We both threw a punch at one another which connected with the other's faces. I refused to use Clairvoyance to know his next attack to make it a fair contest since it seemed that Tametomo had no intention of backing down. We continued to throw jabs, uppercuts, hooks, and everything else that we could.

The group that was negotiating had concluded their meeting and were waiting to let the others know, but it seemed like both warriors weren't planning on ending their slugfest any time soon. Eucliwood used her key to open a gate and pulled out a boom box. She inserted a specially modified cassette and pressed play as she stood proudly watching.

X: "Uh, Eucliwood. What exactly-"

"THE ONLY THING I KNOW FOR REAL, THERE WILL BE BLOOOOD, SHEEED!!"

At that exact moment, Eucliwood pulled out some sunglasses and put them on while the rest looked at her. They wondered what exactly she was doing.

X: "I... I can't explain anything honestly"

I launched myself forward and kneed the Shinto warrior in the face as I brought my fist back.

Y/n: "Now you SUBMIT!!"

A powerful punch buries Tametomo's face into the ground while I pull a move out of Mordred's book.

Y/n: "And he's out of here!!!"

The force from the punch earlier was strong enough to make my opponent bounce off the ground and straight into my foot, as I kicked him away.

Tamamo: "Um, Lord Y/n?"

I turn over to see Amaterasu's girl walking over to me with a group.

Y/n: "You're Ama-"

*BOOM*

I look up to see that another warrior had been eliminated.

Y/n: "Seriously?"

L/n Peerage Knight, Mordred Pendragon has been eliminated.

Scathach of the Belial Peerage. 42 contestants remaining.

Y/n: "Belial.."

The name had continued popping all the time. Seems that this team would be quite the trouble during the tournament.

Kartikeya: "Scathach huh? She's pretty powerful. To think that bastard had added her to his peerage?!"

I remained quiet as I acknowledged the servant of Belial. I had thought that Mordred would of at least made it to the battle royale.

Y/n: "Even she got outed?"

I sigh internally while looking at the troops I had in my team.

Y/n: "22 until it's officially the end of our team. After that, it's a free for all"

Everyone looked at one another as I felt someone holding my hand.

Tamamo: "It is great to meet the Shinto hero in the flesh once again. It's truly an honor Lord Y/n"

She bows as I nod.

Y/n: "Same here"

I sense something odd as my Clairvoyance started acting up.

X: "Y/n?"

Y/n: "I'm fine"

I looked at the battlefield as all the faces arrived to the center of the map. My expression must of not been something reasurring as I felt Eucliwood cling to my arm while they all stand beside me.

Tamamo: "Lord Y/n?"

Tametomo: "YOU-!!"

Yukari: "As you wish, honey~"

I pull Enkidu and pull as many of the people with me as I see reality shatter before my eyes in a wide scale. However, I could take all of them.

Not just those with me, but also most of those around us as well.

It was such a quick and powerful attack that I could barely escape from it.

Kartikeya: "Did she seriously just take all of them that simple?!"

Out of the group of trees, a group of 4 walked out. Spear heading the pack was whom I assumed is the man of the hour.

Diehauser: "Scathach, Yorihime. Defend if we are attacked"

He looks at me as he seems to have no worry of being in my presence.

Diehauser: "I take it you're the infamous Y/n Gilgamesh L/n?"

Y/n: "I'll allow you the privilege to speak, mongrel. Tell me, you seeking my acknowledgement as well?"

Diehauser: "I don't need nothing out of you. The only thing I need to do is beat you and show you who's number one"

Y/n: "That so?"

I look over to Kartikeya who began healing his wounds.

Y/n: "You aren't the first or last to try and prove that joke a reality"

Tamamo: "Lord Y/n!! He's dangerous. Diehauser is the most powerful warrior in this competition.. sorry"

Y/n: "I can see why. You, woman"

She narrows her eyes as a glare is sent straight at me.

Y/n: "What exactly did you do?"

Yukari: "As if I have to explain myself to you"

The remaining warriors all began to gather around us, those who have relationships with me stood at my side.

Akeno: "I know this is supposed to be a competition and all, but.."

Tamamo: "Perhaps an alliance against them would work?"

Issei stood at one side while Kartikeya took the other. Vali descended and was above me.

Issei: "That guy is no joke Y/n. He's got some sort of technique that nullified my sacred gear"

Vali: "He's the problem"

Kartikeya: "Seeing as everyone acknowledges them as the common enemy, a truce until we go back to our battle"

Y/n: "Yea.."

Our eyes never let go of one another as I threw a signal at Kartikeya.

Kartikeya: "Hm, face me Celtic warrior"

Scathach: "A divine figure I see?"

The two charged forward as his other Knight took center stage.

Yorihime: "Watatsuki no Yorihime accepts your duel, Lord Y/n"

I push Issei forward and look up at Vali. He doesn't say a word and stands beside his rival.

Vali: "2 dragons against a highly skilled warrior knight. I suppose this isn't it, right?"

He jokingly asked me.

??: "Dragons? Then I suppose I'll aid you"

A short girl landed before me with a bow.

Melusine: "Greetings Lord Y/n. I am Melusine, Rook of Lady Seekvaira Agares. Before her elimination, I was told to follow your lead if that were to happen"

I nod as I allow her to take part as well.

Y/n: "No"

I look back as my eyes locked with Yoshitsune.

Y/n: "There's a reason I traded a shot from Ea for you.. Show me"

She was slightly taken back by my words before she broke out into a laugh. Drawing out both her blades, she stood between both dragons and smiled at her competition.

Yoshitsune: "I am Taira no Kagekiyo!! I am Minamoto no Yoshitsune!! And I am Ushiwakamaru!! I am your opponent"

She spirits forward as Yorihime responds too. The dragons each follow after.

Yukari: "Oh~? Are the rest perhaps my comp~? Well isn't that quite the treat~?"

Diehauser: "Enjoy yourself"

Yukari: "You're the best, Dear Husband~"

She gives him a wink but Diehauser ignores her teasing.

Tamamo: "I'll provide support"

A witch in a cloak went to her side as some strange spells began to be placed on our arms.

Tamamo: "Medea?"

Medea: "Seeing as they are our main way of eliminating the biggest threat, I shall do my part too"

I look back as Medea seemed a like nervous at my gaze.

Medea: "I-I still dislike you!!"

"The hell did I do to her?"

A golden mark appear on both of their hands as I turn back around.

Y/n: "If you'll be giving us support, might as well share my mana since I doubt you'll be able to handle it all on your own"

Medea: "This abundance of mana... I can do so much with this amount!!"

Tamamo: "Let's focus on the ones in front of us for now"

Yoshitsune is throw backwards as her light wounds quickly healed up in an instant.

Yoshitsune: "Ho? Hahaha!!! Bring it then~"

She jumps back as Vali quickly flew and delivered plenty of attacks to the unfazed Yorihime.

Issei: "He ain't the only one!!"

He threw a punch at Yorihime, who blocked it with her blade.

He jumped back as Melusine launches a barrage of attacks.

Yorihime: "You aren't landing anything"

Melusine: "I will soon"

Yorihime: "Hm?"

Yorihime was slowly getting pushed back as Vali continues to deliver calculative strikes.

Vali: "Defense down by half. It's your move now"

*BOOST*

Yoshitsune stops and prepares herself to propel forward.

Yoshitsune: "Do it"

Issei puts his hand on her back.

Issei: "I pass it on to you"

Yoshitsune receives an increased amp of energy from Issei's boost and quickly closes the distance between her and Yorihime.

Yorihime: "Now you're pretty strong"

Yoshitsune: "I ain't going down"

They're attacks were too quick for the others to see. A swing of a blade turned to 5 in other directions. Yorihime began to take the offensive as Yoshitsune never backed down.

Y/n: "Hmph"

I smile a bit as I look at the other fights.

Kartikeya: "Ha!!!"

Kartikeya would jump into his time stop to strike the celtic maiden warrior. She would block with one of her spears while quickly delivering an attack that Kartikeya would dodge.

Kartikeya: "So you're like him huh?"

Scathach: "And what might you mean by that?"

Kartikeya: "How are you moving in stopped time?"

Scathach: "Hm, I wonder how?"

Kartikeya: "I guess I chose the right person to challenge?"

Scathach: "I'm greatful for the challenge then"

??: "Where are you looking~?"

X: "Y/N!!!"

I hadn't even noticed her presence.

Yukari: "Don't you know that you can't take your eyes.."

I look down as Yukari was clinging onto my chest.

Yukari: "Off of your enemy~?"

X throws Excalibur and nearly took her head if she hadn't dodged backwards.

Yukari: "Ho-?"

However, Eucliwood had rushed forward to catch the sword and swing.

Yukari: "Tch, to think I'd be moved back"

The two moved forward while the group finally got the motive to charge at the remaining two.

Medea: "Are you not going to fight?"

Y/n: "He has to show me he's worth me exercising my strength"

Medea: "Urgh.. Isn't that what happened with that child too?"

She whispered to herself.

Tamamo: "That child?"

"Again, what the hell is she talking about?"

Medea: "Hey, I need to speak with you on something?"

Y/n: "Talk"

I observed the battles taking place while giving her my attention at the same time.

Medea: "There are people searching for you, you know that?"

Y/n: "When am I not? I've been hunted by devils, beasts, and even the world itself. Who else do I have to add to that list?"

Medea: "I'm being serious. We were given a mission to find you"

Tamamo: "By who?"

Medea: "The Grand Caster"

I quickly turn to her as my curiosity is peaked.

Y/n: "Merlin?"

Medea: "No. He is someone completely different.. His name was not said, only his class"

Y/n: "What could the Grand Caster want with me?"

Medea: "Not sure, but you should look for him"

Y/n: "Then I shall when I'm back at Kuoh. You have my thanks"

Medea: ".. Why are you so different?"

Y/n: "Hm?"

Medea dropped her head momentarily while balling her hand.

Medea: "Why are you so different from back at Fuyuki? I understand you aren't him but.. you are his kin right? I mistaked you for him until I realized you weren't"

I look back once again as I sense an aura of pain around her.

Tamamo: "Medea..?"

Y/n: "Because I'm not my father. For as great as he was, I can also acknowledge his bad doings. Im sure you and him had some sort of event that has traumatized you.. I'm sorry for whatever he did"

She looked up to see the sincerity in my face as all I could do was apologize.

Y/n: "I know it isn't much but.. I hope you can still lend me a hand through all of this"

She appeared to have seen something unreal and quickly reverted back from her gloomy mood.

Medea: ".. You're right, you're not him. He would of never gazed into my eyes and apologized the way YOU did"

Y/n: "Just trying to do better I suppose"

Eucliwood: "Need me to help?"

Y/n: "Always"

I crack a smile as my queen stands beside me.

Medea: "Hm?"

Another glance back along with Eucliwood, we see that Medea was looking at us curiously.

Y/n: "Something wrong?"

Medea: "No.. it's just.. *chuckles* nevermind"

I nod and look back as Diehauser hasn't moved. I hold Eucliwood's hand as I plan the next move.

Tamamo: "What is it?"

Medea: "He just reminds me of someone"

Tamamo: "Who?'

Medea: "A kind boy that would always try his best. Someone who holds his loved ones close and risks his life for them"

Tamamo: "I see you've heard about his tales?"

Medea: "I did but I just couldn't really believe it. One who dons that name. Someone who bares that resemblance.. but I think I might start believing it"

Tamamo: "Because he held her hand?"

Medea: "Because he allows others to stand beside him"

She watched his back and smiled softly as Y/n finally decided to make his move.

Medea: "He'll make a hell of a King, Hero and Warrior"

Tamamo: "I'm sure he'll be an amazing husband as well~"

Medea: "U-Uh, sure. That too, I guess"

I let go of Eucliwood's hand as she takes on the challenge that is Yukari alongside the rest while I get the Belial King.

Y/n: "I guess it's time huh?"

Diehauser: "So it seems"
