What's good everybody. We are finally at the end of Vol 2. God I'm going to need some rest from this series for a bit before Vol 3, maybe finish one of the other books. Idk. Anyways, next chapter is gonna be a little "QnA" type of thing [regarding this book] that I'd like to answer. You know, shit you might be wondering about. I'd also like to know some of your favorite moments in this Volume and what not. Some things you liked and what character did you like the most in this one. Y/n: "Hm?"

I couldn't tell exactly what happened. All I can last remember was closing the Dimensional Gap.. and now I was here, but where exactly is here?

Y/n: "Odd. I would of thought people die when they are killed?"

I was floating somewhere outside of what I know and couldn't quite describe it. Out in the distance though, I noticed a bright light. I couldn't help but want to try and reach it but..

Y/n: "Too far"

I couldn't tell how long I was here for or what the hell I was falling to. The though of not knowing what would happen to me and not having the power to even control my surroundings made me feel uneasy.

Y/n: "But if it was to save them.. then I will 100 percent will accept this as my life now"

Beside that feeling, it didn't feel all to bad. Everything was completely silent. This is the peace I once sought after before becoming Gilgamesh's vessel.

....

Y/n: "I wonder how everyone else is doing?"

Despite not feeling any exhaustion from my previous battle and use of Noble Phantasms, I couldn't activate anything. I was out from the Genesis Mystic Code and was half naked.

Y/n: "Not the way I pictured myself and the afterlife looking like once I died but I guess things aren't what they seem most times"

I continue floating in this endless void of nothing.. well, apart from light to my side.

Y/n: "Wasn't I supposed to have died or something? I still feel very much alive. Gilgamesh"

I couldn't get a response as I groan, annoyed that I really couldn't do anything.

Y/n: "I don't get why I'm still breathing or why my body has disintegrated. Perhaps my body adjusted to this place while I was unconscious? That sounds like an ass pull.. but I wouldn't know"

I look around and really take in the situation I found myself in.

Y/n: "This quite annoying but.. Oh well, I lived a good life"

I could feel the light slowly get brighter for some odd reason.

Y/n: "What in the-?!"

Y/n: "Now that I think about it? Was I just shot out into space or something like that? No. I would of been able to see other galaxies and stars, but this one's the only one"

The light began to get ever so slightly bigger by the second which alarmed me. If it was a star or something of that nature, I'd be screwed seeing as I could not pull any weapons.

Y/n: "Come Y/n, think of something"

As I thought of plans to avoid it, my hand attempted to draw anything it could to fire at it.

Y/n: "How the hell can I deal with that and not somehow endanger the rest in the process? What if Ea blasts a hole in space again and I'm not there to take care of it?"

The star had gotten much larger as I could see it get closer.

Y/n: "Back the fuck up!! I have an EA!!... Any minute now, so just give me a sec"

It did not listen.

Y/n: "Why did I think that would work is beyond me. COME ON!!"

I try to force open a gate but it refused to work. That was until I noticed something hanging by my hip.

Y/n: "Huh? When did you get there?"

My Musashi was by my side as I brought out infront of me.

Y/n: "Okay, maybe I don't have Ea but I got something pretty fucking close to it!!"

I drew the sword out of the scabbard at readied myself for the incoming star.

Y/n: "Here we go again partner. Empyrean!!"

I bring the sword to my side until the light reached its brightest.

Y/n: "MUSASHI!!!"

I swing my sword once again and brace for impact.

*clink*

I waited for something to burn or shatter but all I heard was my katana hitting something made of steel. I had my eyes closed so I didn't know what the hell it was.

"So this is the way you reached Zero? What an interest individual you are"

Y/n: "Huh?"

I was nervous to look but my curious mind wouldn't let me not see who that was. I opened my eyes and saw a girl in a white kimono and a blue belt wrapped around, blocking my attack with a sword of her own.

Y/n: "Who are you?"

"You ask me for my name when you arrived at a place you do not own?"

Y/n: "Uh.. You got a point there"

I slowly begin to draw back my sword to not show any hostile intentions.

Y/n: "Guess I should introduce myself? I'm Y/n Gilgamesh L/n. I'm the child of King Gilgamesh, the of Uruk. I am also son of Tiamat, she is known as Beast 2 but if you say that, I'll kill you. And the child of Irisviel, basically the Holy Grail itself"

She tilted her head in confusion as I try to think of something to say.

Y/n: "I know. Fate is quite the confusing thing. A wise man once said don't worry about it"

I take a look around and see that the area around me was a bleak, white nothingness. I guess it was better than the dark, bleak nothingness from before since there was someone actually here now.

Y/n: "So who are you?"

"I rather not say, it isn't of any importance"

Y/n: "Then the hell do I call you?!"

"[ ] works"

Y/n: "NO IT DOESN'T!!! *sighs* I'll just call you white lady- No, that was what father called mom.. Hmm"

I take a better look at her to see if I could find anything to give me a clue.

"*sighs* Aren't you irritating?"

Y/n: "Well, if I'm going to spend my eternity in this place, why not get along"

"Do you have any idea where you are?"

Y/n: "Not in the slightest"

"You've reached the root. You've reached Akasha and I am the one that's connected to it"

Y/n: "SO THAT WAS YOUR NAME!!"

".. You're an idiot"

Y/n: "I may be an idiot but atleast I ain't dense"

".. I'll explain how much of a miracle you just pulled off-"

Y/n: "Eh, not interested"

I sit down on the ground before laying down and closing my eyes.

"What? That is the goal of every mage-"

Y/n: "I'm not interested. I'm no mage either. I'm a king"

"To make it here and not even want to gain the knowledge of the 5 true magic.. it isn't something I'd ever see.."

??: "*chuckles* Quite the interesting one you are"

I heard another voice and got somewhat excited in the inside about potentially having another person to speak with.

??: "I'm someone who knows a lot more about you than even you do"

Y/n: "Is that so?"

"It's you again"

??: "Hello there. I've got some business to speak with that boy for now. I'll be taking my leave shortly after"

"Very well"

I get up and walk over to the man who seemed heavily interested in me.

??: "You. You're quite the individual Y/n. Out of all possibilities, you are the single one to end up in this outcome"

Y/n: "Possibilities? What are you talking about?!"

??: "I am a man that reads countless timeliness. I've seen everything you can and will accomplish. I've seen you achieve your dreams and fall to evil. Anything that is a possibility, I have witnessed it.. but this is the only one that I've seen arrive here"

Y/n: "I still don't see what's so great about this place"

??: "This is the center of everything that happens in the cosmos of timelines and dimensions and such. This is the Root of everything"

The entirety of everything was nothing though.

??: "As I said, I've witnessed everything you will do. I've seen you slay gods, I've seen you summon alien gods, I've seen you destroy the world too.. But as I mention before, this timeline has something odd about you"

Y/n: "And what exactly is it? The fact I can use my mother's Beast powers-?"

??: "A version of you summons and falls in a paternal relationship with the same beast you just took out"

Y/n: "HUH?!"

??: "It isn't about what you have in your body.. but what you are capable of creating"

He looks at my blade and asks for it. I was hesitant but I end up lending it to him.

??: "A sword capable of cutting into the void itself.. you don't understand just how phenomenal that is"

Y/n: "Sounds important"

??: "It's something so outlandish that it's simply impossible.. but here we are"

Y/n: "I have to credit the fact that I sacrificed 10 percent of an infinite void of mana, Ophis who quite literally gave me infite power, and the Holy Grail asking the Greater Grail to buff it for me.. doesn't sound too impressive now does it?"

??: "You'd be surprised. Now you are here, in the void with nothing but this weapon in hand, and haven't disappeared or been destroyed"

Y/n: "I don't understand it either. Father's Spirit Core said I'd die but I guess that was a lie"

??: "Regardless. This sword might just be capable of doing many impossible feats. I'd treasure it for sure young man. I'm sure even the Throne of Heroes might have a tough time putting restrictions on it if you ever are summoned to a Holy Grail or even as a Grand Servant"

Y/n: "Wait, Throne of Heroes? But how am I even there? I'm not dead yet"

??: "Your legacy up to now is far too great to not be there, continuing to be written as you complete more impossible tasks. Think, you've slain 2 Beasts, battled God's, unified entire factions of supernatural beings and even became king. That's a hell of a resume if you ask me. It helps that you are still young too"

Y/n: "Sounds good and all but.. I don't know. My brain doesn't care to know any of this and simply-"

Something crosses my mind as I think back to my friends.

??: "Seems like it is that time. I'll be taking off now. Y/n, think you have what it takes to create the 6th Magic?"

Y/n: "I don't care for it!! I haven't something else I need to do!!"

??: "*chuckles* I can tell where this will go. So long for now Y/n"

He disappears as I grab the girl by the shoulders.

Y/n: "How do I get out of here?!"

"You cannot leave. It isn't allowed-"

Y/n: "THE HELL WITH THE RULES!! I still need to go and defeat Goetia"

"But you are in no state to-"

Y/n: "I'll bring him down when I see him. It's what I'm supposed to do"

I could see her almost pouting while looking away.

"I-"

Y/n: "Isn't it quite lonely here?"

"Huh?"

It hadn't really occurred to me that since I had just gotten here, and she was already here, that this person had probably been in this place for quite some time.

Y/n: "Is that why you pouted?"

"I did not!!"

Y/n: "Wow, that's the first time I've seen emotion out of you.. Why don't you leave this place?"

"I am the connection to the Root. I am not allowed to leave this place"

Y/n: "Seems pretty boring if you ask me.. Urgh.. I guess I did take over my father's job of being the Overseer of Humanity"

I put a hand on her shoulder and look her in the eyes with a stern look.

Y/n: "You are connected to this Root thing, correct?"

"Y-Yes"

Y/n: "Alright. As the King of all Humans, it technically is my job to Oversee all of them"

"But-"

Y/n: "That includes you!! I'll make you a deal. If you send me back to Earth, I promise to come visit you when you get lonely or whatever. Don't do it every second!! I have a Kingdom to take care of"

"Wait-"

Y/n: "If I can use my gates, I'll even bring you some of those new gadgets the newer kids use. What are they called? SP5 and Y-Box?.. Why do I sound old? What do you say? Deal?"

I extend a hand to her which leaves her confused.

Y/n: "I'll even let you be like a subordinate of mine in my kingdom or whatever.. or a friend I guess. You choose"

"F-Friend?.."

Y/n: "Yea, I'll be your friend then. Do we have a deal?"

She had a sweet smile all of a sudden as she took my hand with joy.

"O-Okay.. Friend then"

Y/n: "Good. Now, how do I get out of here?"

"Lend me your sword"

Y/n: "Another one? I'm sure Ophis is gonna be next one to ask like how she wanted to borrow Ea. Here"

I hand it to her as she pulls out the Musashi from her scabbard.

"Normally, I shouldn't do this but.. I'll do it.. for a friend"

She did some weird shit to my sword before sheathing it and handing it back to me.

"With it, you will now be able to cut through space. That way you can go to wherever you want, including here"

Y/n: "Great, now it's just the Yamato. I can sense a motivated swordsman claiming copyright all of a sudden.. I'll take it though"

I cut the space infront of me and see the world I had just left.

Y/n: "Well mysterious girl in a kimono, call me when you wish to talk again then-"

"Shiki!!"

Y/n: "Huh?"

I had half my body on the other side as I turn back to her.

Shiki: "Call me Shiki, friend"

I fall through as the portal closes shortly after.

??: "The 6th Magic. Reality travel"

Y/n: "OOF!!"

I fall to the ground as my body feels an extreme amount of fatigue and pain.

Y/n: "Right.. I fought at max power"

Mordred: "MASTER!!"

I can move just enough to see my knight and queen rushing to my side.

Y/n: "Hey you 2"

They jump into my arms as the rest follow suit.

Y/n: "It's great to see all of you again- Hm?"

As the 2 sobbed in my chest, I put a hand on the scarf around my neck and feel the warmth coming from it. It was.. soothing.

Y/n: "Thank you for allowing me to be your son, mom"

Ahri: "MASTER!!"

All I saw was fluffy tails and big boobs jumping on me as Ahri, Akagi and Kaga jumped the 3 of us.

Oda: "*coughs* Seems like he pulled through"

Asia: "Please be careful, your wounds are healed but you still aren't in shape to do much"

Oda: "I'll keep it noted"

She walked over to me and put her forehead on mine as I could see a few tears had ran down her face.

Oda: "Good to have ya back your highness~"

Y/n: "Good to see you too"

Oda: "Hm.. Issei, what did you say before?"

Issei: "To never leave anything you'll regret behind"

Oda: "I like it!! I'll regret nothing!!"

She grabbed my face and abruptly did something I did not expect.

Mordred: "HAAA?!"

Ophis: "Another one for the harem~"

Ahri: "I KNEW YOU HAD A THING FOR HIM!!!"

Oda: "AHAHAHA!!! I've taken what I like!! I've taken something from the man that claims he has everything-!!"

Y/n: "Wouldn't that imply that I own your lips now?"

Oda: "EH?"

Akagi: "He's unconsciously done it again"

Y/n: "What?"

Ophis and Akagi both smile smugly while fist bumping.

Y/n: "WHAT?!"

Ophis/Akagi: "The bloodline shall continue~"

Oda: "So my lips belong to you now?"

Y/n: "Well if you claim mine then obviously I have to claim yours too"

Mordred: "He doesn't realize it.."

I could see she was slightly red while trying to show that she wasn't.

Oda: "*clears throat* A-Anyways!! I think it's time we went back home. I'm sure Amagi and the rest are waiting for your return Master"

Y/n: "Sure-"

I managed to get myself up but found it troubling to stay upright.

Oda: "I'll help you"

Oda threw my arm over her shoulder as she helped me walk by pulling out a rifle and handing it to me.

Oda: "Use that to help yourself from the other side"

Mordred: "I'm so ready for a long, warm shower"

Ahri: "I'm just ready for all of us to finally have a dinner together again. You will be cooking it too, right Master~?"

Y/n: "*sighs* It sure looks like it"

Sirzechs: "Y/n, you did a fantastic job. You are truly a special child"

Azazel: "Why don't we get you something to eat? I'm sure you're hungry"

Y/n: "I'll gladly take it"

I felt something odd the entire way to the temple where everyone else was. I couldn't quite explain it but it was.. eerie. Perhaps I was just loosing it and just needed some rest.

Y/n: "I'm missing something.."

"Do you hate me now?"

Oda: "Hey Mast-?"

My eyes widen at the sudden action that my brain couldn't even respond to it.

Mordred: "..."

Azazel: "Huh?"

A hand had driven through Oda's chest as a man was standing right behind her.

"Tell me, just how much you hate me?"

Y/n: "ODAAA!!!"
