I slowly descend to the ground so that Isla can safely get off my shoulders.

Y/n: "Why don't you go with Eucliwood for a sec?"

She happily skips away but accidentally runs into Heracles. The towering man frightens her but does her best to stay calm while the Greek hero looks over to her.

Heracles: "You're part of Y/n's peerage?"

Isla: "T-That's right m-m-mongrel?! sorry for calling you that. I-I am Y/n's s-s-sister, Isla!!"

Heracles: "Is that so?"

Isla: "Y-Yes!!"

She embarrassingly puffs her chest out while Heracles glances over to me. I only give him a nod to which he turns his attention back to the younger girl.

Heracles: "Well, I'll be in your care then. By the way, a princess shouldn't be on the ground lower than others"

Isla: "Huh-?!"

He picked her up and put her on his shoulders without a second thought.

Isla: "Woah, I'm so high!!"

Heracles: "Enjoying the view Ill-?"

He stops himself before thinking hard on something.

Heracles: "Who was I about to name?"

He whispers to himself before shrugging it off and taking her with him.

Heracles: "Where would you like to go?"

Isla: "Um.. To the snacks"

Heracles: "Very well then"

Azazel: "What do you think?"

Y/n: "He seems to take a liking to her more than the rest"

Azazel: "She's a child still and wasn't a part of the Rating Game"

Y/n: "Fair enough"

Odin: "Boy, how's the celebrations going?"

Y/n: "Good from their smiles"

Odin: "What about you?"

Y/n: "As long as they are all full of joy, I'm fine with it"

Issei: "Hey Y/n, come here real quick!!"

We arrive to find the table packed with people waiting for me. Issei, Nobu, Saji, Kiba, Tsubaki, and Siduri.

Y/n: "I've been called?"

Issei: "Before I say what I have to say, I just want to tell you that we beat our opponent for you"

Y/n: "Excellent. I had no time to be dealing with an arrogant devil child trying to take Eucliwood and having to take on gods as well"

Issei: "Yea. Now"

He leaned in a little as I could see the faces of the rest smugly closing in on me.

Issei: "Y/n, do you remember what you said at the hot springs~?"

The room immediately died down despite him saying it in a low voice. Like a pack of ants, they all crawled over towards us trying to hear what I had to say.

Y/n: "What did I say?"

Saji: "Don't act stupid!!!"

Y/n: "Tone down mongrel, or I'll kill you"

Saji: "Sorry sir!!"

He sat back down, intimidated by the sudden glance of my eyes with absolute killing intent behind it.

Y/n: "*sighs* Stop beating around the bush and tell me what you want?"

Issei: "Of course *clears throat*"

He gets up from his chair and proudly began to walk around me.

Issei: "If I recall correctly, we asked you a certain question that day in the hot springs that you failed to answer, is that statement correct?"

Y/n: "I suppose you're correct?"

Issei: "WRONG!! I am correct. Now Y/n, if memory serves me correctly, I believe we asked you who you loved. Is my assumption corrected Nobunaga?!"

Nobu: "Absolutely"

Issei: "AHA!!! A witness"

Sirzechs: "My, isn't this a fun show?"

Serafall: "Did this actually happen?!"

Y/n: "And?"

Issei: "You said this yourself. "Once we win this battle, I'll tell all of you who I love" Isn't that right partner?!"

Nobu: "Not those exact words but pretty much"

Issei: "AHA!!! Close enough"

Y/n: "I'm going to shoot you with a sword if you don't get on with it"

Issei: "Very well then, Y/n, who do you love?"

Every single set of eyes were on me with all of their attention. The room was completely silenced to the point you could hear a feather drop.

Y/n: "Who I love?"

Issei: "Precisely my friend. Who. Do. You. Love~?"

Y/n: "Such a trivial question wasting a king's time? *sighs* Well, if you all want to know that bad"

I took a seat and looked at everyone.

Y/n: "The person I love is.."

They all leaned in closer to hear the words that would come out of my mouth.

Y/n: "I love my mothers Tiamat and Irisviel. A child should always love their mothers"

All: "WHAT?!"

Issei: "THAT'S NOT WHAT WE ASKED!!!"

Y/n: "You said who I loved, didn't you not?"

Issei: "Yes"

Y/n: "Are you saying I don't love my mothers?"

Y/n: "Then I have told you who I love. I even made it two"

Everyone looked disappointed, angry, or exhausted which made me laugh out loud.

Y/n: "FUHUHAHAHAHAAAA!!! If you wanted to know who I wish to have romantically, you should of asked that?"

Issei: "Then tell us that?!"

Y/n: "That wasn't what we agreed on"

Issei: "All that build up for such an anti climactic finish?"

Everyone began to walk away as something slipped out of tongue that caught Issei of guard.

Y/n: "There. I've now told you who I view romantically"

Issei: "WHAT?! I-I couldn't hear you correctly!!! Say it one more time?!"

Y/n: "FOOL!!! A king never repeats himself"

Saji: "That's bullshit!! I want to know too"

Y/n: "I've said it once, I won't say it again"

Rias: "I wanna hear too!!"

I started rubbing my temples from everyone's annoyance. All I wanted at the moment was some quite place to stay at for the time being.

Y/n: "Enough with this.. Who are they?"

The room suddenly began to fill up with strange faces.

Rias: "They are all devils"

Y/n: "And why are they here?"

It had just now dawned on me. Everyone was dressed up in some sort of dress besides myself, Issei, Saji and Heracles.

Rias: "A lot of the younger devils wanted to get together and get to know one another"

Y/n: "Which just so happened to coincidence with my victory celebration?"

Rias: "Unfortunately"

Y/n: "*sighs* Sirzechs"

Sirzechs: "I may have forgotten to mention that"

Y/n: "Don't be an idiot. You're supposed to be the king of the underworld?!"

Sirzechs: "I'll try to be more aware of these things in the future"

As the massive room began to fill up, some of those mongrels would start talking to my peerage to try and learn more about them, me and the Rating Game. Apparently, our match was broadcasted across the underworld which gained us notoriety and fame as the team that eliminated an entire squad of divine beings.

Y/n: "My boredom has increased dramatically"

Azazel: "Why don't you try to get along with some of those guys?"

Y/n: "Mongrels deserve a king's attention without doing anything worthy of it? I think I'll pass"

Sirzechs: "I'm sure you'll meet someone interesting if you tried"

Y/n: "I do not like this many people"

Azazel: "Don't you rule an entire city?"

Y/n: "They are my people, these fools are not. I don't rule over them, that's Sirzechs' job"

I look around to see people wanting to approach me which made me feel sick.

Y/n: "I'll go take a breath of fresh air"

Sirzechs: "Your wife was looking for you"

Y/n: "Tell her I'll be back in a bit"

I rise up from my chair and head of to a balcony to be by myself for a few minutes.

Y/n: "The annoyance of thinking I have to get along with others. Then again, isn't that what you would of wanted?"

I could feel her motherly embrace as I stare out trying to find some motivation to go back to that rowdy place.

Y/n: "Clairvoyance"

I look up to the sky and find it eerly calm.

Y/n: "The one most likely to make the next move is Kiara. I must take measurements and make plans for when that time comes"

??: "Excuse me, you're Y/n Gilgamesh correct?"

I could hear a feminine voice coming from behind me

Y/n: "It is, who are you?"

Seekvaira: "My name is Seekvaira Agares. I am a childhood friend of Rias"

Y/n: "I don't know why you came to me with this information"

Seekvaira: "This was organized to have all of us young devils get together and get along with one another. On top of that, we are also here to witness the god of Norse mythology sign an alliance pact with us devisl"

Y/n: "I am no devil"

Seekvaira: "True. I've been told by my relatives that you are the exception to the 72 pillars. A human who has not been reincarnated nor accepted his king devil piece. How is it that your peerage receives mana from you?"

I open a gate and pull out the king piece from my evil chess pieces. I hold it in the palm of my hand as Seekvaira walks up next to me.

Y/n: "All I do is infuse this little piece with my mana. It seems to work as a conductor to provide my pieces with my infinite supply"

Seekvaira: "You're truly as phenomenal as my friend says"

Y/n: "What do you want?"

Seekvaira: "I want to make a sort of alliance with you if possible. I know you, Rias, and Sona all have a partnership together and I'd like to see if I can throw my hat in the ring as well?"

Y/n: "I don't just accept anyone. Rias and Sona have each done their part in protecting my Kuoh and the world while the rest left it to us. You've done nothing to prove yourself to me that you deserve my attention"

Seekvaira: "*sighs* Rias did say you'd probably react like that?"

Y/n: "And you should of listened. Come back and ask once more when you've shown me results"

Seekvaira: "I'll do my best"

She smiled to herself before giving a little bow and leaving. As soon as she exits the area, another figure drops down behind me.

Y/n: "You've been spying on me the entire time. What do you want?"

Vali: "To talk"

Sirzechs: "Hey, have you seen Y/n? We're about to sign the pact"

X: "Not a clue. I'll try to sense master's location via our mana link"

Sirzechs: "Good. Tell him that we'll be waiting for him with Odin and the rest"

X nods as she closes her eyes and pushes massive amounts of mana out of her body everywhere.

X: "Pick up on his link"

Meanwhile, Heracles sensed something odd in the air which made him get a little more on the defensive side.

Isla: "Heracles?"

Heracles: "Why don't you stay a little closer to me?"

Isla: "O-Okay"

Odin: "That boy is still not here. Shall we get started anyways?"

Azazel: "I won't hurt to begin. I'm sure he'll be back in time"

Sirzechs: "I had X look for him in the meantime to help too"

Michael: "Sirzechs, will you?"

Sirzechs: "Sure *clears throat* Can I have everyone's attention?"

Vali: "Yea"

Y/n: ".. And what if I don't accept?"

We both stare at one another while being a few feet apart. He had activated his balance breaker while I had lots of holy weapons pulled out.

Y/n: "I don't know what you're playing at but.. I can assure you, this won't go the way HE's thinking it will go"

Vali: "I had that in mind and so did SHE, but that bastard doesn't take no lightly"

Y/n: "... I'll agree to it. If it doesn't go the way I like, I'll stop and end the war myself"

Vali: "Fair deal"

He powers off as I put my weapons away.

Y/n: "Curse these damn gods. Always angering me with their stupidity"
