as a gift?", I smile when I imagined how happy he is if he get a birthday present.

I took a deep breath then exhaled. Now, is a recess time. I sat under a tree, waiting for Woohyun to brought our food. I feel really great today.

Before, when we arrived at school, everyone already wished for Woohyun's birthday. He looks very happy. Then, I quickly ignored them and walked away, as if I dont even care about his birthday. Hahaha.

"Hehe. He must be curious why I didnt wish for his birthday yet.", I giggled and look up in the sky. What present should I give him, eh?

"Hui! What are you spacing out for?", Woohyun waved his palm infront of my face. He move his face closely infront of me. Our nose almost touch.

"E-Eh?", I shocked and quickly facing infront but as I wanna move my head, without caution, I bumped my forehead on his forehead.

"Oww!", We both moaning because of hurt.

"Ah, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!", I quickly looked at him and touched his forehead to look if there will be bruise.

"Ah!", Woohyun suddenly slapped my hand from touching his forehead.

I'm shocked. Auch..

"E-Err..", I dont know what to say because its so awkward between us. I looked at my hand that he slapped.

"A-Ah... I-I'm sorry..", Woohyun looked at me with sad and guilty expression.

"Hehe. Nahh, nevermind~ It doesnt even hurt. Haa! Where's my bread?", I tried to smile brightly and change the topic eventho my heart already turn into pieces.

"H-Haa.. Here.", Woohyun took out a chocolate bread from a plastic bag and gave it to me.

"Thank you, Woohyun-ah.", I smiles brightly at him and take the bread. Just forget about it, Hana. Today is the biggest day.

-After School-

"Hana!", Sungjong was calling my name from behind.

"Oh, Sungjong-ah.", I called his name back and smiles at him.

"Where are you going? Isnt your home is that way?", Sungjong asked me while point the usual way I used to get home.

"Ahh~ No, today I plan to search a gift for Woohyun. Its his birthday, right? I cant wait to surprise him!", I shouted excitedly. I saw Sungjong chuckled beside me.

"Ehhhh?? Why are you laughing, Flower Boy?", I make an angry expression while crossed my arms on my chest.

"Hahaha. Nothing, it just.. you looks very excited. Come on, lets go now. I will accompany you.", Sungjong just smiles at me and dragged to the most biggest street shops.

******

-In crowded place near the shops-

"Hey, Hana. What type of present you gonna give to Woohyun?", Sungjong asked me while we walked together along those shops and look around.

"Hmm, I dont know~ What type of present should I give to boy?", I asked Sungjong while keep looking around.

"Boy, huh? If I, I like sport shoes! Oh, if you are rich enough to waste your money, then you should buy me a NEW CAR CONTROL! OR XBOX!", Sungjong gave out his opinion with an excited expression while he was imagining those boys things.

"Well, I didnt ask you about YOUR present, so.. anything else?", I giggled when I saw he already pouted.

"Hmm, how about this?", Sungjong pulled me into a unique shop and he grabbed something then showed it to me.

"What is this?", I asked him eventho I already know what that thing is.

"Its a locket!", Sungjong shouted at me and rolled his eyes.

"Yes, I know its a locket. But you want me to give THIS to Woohyun?", I asked for his confirmation. I make a serious expression.

"Yeah!", Sungjong answered with full confident.

Haish..

"Look, Mr.Flower Boy. Woohyun is NOT my boyfriend already. This thing,.. he will obviously reject it if I give this to him. Its obviously a couple locket.", I explained to him little by little eventho its hard for me to said those words.. Sigh..

"E-Err.. I-I'm sorry, Hana..", Sungjong looked at me deep in my eyes with his sorry-puppy-eyes-like. Hee, so cute.

"Nah.. nevermind~ Its all in the past.", I told him.

"B-But.. its not the real Woohyun! The real truth Woohyun will never leave you alone like this, Hana!", Sungjong held my shoulders.

"I-I know..", I looked down because I felt warm in my eyes. Oh no.. My tears..

"Hey, Hana. Listen. Dont be too weak. I know exactly how you felt but please Hana, for your own and Woohyun's sake, dont.. dont, ever ever, you give up on him!", Sungjong suddenly wiped my tears with his handkerchief.

I flinched a bit. Then, I looked at him after I done wiping my tears. I'm so stupid for crying infront of a boy.. Geez..

"Pfft.", I heard Sungjong laughing.

"What the.. Hey! Why are you laughing?", I glared at him.

"You are sooooooo UGLY! Hahahaha.", Sungjong finally bursted into laugh.

At first, I wanna smack him but then, I also laughed because of what has happened.

We finally bought two locket that me and Sungjong choose. I got out from the shop with a very satisfied feeling. Hee, I cant wait to see Woohyun.

******

-At a park near Woohyun's House-

"What should I say to him? Just a 'Happy Birthday' ? Or should I say something long?", I talked to myself.

Sungjong already got home because he needs to take care of his little brother.

"Ugh, why am I so nervous? So cold~", I smiles while breath in my both palm together to warm my hands.

I walk to Woohyum's house. He will be happy right with my present? Hehe.

"Hana?", Suddenly someone called my name from behind.

I turned back and I saw Jung Sora that I met in the train station a few days ago.

"Sora?!", I smiles brightly and run quickly towards her. I hug her.

"Ah, I'm right! Its really is Hana!", Sora hugged me back and we jumped a little bit like a playful children beside a park.

"Awh~ Gladly I meet you! I really want to meet you again. What are you doing here?", Sora asked me with a very cute-doll smiles. We are still holding hands. Awhh, shes so cute.

"A-Ah.. I'm about to visit.. a friend house. Yeah, a friend house.", I trembled a bit because its so shy if I said I wanna go to a EX BOYFRIEND house.

"Oh, I see~ I live around here, you know.Hehe.", She told me with a very happy face. Hehe what a really interesting and cute girl~

"Ohh, really? Wow, what a coincidence! I can ask you to take a good care of my friend then. Hehe.", I joked with her.

"Ehh, sure! Why not! I owed you that day tho. Hahaha. Who's that friend of yours?", She's laughing while saying that.

"Hahaha. Ahh, his name is--", Before I could finish my words, I heard someone calling Sora's name.

I looked at that someone behind Sora. And I saw.. something that.. something that I just wish, that I can turn back time.

"S-Sora??", Woohyun suddenly called Sora's name from her behind.

Sora looks shocked when she heard someone was calling her name. She turned around and ..

"W-Woohyun oppa?", Sora suddenly crying soundly like she doesnt believe what are she facing right now.

"I-Its true.. Its really is.. Sora..", Woohyun face looks speechless.

But then,

Woohyun suddenly run towards us and he drags Sora into his arms. He hugs her tightly as he gonna let her go even for a seconds.

What are this?! W-Why Woohyun hug Sora? Did he know her? How can he remember her?! W-What is happening..?

"N-No.. No.. D-Dont tell me.. S-Sora.. is THAT Sora?", I whispered at myself and covered my mouth after I finally understand this situation. No! No!

I just looked at them hugging infront of me. Woohyun doesnt even bother about my existence. He looks so glad get to see Sora and.. he doesnt even look at me.. not even a glance..

W-Woohyun-ah.. look at me dear..

Sora suddenly hugs Woohyun back. Tightly.

My eyes starting to tearing. No.. this cant be.. this is not it.. no..

I frozed.

Theres not even a words come out from each of us. My eyes pin at them hugging infront if me. Woohyun-ah.. d-dont.. please dear.. dont do this to me, Woohyun-ah..

PLOP!

Finally.. my tears came out..

I just crying quietly while watching them hugging.. infront of me.

God, why.. why are you so cruel to me..

Did I do something wrong in my past life ?! Did I kill someone ?! Did I hurt someone ?!

If I didnt.. then why ? Why must I feels all this KILLING feeling ? Why must I feel this HURT feeling ?! WHY WHY WHY !!

S-So.. unfair.. No, please, this is just a dream! Wake me up! Wake me up!! I HATE THIS DREAM! I HATE THIS !

I cant stop my crying. I wanna shout loudly as much as I can.

Why .. my fate should be like this? This isnt something that I want.. No.. No..

I quickly wiped my tears. I try to act as normal as I can.

"E-Ehem.", I coughed a bit.

"O-Oh.. I-I'm sorry!", Sora suddenly pushed Woohyun away and covered her red-tomato-like face. I looked at her.

Why must it be like this.. why..

"H-Hana?", Woohyun finally realize my existence after a few minutes.

I looked at him with a normal face as I can. I must hide my hurt expression. I will never show this side of me infront of Woohyun.

"H-Hey..", I tried to wave at him but my hand is too weak to move correctly. My strength has gone. Completely.

God, please.. I'm begging you! Bring my Woohyun back! Bring his memories back! I'm begging you! Please..!

Woohyun suddenly walked towards me. He smiles brightly.

He suddenly pulled me and hugged me tightly. W-What..

Is he .. remember everything?!

"E-Eh.. Woohyun-ah? Do you rememb--", Before I can finish my talking, Woohyun suddenly said ..

"Thanks Hana! I really thank you!", Woohyun hugged me more tighly until I feel like I cant breath. But nevermind, I dont even care about my breathing system anymore.

"W-What do you mean--", He cut my words again.

"Thanks Hana! This is the best BIRTHDAY GIFT ever!", He released me and looked at me in the eyes and smiles really really .. brightly. That smile .. its been awhile huh..

"Thank you very much for bringing Sora back to me, Hana. You're really a great FRIEND. I really dont know how to pay you but really..--", Before he gets to finish his words, I saw a really shiny clean tears in his eyes. He is crying..

Dont cry for someone else.. you idiot..

"Ohmygod, I'm such a fool.. Why did I cry for? Hahaha.", He keeps wiping his tears but it keeps coming out. No, Woohyun.. stop.. stop..

I quickly wiped his tears on his corner eyes. He twitched a bit because he shocked of my action. I dont care anymore..

"Heh, As I thought, you would like it very much. Your birthday gift.", I took a peek at Sora and she was smiling at me and I replied with a 'big smile' back.

My eyes starting to fills with tears.

"E-Eh, Hana! W-Why? W-Why are you crying?", Woohyun got panicked.

"Hahaha. I dont know. I'm so happy that you finally got to meet her, maybe.", Iied. This is killing me inside,.. Woohyun-ah..

"Hahaha. What a fool are you.", Woohyun wiped my tears with his fingers. D-Dont... I'm gonna cry more and more.. Dont be kind to me,.. idiot..

"Thank you very much, Hana. I thought you dont remember. I seriously owe you a big one. You've gave me such a very precious and best birthday gift ever, Hana. I will treasure Sora for the rest of my life. I cant afford to lose her. Thank you..Hana.", Woohyun looked at me. Deep down in my eyes.

Then he let me go .. and goes back to Sora's arms.

Those 'thank you' is actually a 'goodbye' to me.

Those smile is actually a hell to me.

Those happy crying is actually a worst crying to me.

That perfect gift .. is actually a painful gift to me.., Woohyun-ah..
