You can skip this part if you want, just a little venting on a matter that's been ticking me off a bit.

I feel like some people don't understand something I've mentioned before, but maybe that's my fault for not clarifying it or wording it better. These gods aren't like the ones you've seen or read in dxd, I'll personally be buffying the shit out of them so they can seem more like gods compared to the rest of the characters than they do already. I've also heard people ask, why not just use Ea? Because even Gilgamesh doesn't always pull out Ea. Think about the times he's used Ea in the big screen/anime. From what I can remember, He thought about it versus Shirou (His literal counter who was gaining an advantage over him and he still had to debate with himself on using it), Tiamat (A literal fucking Beast!!), and against Saber (King Arthur with some OP hax being Avalon), and against the holy grail (He didn't really use it, just its winds). I won't just spam Ea everytime either because it'll just kill the book for me. Just one shotting everything is cool, yes but it doesn't make it fun. Of course, Ea is in his arsenal but it won't be the only thing our MC uses. I'll be using the full extend of his treasury along with some Noble Phantasms I created for him (you all can also give me your own Noble Phantasm ideas if you like, I'll even credit you with the idea if I use it). He is himself after all, he's bound to create a few for himself. Guess that's it, I hope ye all enjoy the chapter :)

Akagi: "Sister, I see a building"

Kaga: "Should we move in?"

She looks towards Mordred for instructions but the knight hadn't said a word since leaving the fight versus Heracles.

Mordred: "..."

Kaga: "Mordred?"

Mordred: "Huh? Oh, yea..."

Amagi: "Up ahead you two!!"

They make their way towards the enemy building where 2 figures standing in front of the door to the building.

Mordred: "Seems like they are the ones who we'll be fighting?"

Asclepious: "So you all belong to the L/n-Gilgamesh peerage? I'm Asclepious, God of Medicine"

Apollon: "And I am Apollon, Son of Zeus and God of the Sun"

Mordred: "Two gods ey?"

She was a little nervous but held her sword directly in front of her without faltering.

Apollon: "We'll be your opponents. I do hope you can offer us a good warm up. After all, we need to get ourselves ready for when the big guy comes in"

Asclepious: "I am not much of a fighter so I'll be relying on you Apollon"

Apollon: "Don't worry God of Medicine, I'll take care of things!!"

He was enthusiastic as he cracks his knuckles with excitement. The other god didn't seem to match his thrill as he slightly glared at him.

Asclepious: "I always did hate how flamboyant you can be when it comes to a battle. Why can't you stay as serious and cool like you are when you aren't in one?"

Apollon: "What can I say? I love a good rumble!! I've heard they've accomplished some incredible feats so I can only image just how strong they can be"

Mordred: "I'll take him on"

She took a step forward as Amagi reached out to her.

Amagi: "Mordred wait. I can come up with-"

Mordred: "I can't!!"

Amagi was taken back by Mordred's burst of anger. She noticed something had been wrong since they left but didn't want to say anything in fear of possibly triggering the knight.

Mordred: "Back then.. I was nothing but a useless brat with a sword.. I couldn't land a hit until you designed that trick!!.. and it still didn't work. I couldn't protect anyone"

Her sword dropped a little as the fox girls could see Mordred's shoulders shaking.

Mordred: "I'm frustrated!! Father saw a pathetic showing from me and even sent me away because I was only going to get in the way.. Do you know how shit I feel as a knight? Not being able to do a thing to help?.. How can I go back to master and look him in the eyes after telling him I'd protect everyone?.. I failed"

Amagi: "Mordred.."

She wanted to try and comfort her but couldn't as they were still in battle.

Mordred: "I am nothing at the moment.. but I can't stay like this!!!"

She brings her sword back up and looks at Apollon with a new found determination backing her up.

Mordred: "Please Amagi.. I must prove myself here!!! Prove to myself that I am the knight that can walk beside my master!! Prove that I can be the tool he needs!! Just like Enkidu was to Gilgamesh.. I can be my master's most trusted weapon!!!"

Her sword begins to charge up a beam as she turned to a more composed and hungry warrior, unfazed by the challenge of striking down a god.

Amagi: ".. Alright. Kaga, Akagi. We will be tasking ourselves with bringing Asclepious down!!"

Akagi: "You got it~"

Kaga: "As you wish"

Mordred: "Thank you"

The 3 took off as Apollon let them go past him.

Asclepious: "Are you kidding me?!"

Apollon: "Now that's a beautiful fighting spirit. Here's to a wonderful battle knight of Y/n!!!"

He fires a shot into the air as he readies himself into a stance. He looked back to Asclepious and winked.

Apollon: "Don't worry, I'll be taking on  the strongest of the 4"

Mordred: "I won't let you down master"

The shot explodes signaling the battle had commenced.

Apollon: "Here I come knight"

The two charge straight towards one another as his fist clashes with her sword.

Apollon: "What a magnificent power!!"

Mordred: "I can put more!!"

The beam reappears as she tries to bring it down onto the God of the Sun. He was holding it back well as the beam goes away.

Apollon: "It's gone-"

Mordred rushes in quickly with a kick to the face. She waste no time on mocking the god and swings her sword a few more times, nearly hitting Apollon on some dangerous spots.

Mordred: "HAAA!!!"

A beam hits Apollon in the shoulder.

Apollon: "Gah!!!"

He jumps back as he grabs his wound as Mordred doesn't let up, upper cutting Apollon with a kick to the jaw. The god couldn't react fast enough as she fired yet another blast to his chest that sends flying through the building. He was slow to get up as he wipes off his blood from his mouth.

Apollon: "I must change the tides"

Apollon's hand began to glow as he waited and allowed one of Mordred's attacks to hit him so that he can counter with a blow of his own to her stomach, melting that patt of the armor off while sending Mordred back a few meters. She holds onto her stomach but never took her eyes off her target.

Mordred: "Shit. That hurt a little"

Apollon: "I wouldn't recommend keeping the armor on after this"

Mordred: "What are you planning?"

He claps his hands together and crouches down so he can put his palms on the ground.

Apollon: "Territory Expansion, unlock my reality marble. Temple of the Sun!!"

The area is surrounded by flames along the borders while a replica sun is placed above them. The floors crack as powerful flames erupt.

Mordred: "Shit"

She noticed her armor was getting affected by the heat as Apollon floats down.

Apollon: "Mordred, will you sacrifice your protection? Or will you risk it melting on your skin?"

The armor disappears as she stretches a bit.

Mordred: "I can take off the armor, it was restricting my movements"

Apollon: "I've gained another advantage now"

He smirks to himself as he inbudes his hands with divine energy.

Apollon: "A punch from these will instantly knock you out. I've set the terrain in my favor too"

Mordred was beginning to feel the effects of his reality marble.

Apollon: "Aslong as you are trapped within it, you will suffer great defects. I'm sure you can feel them already, correct?"

Because of the heat, she began to start feeling dehydrated and could not think straight. Her vision wasn't as clear as it was before and her body felt sluggish.

Mordred: "Dammit"

She stayed up but felt as if her energy was being drained by the second.

Apollon: "Can you withstand the heat? I'll be ending this pretty quickly"

He disappeared from her sight as he moved in for the kill.

Y/n: ".. Move. Don't let yourself lose. If you lose one of your senses, remember, you have more"

Mordred closed her eyes as she stood in place.

Apollon: "I got you now"

He swung his fist at the knight from her left but managed to deflect his attack.

Apollon: "You evaded my attack?!"

She remained with her eyes closed as she took slow breaths.

Mordred: "Even if you take my sight off, I can still hear you"

Apollon: "My attack was filled with divine energy. How did you block it?!"

Mordred: "I didn't. I just direct it away from me"

She was telling the truth. When Mordred deflected Apollon's attack, she used her sword as a sort of ramp, guiding his fiat away from her direction.

Apollon: "Ho? I can tell I'm going to enjoy this fight now~ Pillars of light!!"

Mordred stayed calm while avoiding the light beams falling from the sky from crushing her.

Apollon: "Now!!"

He appeared behind her with a hit to her blind spot but she duck and grabbed his arm as she flipped him over her shoulder.

Apollon: "Damn!!"

He lands on the ground but quickly gets up as he continues to try and hit her. Mordred was keeping her cool and evaded his attacks but knew she couldn't keep it up forever.

Mordred: "I have to figure out to break this reality marble, but how?"

She thought about using her Noble Phantasm to cut through it, but was it even strong enough to break it? Mordred was also in trouble with the terrain. Even if she could dodge the attack of Apollon, the flames from underneath would still land on her, burning parts of her body.

Apollon: "You're slowing down Knight of Rebellion!!"

He almost landed a killing punch on Mordred's chest if it wasn't for her quick thinking. She brought back her armor just in time and put the sword in the way as an extra layer of protection.

Apollon: "TAKE THIS!!!"

The attack sends Mordred crashing into the fiery walls of the reality marble which burnt her back as well.

Mordred: "AAAAAAAHHH!!!"

She quickly jumps forward to get away and lands on the floor.

Apollon: "You are still here? Most Ultimate class devils would of lost immediately after taking a punch like that even if they wore better defenses.  Good job"

He applauded her will and smarts for staying in the rating game longer. Mordred was on the ground exhausted. She was doing everything in her power to stay conscious so she isn't eliminated.

Mordred: "So.. this is.. the strength of a god!!.."

She could barely utter the words as she gasped for air.

Apollon: "I say we end this now don't you think Miss knight?"

He walked over to her as his fist continued to be covered in his divine aura.

Mordred: "Mordred.. think.. think!!"

Once he reached her, he lifted his fist up and smiled.

Apollon: "I guess this is it"

He brought it down but Mordred use Clarent to fire a beam at Apollon which sent her towards the wall again. She grit her teeth as the flames burnt her back once more but waited.

Apollon: "That was a good shot"

Apollon got up after the beam shot him in the chest. Mordred dropped her sword down as she slowly got up, using it as a crutch.

Apollon: "But good isn't great. Die now!!"

He closed the gap in an instant as he brought his fist towards her stomach once more.

Mordred: "Hope this works"

She quickly dodges the attack that shatters the reality marble.

Apollon: "So I've been fooled ey?"

She gasps for air as the flames finally go away and oxygen fills her lungs once more.

Amagi: "Mordred!!!"

She notices the young knight fall to the ground with multiple burn marks on her body.

Mordred: "I'm fine *cough* *cough*"

She musters the strength to get up but Apollon was right behind her.

Apollon: "This is the end"

He lands the attack to her back which knocks the strength out of her.

Amagi: "MORDRED!!!"

As the Y/n's knight descended to the ground, flashbacks of the Prince of Heroes praising her for being an excellent knight rush to her head as she fished for something to cling to.

Y/n: "I trust you with everyone"

Apollon: "Valient effort, but this is where it ends Mordred"

She didn't say a word as she fell, but before her face could hit the ground, she stomps her foot on the ground as she looked up. She let out some low grunts as she grit her teeth and let out a cry of anger.

Mordred: "Kh.. ah.. AAAAAAHHHH!!!"

Apollon: "What?"

She turned heel instantaniously while bringing her sword still in hand, up as a powerful beam charges up that blinds the rest.

Mordred: "Clarent blood!! AAARTHUUUUURRRR!!!"

She slaps the God of the Sun directly across the face with it, slamming him down to the ground as it blows up sending her flying back.

Asclepious: "APOLLON!!"

Mordred while in the air, smiles knowing that her attack hit and did some serious damage to a god.
