Kiara and I stare at one another, never once taking each other's eyes from our target.

Y/n: "Let's end this"

I was wielding the original Ea in one hand and Empyrean Musashi in my other.

Kiara: "I won't lose even if you kill me~"

She let go of her wound and stuck her hands out.

Kiara: "Do you think you were the only one getting prepared?"

Y/n: "No"

I grip my weapons in my hands as I take a deep breath. With a moment of silence, we take off at the same time and attack.

I use the scabbard to deflect her attack as Ea charges an ounce of her power.

Y/n: "Enuma Elish!!"

I fire a shot that shakes the Earth as I manage to take out her arm and part of her right side.

Kiara: "Heaven's-!!"

Y/n: "EMPYREAN MUSASHI!!"

I release the sword in mid air before swiftly drawing the katana and slicing her Noble Phantasm in half, shutting it closed before quickly sheathing it back into its scabbard that hadn't fallen to the ground.

*click*

Another slash forces Kiara to back up as a smile remains on her face.

Kiara: "So you've shut down my Noble Phantasm? Cute"

She blitz me once more with multiple hits to my stomach, back and upper body before I use Ea's winds to blow her away.

Y/n: "New tactic"

I put the sheath on my mouth as I draw the sword out.

Y/n: "Let's try this"

We run to one another again as our attacks collide. With each hit, the world shook over and over as we focused our attention on killing one another.

That's when I noticed Gasper's time stop magic fall.

Kiara: "And now you all-!!"

Y/n: "EMPYREAN MUSASHI!!"

I cut the ground beneath me as the slash reaches her mana and "kills".

Y/n: "No. We aren't dying"

I rush her once more as we continue throwing everything we could at one another.

Kiara: "Black Hole!!"

Y/n: "ENUMA ELISH!!"

I fire the Noble Phantasm straight into it and close it shut as the one armed Kiara looked more exhausted than she ever did.

Kiara: "Just how much more energy do you have?!"

Y/n: "Enough to last until I kill you"

I could no longer tap into my mother's powers at the moment and I couldn't open a gate if I wanted to.. all I had now was the weapons at my side and my physical strength and endurance.

Y/n: "You don't look so good either"

She popped out 10 arms from her missing limb as she smiled.

Kiara: "Even if I lose a limb, I'll just regrow some more. You? You lose them for good. On top of that~"

She began to sprout 6 other copies ahead of me.

Kiara: "I can still spawn more~"

They all charged my way is a got angry.

Y/n: "Sending me copies? How dare you underestimate me!!"

I put the tip of Ea in the first's mouth and blow her upper body off as the next one jumped me from the side. I push it away with Ea's wind and decapitate it with my Empyrean Musashi.

Y/n: "I am the Beast Slayer!! If I lose to a copy, there's no way I should ever own that title again!!"

I jump over the third's attack and swiftly dodge the fourth as I point Ea at them.

Y/n: "ENUMA ELISH!!"

The blast annihilates the 2 in an instant. Just as I finished them off the final 2 take their chances with their spears which Empyrean Musashi slices them away.

I drop back and move before more could get the chance to impale me.

Kiara copy: "Mine~!!"

She went for the head but I had already seen this happening. With one clean swipe upwards, I cut her into 2 just as the last one tries to go for my heart. I sheath my sword and close my eyes, focusing all of my concentration on my next attack.

Kiara copy: "RESIGN YOURSELF TO DEATH!!!"

Y/n: "Empyrean.."

With a flick of the black out of its sheath, I was already behind her with the sword out once more.

Y/n: "Musashi!!"

*click*

The last copy is sliced in half and killed as I stood in front of the real Kiara.

Kiara: "Dammit!!"

She goes to attack me with her fake arms as I block every attack with the sheathed Musashi. She stomps on the floor to make me lose balance and spears shoot out again.

I refuse to move and some actually land but not all.

Kiara: "I was expecting you to dodge!!"

Y/n: "Enuma-!!"

She drops into the ground to avoid the Noble Phantasm to the face. I slice the spears off me as I look around for her next move.

Kiara: "Die!!"

I dodge her attack from beneath me and swing my katana at her but she managed to catch it with her hand.

Kiara: "My turn!!"

She knees me in the stomach which shoots blow out of my mouth.

Y/n: "ENUMA-!!"

Kiara: "I cannot allow that!!"

She uses her hands to hold Ea down to the planet.

Kiara: "Go on~ SHOOT!!"

She continues to knee me in the stomach until I muster the energy to headbutt her in the face.

Y/n: "AAAAAHHHH!!!"

I bite her throat and chomp down on it hard enough until I ripped her windpipe off. Kiara's mouth began to spill blood out but was regenerating due to it not having been cut by my sword.

Y/n: "I cannot lose!!"

I jump back with her and propel myself into her jaw, causing her to loosen up a little as I use Ea's winds to blow her back enough to use Empyrean Musashi to hack her right eye and left horn off.

Kiara: "AAAAAAAAHHH!!!"

She blasts me away by shooting the ground beneath us as she holds onto her face in pain.

Y/n: "*coughs* Just a bit more.. Just a little more"

I struggle getting myself up as I notice the sly grin on Kiara's face growing bigger by the second.

Kiara: "It's should be ready.. any minute now"

Y/n: "What are you on about?"

Kiara looks up at me and extends her arms out.

Kiara: "If I can't kill you here.. I know he'll just do it anyways.. In the state I'm in. I can't regenerate. I can't see well. I'm exhausted despite having limitless mana.. I'm near the ends of my limit.. but still"

She began to laugh to herself as she pointed in my direction.

Kiara: "I don't plan on giving you the satisfaction of killing me.. not again!! Hehehe!! I'm planning on taking you all out with me!!! THIS WHOLE UNIVERSE!!!"

She glanced slightly to see that Goetia had left his place and smiled smugly.

Kiara: "I see. You've officially seen the mistake you made in choosing him over me. I would of let you join my team if you weren't so stubborn"

Y/n: "I have no interest in joining you. You killed my mother, you killed my friends and you're threatening to destroy MY world. You were my enemy the moment you stepped foot in this universe"

She smiled as she spoke to the two with her words.

Kiara: "Y/n, you won't be able to stop it. It's game over for you"

Y/n: "Not unless I kill you first!!"

I start running to her as my path suddenly turned to flowers.

Y/n: "Huh?"

Merlin: "In the path of victory only that which you seek as your goal will my Noble Phantasm guide. Finish it and attain that which you seek Y/n"

I could sense my legs feeling the strength to continue, my arms the power to cut her as I smirk.

Y/n: "Empyrean-!!"

Spears strike me all across my body but I ignore the pain. This was the only chance to finally end this.

Kiara: "SHIT!!"

I appear right before Kiara who uses her fake arms to take the brunt of the damage while creating a massive ball of energy to hit me straight in the heart.

Kiara: "Checkmate"

Y/n: "ELISH!!"

Kiara: "WHAT?!"

Rather than swinging the sword that I had pulled back, I had the barrel of Ea pointed directly at her.

*BLAST*

Kiara: "AAAAAAAHHH!!!"

I watched as I poured more power into it. I watched as she slowly began to shatter before my eyes.

Kiara: "NO!!! NOT LIKE THIS!! NOT BY YOU AGAIN!!! NOT BY THAT SAME BARREL AGAIN!!"

She spoke again, those same words.. again. What exactly did she mean?

Kiara looked up to the sky and shot many hands out of her body in every direction, some that even pierced my body and others that traveled towards the sky.

Y/n: "This is the end"

As she began disappearing, she laughed as she saw something that made her hopeful.

Kiara: "I won't be able to see it.. but my hands will destroy you!!!"

She finally disappeared after forcing Ea to fire more power to completely eradicat her.

Y/n: "Urgh!! Finally-"

*crack*

I look up to see that the sky had a crack in it. From it the hands that Kiara had fired, which were disintegrating, forced it open.

Kiara: "My final gift to you, the Dimensional Gap~"

I heard her voice just as they disappeared and realized the severity of using Ea at the power I did.

Y/n: "Fuck-!!"

Everything suddenly began to start getting sucked into it as I used a command spell to charge myself with enough mana to open gates.

Y/n: "ENKIDU!!"

The Chains of Heaven shot up to hold everyone to the ground as I tried to figure out what to do to close it.

Vehicles, building rubble, corpses all went into the rift in space and immediately get destroyed.

Y/n: "What the hell do I do?!"

I looked into the massive hole as I tried looking for something to fix it with.

Y/n: "ARGGH!! DAMMIT!!"

"Why was I so stupid?!.. This is what had to be done to kill her but why?!"

Y/n: "I have to close it.. but my mana"

I looked at the chains holding me in place as they slowly start to release mana, meaning they wouldn't be able to hold on for long.

Y/n: "There's got to be a way. Ea? No. That sword is meant to delete and obliterate. To blow open.."

I look at my Empyrean Musashi as I take notice of it some more.

Y/n: "If they are meant to be Yin and a Yang. My weapon and my fathers.. If one if meant to open.. then the other must be used to close. One destroys and one cuts. If Ea blew the sky open, then Musashi must be the one to close it"

I look at the massive hole that was the size of Kyoto itself. Part of the reason why Kiara could not regenerate was because Musashi "killed" her healing properties in that specific area. If I can "kill" the hole in the sky..

Y/n: "I might be able to close it.. but I need mana to close it.. Wait"

I close my eyes as I open the vault to Babylon in my head.

Y/n: ".. To grow my own legacy. To have to stop relying on everything I inherited from my father. I created my own spells"

I grab some of the treasures Gilgamesh had collected during his time alive and left in his infinite treasury.

Y/n: "I'm going to have to sacrifice some of these treasures. They all contain mana in them"

I open my eyes as I send Ea back to Babylon.

Mordred: "MASTER!!!"

I look over to see everyone struggling to hold on.

Y/n: "I am the King that replaces the former. I am the Prince that takes up the throne. I will rule with a golden fist and write my name in history as the King of Heroes before me. To cut myself from his legacy, to make my own, I must sacrifice what he gained in order for a new start. The end of an Era must be had to bring thr start of a new. AGE OF A NEW BABYLON!!!"

I could sense a powerful burst of mana at the palm of my hands.

Y/n: "Sacrifice 10 percent of the vault. Infuse with my sword"

The surge in mana made my fingers numb as it felt greater and heavier than I could of imagined.

"Y/N, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"

I could hear Gilgamesh's Spirit Core talking to me once more as I find in between dead and live.

Y/n: "I have to close.. the hole"

I was suffering constant attacks to my body as it could not contain all of the mana trying to force itself in. I was barely keeping myself conscious by holding my weapon ahead of me.

"YOU HAVE TO STOP!! With that much power.. YOU'LL CUT THE VOID!!"

Y/n: "I don't give a rats ass what that is.. I have to.. for them!!"

The chain releases me as I fall upwards towards the hole into the Dimensional Gap.

"Y/N!!! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!! IF YOU DO THAT-!!"

Y/n: "Empyrean!!"

I pull the sword out as I bring it upwards to the sky. It shined brighter than any star as the super charged Noble Phantasm reached its peak.

"YOU'LL DIE!!"

Y/n: "MUSASHI!!!"

With a slash, the light quickly vanished along with hole.

Sirzechs: "Huh?"

They all fell to the ground as the chain that was holding them disappeared the moment the Noble Phantasm was released.

The group looks to the sky and sees the rip in space gone.

Cao Cao: "He did it.."

Celebrations would be on hold as everyone had a thought on their mind.

Mordred: "Yea, but.. where is he?"

Eucliwood: "Y/n?.."

Hello there, the author speaking as the letters A and N indicate, this is the Author's Note. Now that the obvious part is out of the way. I thought I'd give you all a little abrupt heads up. The next chapter will be the final chapter of Volume 2. It's been a long wrap up to this story and one that I've been grinding rather hard for now that I actually have time to write more consistently again. I will be leaving another "Q and A" type thing like I did with the last Volume to get a feel for what you guys liked and whatnot. *sighs* Another break from writing this book so I can focus on the next Volume. Anywho, I hope you all don't hate me too much for leaving yall in another cliffhanger but the next chapter should be out relatively soon (later today). Ya boy needs sleep. Anyways, like the old way of ending this message this, I hope ye enjoy :)
