The Kingdom of Kuoh had gone through a terrifying experience about a week and a half ago. The people were attacked by supernatural beings from the darkest of places. Demons that broke through the walls that surrounded them and destroyed homes. Yet, they walked around freely, almost as if nothing happened.

A group of children kicked around a ball in the park without a care in the world as some construction workers overlooked a blueprint regarding a massive crater a few yards away from them.

Man: "We can fill it in later after we finish up connecting all the pipelines that were destroyed"

Across from them, a man offered all of the citizens half off on any dishes they ordered. He wasn't the only one though, as the rest of the restaurants did the same. This was all a plan formulated by the heads of the Gilgamesh L/n cabinet, Amagi and Siduri. They offered to pay half of everything that the customers would order so that they would keep themselves occupied while Kuoh rebuilt.

Schools were given the day off so that children could spend the day with their friends and family. Workers were also given the day off, should they wish to, or work and get paid triple the amount for the day. Of course, the King would pay the other 2/3rds himself.

Man: "*sighs* Finally, a day off. Maybe I can finally order from that sushi place the boss always recommended?"

The city saw a growth in financial movement and rise in happiness from within the walls. Life seemed like it didn't miss a beat..

Kuoh Academy student council room

A girl in glasses looked exhausted while filing through paper work and notes. She had large stacks of papers all over her desk along with constant notifications on her computer, phone and laptop. Behind her, a bulletin board with more notes and strings that connected with one another had a picture of an individual.

The door to the room opened as two familiar individuals walk in.

Saji: "Sona?"

He looked over to the couch and saw the queen to the Sitri peerage asleep with bags under her eyes.

Sona: "She fell unconscious after finishing her work.. let her rest. You got something besides more paper work?"

Saji: "We've scoured all around the outside of Kuoh... We couldn't find him"

Momo: "Rias sent a message to us saying the investigation in the Underworld hasn't produced anything either. On top of that, she hasn't been able to communicate with the rest of the L/n peerage besides Amagi and Siduri"

Sona frustratingly shoved the paper to the ground as she dug her fingers through her hair.

Saji: "I'll help picking them up. Sona, take a break. I know you're frustrated but losing it won't help"

Sona: "I know.. He's important to all of us and hearing that we can't even find a trace of Y/n in a week is just... *sighs* Let Rias know that I'll be heading off to their home to check on them. In my stead, Tsubaki and Momo will be in charge of the paperwork"

Momo: "Yes ma'am. Firstly, you should get some rest before you do anything"

Sona: "You have a point. Sorry for having you guys clean up my mess"

Momo: "Leave it to us"

Sona: "I will. Thank you"

She got off her seat and walked over to the other couch. As soon as she laid down, Sona almost instantaneous knocked out while having a doubt in her head.

"I wonder how my sister is handling this?"

Elsewhere

In a small rural town near a river, a bar full of rough devils all laughed among one another while toasting to a victory.

Devil: "The King of Kuoh has perished!! We've won!!"

Everyone: "YEA!!!"

Devil: "We've got a massive amount of troops here. I say, tomorrow morning we take over the damn kingdom for ourselves"

Devil 2: "What do we do about the Gremory and Sitri clan?"

Devil: "A little informant told me that the Gremory girl and her peerage aren't there. The Sitri is spread all over trying to find the "King of Humanity" that they are vulnerability at the moment"

He chugged his bear and threw it away while raising his fist to the sky.

Devil: "This is the time to strike!! We will do whatever we want to the humans!! You can kill, slave, or fuck whichever ones you want!!!"

The crowd erupted in a cheer as a cloaked individual walked in. If caught the attention of the leader who squinted his eyes in alert.

He got down from the table and walked over to them as he took the seat next to it.

Devil: "Oi, who are you?"

??: "A devil too"

It was a the voice of a female which made the rest of the crowd look at one another with a grin.

Devil: "A devil ey? You wouldn't happen to be a succubus now would you~?"

He put a hand over her ass while getting a little closer.

??: "I'll have you know, I'm a married woman"

She politely moves his hand away as another 2 walk up to her.

Devil: "I don't see a ring or man around to claim that? Why don't we-"

She got up from her chair and made her way to the door before being blocked.

Devil: "I never said you could leave"

??: "Who said I was? I was merely going to lock it"

Some of the rogues whistled in excitement as the lady did as so and took center stage.

??: "I heard about your little plan earlier. I'll give you a chance to take it back"

Devil: "Why would I listen to you?"

She pulled down her hood to reveal a face that terrified them all.

Serafall: "Well, I gave you a chance"

Her fist immediately covered itself in flames as she pointed towards the ground.

Serafall: "Fire shot"

A single flame fired to the ground and completely destroyed the city full of evil devils as she stood in the middle of it all.

Serafall: "*sighs* To think Y/n was doing all of this without telling us?"

She looked up as she saw 2 fox girls land beside her and a white armored sacred user.

Serafall: "Thank you for coming along with me girls. I'm sure you both are going through a lot with your master's disappearance"

Akagi: "We have to be strong. We'll do everything we can to get him back"

Kaga: "Luckily for us, Vali wanted to help us out"

Vali: "I had Arthur and Bikou look inside the Dimensional Gal to see if she snuck in there"

Serafall: "What about the black cat?"

Vali: "I went to go look for her but she and the children are missing. Not even a note"

Serafall: "Where could she be?.. We'll look into that at a later point. Our priority is to look for Y/n.. It's everyone's priority"

Vali: "I heard the factions are having tense relations at the moment since he was working subtly to keep peace among them apart from the Greek pantheon"

Serafall: "Understandable. He still has a dislike for Zeus and Hades is still a problem. The Hindu pantheon has been of great help so far with keep Eucliwood safe as well"

Akagi: "Word I heard is Shiva sent out a few of his men to keep our home safe. Even Odin sent some of his own"

Vali: "Brynhildr, I heard she is quite the powerful valkyrie"

Kaga: "Lord Sairaorg also said he'd lend us a hand until we can find Commander. Amagi accepted his request"

Serafall: "So who exactly is there?"

Kaga: "Amagi and Siduri are taking care of the helm at the moment with the aid of Sona, Tsubaki, Akeno and Azazel. They are working on all of the paperwork that Commmander would usually take care of on his own"

Serafall: "That is a frightening amount of work if it is taking all those geniuses combined to do"

Akagi: "Commander is wonderful.. I miss him. He usually pets Akagi's head when she does something good or bad"

She felt a hand over her head as Vali did it instead.

Vali: "Then I'll do it in the meantime. Just until we can find him again"

She didn't oppose it and let it happen as Serafall laughed to herself a bit.

Vali: "What?"

Serafall: "I guess you aren't that much of a cold guy aren't you~?"

Vali: "Cut it out"

At the L/n Estate

The home didn't feel like a home. It was surrounded by soldiers in case Hades sent out another attack now that the King of Kuoh was gone from the picture. Despite that, it wasn't what made the place feel odd. Nothing was going on inside. Not a word was spoken, not a meal was being served, not a bedsheet was made.

Most of the members of the L/n peerage were isolated in their own room or attempting to find some strength to post up with the allies who were watching over their safety.

A door opened as X walked out with almost a dead face. She walked through the empty hallways with her hands in her pockets while thinking back to the events that let the family into a depression.

Days back

X: "Come on Mordred"

Mordred: "Yes father"

She smiled the entire time while holding her sword over her shoulder.

Mordred: "I can't wait to show Master how much of a badass I was today"

X: "Yes, yes. Get your praise but move faster"

Mordred: "Aye"

They arrive at the location with the rest arriving shortly after.

X: "Good to see you all are here"

Rossweisse, Kaga, Oda and Amagi arrived before them while Sona and her peerage with Akagi arrived after.

In the center of the group, Vali, the Gremory peerage and the rest of the team were exhausted.

Sirzechs: "Congratulations everybody, we've successfully saved Kuoh from the massive attack"

Sirzechs, Azazel and Bikou land beside them as they celebrate together.

Mordred: "Vali mongrel, where's master?"

Vali: "..."

X: "Ahri, where's master?"

She held onto the unconscious Eucliwood in her arms while not looking up at them.

Issei limped over to X and put his head on her shoulder as a few tears of frustration leaked.

Issei: "I couldn't save him.. I'm so sorry"

Everyone's soul dropped as soon as they heard the words come out.

X: "What are you talking about?"

Mordred dropped her sword and pulled Issei up by the collar as she tried to look for answers.

Mordred: "What the hell are you talking about?! Stop playing games and-"

A single tear falls on her face as Issei looks away.

Issei: "We couldn't do a thing"

Rias: "Mordred.. She took him.. Kiara took him"

Akagi fell on her knees as she nearly passed out from the shock.

Amagi: "How is that possible?! She was on our side and-"

Azazel: "Did you really trust a beast that only wanted what she wished?"

Rossweisse: "Odin, I failed"

She grabbed onto her head as she remembered what she promised him.

Oda tried to stand up while not having any strength or mana to do so.

Nobu: "Take me to where he was!! I'LL KILL THAT BITCH MYSELF AND BRING HIM BACK!!"

Ahri: "You're in no shape to do so"

Nobu: "THEN HEAL ME AND I'LL HUNT HER DOWN!!"

Akeno: "Even if you went back, we wouldn't know where to find them. She sucked him into his shadow"

Nobu: "Why didn't he fight back?!"

Rias: "He had no way to fight back, he was exhausted before he was kidnapped"

Amagi: "Ophis, is there anyway you can track him somehow?!"

Ophis: "I can't locate them at all. Wherever she is, she's hidden herself well to the point where I can't pick up her power"

Mordred: "DAMMIT!!!"

She cut a car in half before slashing it to bits in a fit of rage.

Sirzechs: "Mordred, you have to-"

X: "Let her. We all.. have to find a way to-"

Her voice chocks up as she tries to fight through the pain and remain strong.

The two young fox girls ball out crying next to Ahri as the rest do the same or are to shocked to react to the news.

X: "How.. Gilgamesh, I'm sorry.. I lost your child-?"

??: "X?"

Her eyes widened as she heard a familiar voice coming from behind her. She slowly turned to see a lady in a white dress looking around confused.

Irisviel: "What's going on?.. Where's Y/n?"

X couldn't say a word as she looked at the mother of the boy she called a master.

X: ".. Master.. Master's gone"

Her expression immediately changed as her confusion switched to disbelief.

Irisviel: "He's.. what?"
