Goetia: "It seems my bet was placed correctly. As expected"

He turns to see Y/n blasting Ea onto Kiara, but it wasn't just hitting her.

Goetia: "This seems troublesome. I suppose I'll find the perfect moment to strike. You should consider yourself lucky Y/n. Thanks to you, my bet was spot on. I'll sacrifice someone you love instead of killing you myself right now.. after all"

A portal opens behind him.

Goetia: "I have plans for you~"

He steps through and disappears into another world.

He walked up the steps and gathered 9 rings.

Goetia: "I'm still missing 1.. No matter, my plan will come to fruition regardless"

The world shook as it felt a powerful attack.

Goetia: "Hehe. So you have this much strength, Y/n?"

He smirked while he put the rings on his fingers.

Goetia: "Soon, I'll be back to my full power. To my true form"

He looked over to the hole in the sky.

Goetia: "Humanity's time has expired, and I'm the one to put an end to it"

He walked down the steps and opened a portal back to Earth, just as the Prince of Heroes fell out of a portal himself. He watched with a smile on his face as he is showered with love by those close to him.

Goetia: "Do you hate me now?"

Oda: "Mast-"

He smirked as his hand drove straight through Oda Nobunaga's chest. Everyone stood in shock, but non more than the King himself who was being helped up by the Demon King.

Goetia: "Tell me, just how much do you hate me?"

Y/n: "ODAAAA!!!"

I find myself in absolute darkness. After having lost again and again, I just couldn't take losing people anymore. Irisviel, Tiamat, Gilgamesh, Alter, Oda.. Everything was being taken away from me and I was powerless to do anything.

What's the point of having such powerful abilities if I can't protect anyone.. I couldn't bare it any longer.

Oda: "Master"

She falls into my arms as she smiles despite her injuries. I could see her aura releasing as she slowly began to dematerialize.

Oda: "I'm okay.."

Because of my weakened body, the two of us fell to the ground as Goetia laughed.

Goetia: "What's a King to a God?"

In that split second, I lost myself. I could not remember anything apart from my vision turning red as one thought repeated in my brain.

"Kill him.."

Goetia: "Good job in defeating Kiara"

"Kill him"

Goetia: "I knew betting on you was the option"

"Kill him!!"

Goetia: "For it, I decided not to kill you, just someone you love"

"KILL HIIIM!!!"

Goetia grinned as the King of Kuoh jumped to his feet and punched him with the full power of his Beast blood.

Y/n: "AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

He noticed his skin cracking as horns shot out from his head.

Goetia: "Yes. Convert yourself into a beast. Join me in the destruction of mankind!!"

Y/n: "AAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!"

The cries of pain and rage filled the destroyed city as Y/n's body went to attack the Beast.

Goetia: "*chuckles* His strength is increasing"

He quickly noticed the glare as a shot is fired directly from Y/n's eye. He quickly dodges it as it blows up the mountain and the terrain near it instantly.

Y/n: "RAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Goetia: "Just like that. Continue to let the blood of your mother feed on you. Feed until the new 8th Beast is born!!"

A kick to the stomach starts to push Goetia back. Despite it all, he looked happy.

Goetia: "Hm.. That being said, you're too exhausted"

He watched the body begin to break slowly.

Goetia: "I've implanted the seeds of your collapse. So long for now, Y/n"

The Prince of Heroes jumped to attack the King of Demon Gods. With a wave of his hand, Y/n is sucked into a void as he disappears to his temple.

Irisviel: "I love you"

*crack*

I hold onto my head as I could feel my body shatter.

Y/n: "AAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Tiamat: "Mama love you"

*crack*

Y/n: "*sob* STOP IT!!"

My body broke, and broke, and broke. The pain was unbearable, but it wasn't just physically hurtful.

Gilgamesh: "I want you to know.. That I'm proud.. of you"

*crack*

Y/n: "STOOOOOOP!!!"

Blood leaked from my eyes as the last ounces of my sanity began to leave my soul.

Y/n: "AAAAAAHH-!!"

I suddenly felt.. arms around me. I slowly looked up to see 3 heads behind me.

Tiamat: "You've been through so much, and at such a young age.."

Irisviel: "Braving it all.. our little boy"

They held onto me as the final parent walked over in front of me.

Gilgamesh: "The pressure of losing someone.. it hurts. I know it too well.. Y/n, listen to what have to say"

He puts his forehead to mine as they let out some words.

All 3: "DON'T GIVE UP!!"

Tiamat: "MY CHILD WILL NOT PERISH HERE!!"

Irisviel: "MY BOY WILL NOT BE FINISHED BY ANYONE!!"

Gilgamesh: "My son is not a failure"

I could feel their warmth. The cracking began to stop.

All 3: "We have faith in you, Y/n"

They move away slightly to reveal a teary child in the middle.

Gilgamesh: "A child shouldn't be burdened with this type of pressure, but.."

He put a hand over his head as the boy looked up to the father.

Gilgamesh: "Sometimes, we aren't incharge of the tasks put on us. Regardless, I believe in you"

Tiamat: "We all do"

Irisviel: "And we'll always be with you, even if it's not in the physical"

They all grab the crying boy's face as the stand together.

Gilgamesh: "It's time boy"

All 3: "WAKE UP!!"

Y/n's eyes open despite being unconscious. He takes out Empyrean Musashi and cuts two slashes into the void, releasing him to the real world.

Upon landing, my consciousness returns to me and I see everyone rush over to me. The few that weren't here were trying to find a way to save Oda.

Y/n: "Oda"

I move past everyone and kneel down next to her. Her legs were almost completely gone and she didn't look well.

Oda: "I've been holding on until you got here. Good thing I waited this long"

Y/n: "I'm sorry. I didn't even-"

She put a finger over my lips and smiled.

Oda: "It's alright. Nobody could pick up his aura"

She pulled out a rifle and gave it to me.

Oda: "That thing, I put an entire Noble Phantasm worth of mana into it. I also engraved it with my Anti Divine authority on it. It will one shot anything divine as you know"

I hold onto it as she struggles to throw herself into my arms.

Oda: "It was fun you know? Being here with you all.. You think you can fulfill my ambition? Take it even further past Japan?"

Y/n: ".. Of course. I am my father's child"

Oda: "That'll be fun!!"

She looked at her disappearing hand and smiled sadly.

Oda: "Looks like I don't have much time. *sighs* And here I just claimed you mine for a mere minute. Maybe some other time"

She leaned her head on my shoulder as she waited for the inevitable to happen.

Oda: "Use that.. use it an kill that bastard for me, will ya?"

Y/n: "Of course"

Oda: "I don't want you crying for me either. Just crack a few beers or some sake and remember me fondly, that'll be enough"

She pulled me away a bit as she looked me in the eyes.

Oda: "Ima miss seeing that pretty face. Thanks for being my master"

She used her remaining hand to extend her pinky to me.

Oda: "Promise to have another adventure again?"

Y/n: ".. Absolutely"

We lock fingers as she finally disappears.

Y/n: "Dammit.."

A few days later

The door to the King of Kuoh's meeting room opens as Sona Sitri walks in with some hand outs.

Sona: "Hello there"

Akagi: "Lady Sitri, you're a bold one"

Sona sat down next to Amagi as Akagi brought some tea for her.

Sona: "Thank you"

Amagi: "More work?"

Sona: "Just some things that require Y/n's signature. Some receipts for the materials required to fix the walls that were damaged, documents for expanding the Dingirs to the roof of the walls... and some more mail regarding the other nations"

Amagi: "They are still persistent?"

Sona: "Seems like they still wish to talk with Y/n. You don't just save the world from a massive beast, larger than the plant itself, which they could also see and not think that the rest of the world won't notice"

Amagi: "Fair enough"

Sona looked around but only saw the brains of the L/n peerage here.

Sona: "Where's everyone else?"

Siduri: "Ahri went to visit Lord Beelzebub for training. Amagi also joined them a few days ago"

Amagi: "I came back yesterday"

Sona: "What exactly did you went to learn from him if you don't mind me asking?"

Amagi: "I picked his brain regarding his military genius. On top of that, given that my only means of attack are my cannons, I went with him to help expand them into more powerful artillery"

Akagi: "He also created a special rifle for her meant to strike down the supernatural"

Amagi: "He's quite brilliant man"

Sona: "Lord Sirzechs holds him in high regard. What is Ahri learning from him?"

Amagi: "Ahri had developed a love for Alchemy recently but hasn't quite got down to the point of being usable in battle without drawbacks"

Amagi sipped from her tea as Akagi went to get some snack for the trio.

Amagi: "She can't quite control what she does. Ahri is quite strong as you know, especially with Commander supplying her with limitless mana. She went to Lord Beelzebub to see if there was anyway he could aid her"

Sona: "As I mentioned, Lord Beelzebub is a genius. I'm sure he can help her with her training"

Akagi: "My sister is currently accompanying X and Mordred"

Sona: "What are they doing?"

Akagi: "Doing their jobs. Well, my sister is doing our job. They are commanding our military at the moment"

Sona: "They are?"

Mordred watched as enemy demons were rushing towards the army of Kuoh.

Mordred: "These are our tactics that Amagi gave us"

Soldier: "General Mordred, orders!!"

Mordred: "Let them enter the center of the field. We have our back up ready. Tell our snipers to be ready for when I give the cue!!"

Soldier: "Yes ma'am!!"

He ran of as Mordred picked up Clarent and mounted a horse with a special armor, filled to the brim with enchantments to protect it from being hurt.

The men behind her were equipt with specially enchanted weapons that were meant to kill demons and the supernatural.

Mordred: "ON MY MARK!!"

She lifted her sword up as the more than 100 warriors behind her readied themselves.

Upon entering the field, the number of demons was exponentially higher than the humans. Totalling in the thousands, the warriors had to steel their nerves infront of the face of Goliath.

Mordred: "REMEMBER, WE AREN'T ALONE!! UNITED, WE WILL TRIUMPH!!"

She pointed forward as a red dot hit the middle.

Mordred: "Bullseye"

Fighter jets flew over their head and began firing their weapons to thin the horde. Ontop of a B2 bomber, X was standing without any trouble.

X: "Team A, pull up and ready yourselves at the next point. Your mission isn't over yet"

Pilot: "Of course general X. You heard the boss lady boys"

6 of the jets fly off as the remaining looked behind the trees.

X: "The rest, that's our enemy"

5 giants rose from the ground as X looked back to Mordred.

X: "Hold on a bit more"

The jets flew off as Mordred held her position.

Mordred: "Ready"

The sound of powerful artillery was heard as bombs dropped on the demons that were still in the field.

From across the forest, in the ocean, Kaga watched as the cannons of one of her battleships.

Kaga: "Normally, this would be sister's job but I guess she is busy"

Sailor: "Captain, one of the beasts is approaching 10'o clock!!"

She turned to see a massive fin.

Kaga: "*sighs* Fire one more barrage, then turn all fire towards it. I'm sure it isn't alone either"

She was ontop of a unmanned carrier as she walks to the edge. Her fleet consisted of 2 extra carriers, 1 battleship, 3 destroyers and a submarine.

Kaga: "I'll distract it for now"

The carrier disappears and turns into her weapon as she sprints off towards the monster. From the other side, Team A arrived to provide some back up.

Kaga: "Just another day in our new job"

Back at the forest, Mordred charged up Clarent as she readied the Noble Phantasm.

Mordred: "GO!!!"

The men opened fire as she brought down her weapon, taking out hundreds in the process.

Mordred: "CHARGE!!"

She led the attack as armored vehicles followed behind her. Her men mobilized shortly after as they took on the remaining demons.

Sona: "Eucliwood?"

Amagi: "She is with Isla and Heracles. She needed some time off after carrying Commander's duties recently"

Sona: ".. Is he.."

Amagi: "He tried his best to continue but collapsed a few days ago. It seems that he still hasn't stomached the loss of 2 more people. Astarte and Kama went with Azazel to fully reach an alliance with the Kyoto Faction and the Shinto in general"

Sona: "I see, it's good that more relations are being made. I just hope Y/n can bounce back"

Amagi: "He will. He just needs something to bring him back to his feet"

I sat on the edge of my bed as I look down to the ground. I wasn't crying anymore nor was I planning on it. I've lost more people again because I was weak.

I couldn't shake off that feeling as I felt useless and powerless to stop Goetia and Kiara from taking Oda and Irisviel.

Y/n: "I'm not strong enough.."

I don't know what it was that made me get out of bed, but I did and stepped out of my room.

I walked through the hallways, pondering to myself what I could of done to save them all. I clutch the scarf Irisviel made for me and cover my face more as it felt warm.

I must not have been paying attention as it seemed that I had left the house without thinking and was at the harbor the next second.

Y/n: "You're too distracted Y/n"

X: "Master?"

X arrived from a battle it seemed as the carriers docked in the harbor for inspection.

X: "I'm glad to see you doing better"

Y/n: "I wish I was.. Sorry"

She shook her head and patted mine.

X: "Gilgamesh left me incharge of you. Don't be sorry, count on me when you need someone, okay?"

I nodded as she looked over to see the faces of her pilots.

X: "We succeeded. Once again, another victory without a single loss or destruction of any weapon"

Y/n: "Good job"

I watched as the crew unloaded their supplies. All of them looked exhausted.

Y/n: "..."

I don't know why, but my legs decided to carry me over to them while X stayed back. She was puzzled but simply thought that I was just going to celebrate their victory.

Man: "Y-Your highness?!"

The man incharge of the inspections was surprised by my visit and immediately bowed, alerting the rest of the crew.

Man: "W-What brings you here?!"

Y/n: "I own it. I can't pass?"

Man: "OF COURSE NOT!! Feel free to do as you please!!"

He was nervous as I walked in and watched as a younger boy, about my age, was struggling to carry his weight on the work.

Y/n: "..."

My gaze must have been too much as he dropped the bag he was carrying.

Boy: "I-I'm sorry your highness, please forgive me for dropping your precious supplies"

An older man, I presumed was his father, bowed down next to him.

Man: "Forgive my boy your highness, he was just a little-"

I walked forward and picked it up, putting it in the cart next to it.

Y/n: "Rise up. There is work to do"

Man: "Huh?"

I walked past them and noticed that the atmosphere was dead. I walked over to the group that was passing the bags from the ship and onto a forklift holding a barrel.

Man: "Your high-"

I take his bag and toss it into the large barrel.

Y/n: "Keep it going"

Man: "You don't have to-"

Y/n: "Are you going to make me repeat myself?"

I glared at him as he immediately turned to his work.

X: "So this is your distraction?"

Everyone was tense as I began to work with them. I figured there had to be a way to eliminate it. It was too quiet as well. That's when I remembered a certain tune I used to listen to when it came to hard labor.

Y/n: "*whistling*"

The sound of the men working on the welding of the boat, the sound of the men striking the metal began to sound all too familiar.

Some of the boy's must have liked it as they began to follow, the number of whistles increasing slowly.

Y/n: "*humming*"

The muscles began to ache after not working hard in days, but I enjoyed it. That's when it began to hit me. I was smiling again without realizing it.

Y/n: "Cold, the air and water flowing"

I chuck the bag over as the forklift leaves and another replaces it.

Y/n: "Hard, the place we call our home"

The process continues as the vibe in the harbor begins to change. Excitement filled the area as more smiles were around. Perhaps it was the fact that their King was dedicating himself to aiding even those who thought themselves as nothing really important.

Y/n: "Push, to keep the dark from coming. Feel the weight of what we owe"

I threw the bag over as our speed began to increase.

Y/n: "This, the song of sons and daughters. Hide, the heart of who we are"

From outside, X was happy as the King didn't look as depressed anymore.

Mordred: "Father- Is that Master?"

X: "Yes. I guess it isn't just those who are close to him that can break him out of that shell. His people can too"

Slowly, people began to pick up on the song and sang together with their King. Perhaps he used a skill to help them know it? Perhaps it was his charisma?

Y/n: "Making peace to build our future"

The crowd joined immediately.

Y/n: "STRONG, UNITED, WORKING TIL WE FALL"

All: "Cold, the air and water flowing!!"

The manager of the harbor began to record while his face was in complete amazement.

Manager: "So this is the power of a King that loves his people?"

The other heads of the harbor began to sing along slowly as the final chorus lead to the remaining supplies still on the boat.

All: "AND WE AAAALL LIFT!! AND WE'RE AAALL ADRIFT, TOGETHEEER!! TOGETHEEEEER!!"

Manager: "THIS IS OUR KING!!"

X: "No, this is our Kuoh"

All: "THROUGH THE COLD MIST!!! TIL WE'RE LIFELESS!! TOGETHEEERR!! TOGETHEEEERRRR!!"

The humming signaled the end as the final bag was thrown into the barrel. A loud burst of cheers and celebrations were heard as the men lifted the Prince of Heroes to the sky.

I smiled again as I lifted my fist to the sky.

Y/n: "Congratulations. ALL OF YOU!!"

X: "Welcome back, Master"

My Clairvoyance activated as I saw 5 individuals looking at me.

Gilgamesh: "Not bad"

Tiamat: "That's our child!!"

Irisviel: "I'm proud of you"

Oda: "ON TO UNIFYING!!"

Alter: "Hmph, looks like you aren't a lost cause this time"

They all had proud expressions as I sticked my thumb out.

Y/n: "I won't lose again. I have to make sure those smiles are permanent from now on"
