I almost discarded this book because I didn't know if people would like it or not. I didn't know if having Gilgamesh eventually accept the MC would sit well with everyone. Thankfully, I didn't as it's one of my favorite to write when I'm not working on another.

It's been about 2 weeks since that mongrel, Issei, had arrived at my house. He's been training non stop with both Mordred and X in combat training. He's definitely improved that image I had of him significantly with his determination to strive for bettering himself. He's been keeping himself out of problem with his old perverted antics as well.

I'm currently over looking his training from a distance as he duels with Mordred under the supervision of X, Amagi, and Ahri. X was there to make sure things didn't go haywire and everything gets blown up. Amagi was there to supply Issei with strategies and what to do in certain situations against Mordred. Lastly, Ahri was there for medical help.

Amagi: "Do your best Issei"

Issei: "Ascolon!!"

He pulls out the sword and begins going one on one with Mordred. He parries each shot and even throws a couple of his own.

Mordred: "There we go!! Strike with everything you got now!!"

She starts going at it seriously now. Each blow kept getting stronger and stronger but Issei still stayed upwards. He didn't back down from her like when he first arrived. He wasn't scared of her this time.

Amagi: "She's left herself open when she attacks from above. Use those openings Issei!!"

While Amagi exposed all of her weaknesses and open spots to Issei, Mordred would also listen to avoid them from happening the next time she does a certain move.

Issei: "Now!!"

He nearly got her with a blow to the head but Mordred barely managed to evade it. She jumps back to distance herself from him.

Mordred: "Hehe.. I like it. You aren't trying to hold back. Going for the kill shot is always what you should do in battle"

The two stop as Mordred puts Clarent over her shoulder.

Mordred: "You've definitely improved since your day 1. You're alright in my book kid"

Issei: "I couldn't have done it without the help of you guys"

Issei had built up a lot of muscle and confidence in those 2 weeks of training. Mordred had taught him how to be incredible with the sword as I knew she would. X would help him how to be more agile, think on the spot in crucial moments, how to control himself and be able to fight with that Balance Breaker of his. Ahri would teach him small lessons of magic every day.. and now it was my turn.

Y/n: "Issei"

They all look over to see me.

Issei: "Y/n"

Y/n: "Come with me"

He nods and bows down before his instructors before running over to me. I begin to walk back to the house as the others discuss things they would like to eat.

Issei: "You wanted to talk to me?"

Y/n: "I did. I rather you wait til we go somewhere alone"

Issei: "Alright"

We walk in and he notices Siduri bringing tea over to a room I was heading towards.

Issei: "Hello"

Siduri: "Hello, I hope your training has been going well"

Issei: "It has, thank you"

Siduri: "Y/n, I've left the drinks on the table for you and your guests"

Y/n: "Thank you Siduri. If you may, I'd like for us to not be disturbed while we discuss"

Siduri: "Of course. I'll make sure no one interrupts you all"

Y/n: "Thank you. Go inside, I'll be waiting on 2 others"

Issei gulps as he senses a strong aura coming from inside. He nods though and walks in. He immediately notices why such a strong aura was coming from inside. In the room was a serious Gilgamesh, Sirzechs, Azazel, Ophis, and 3 more chairs that needed to be filled.

Gilgamesh: "Sit"

He does as instructed by Gilgamesh and sits by Sirzechs.

Issei: "Is it weird to feel sick? I'm sitting by Satan himself right now"

Sirzechs: "Don't pay too much mind to it Issei. Right now, we are here to discuss something important that requires you here as well"

I walk in with Amagi and X behind me as Siduri shuts the door. I take the chair next to Gilgamesh as X takes the one to my side. Amagi stands behind me and bows before she begins to pour the drinks for everyone.

Y/n: "You've all been called here by me because we need to discuss what you all know will be coming. Kama"

They all sit tense up at the mention of her name.

Y/n: "Gilgamesh"

Gilgamesh: "I'll be upfront with you. I have a skill called Clairvoyance. It allows me to see the future, present and past. I've seen her arrival but I can't seem to see the outcome. This troubles me"

Azazel: "The eyes that could see time? What an incredible skill that is"

Sirzechs: "This is truly a troubling matter. This doesn't mean that the world ends with her but it also doesn't exactly discard the possibility of it happening"

Y/n: "Indeed. I've assembled here some of the most powerful allies I have and the only people who are allowed to listen to this conversation. Though we are waiting on a few more, isn't that right Sirzechs?"

Sirzechs: "Excuse my sister's tardiness, I'm sure she'll be here any second now"

On cue, his maid, followed by Rias, Akeno, Serafall and Vali arrive.

Issei: "What is he-?!"

Y/n: "Quiet"

He shuts up as Serafall walks over to another chair.

Serafall: "Hello Husband"

Y/n: "*sighs* Hello to you Wife"

I facepalm.

Y/n: "I've brought him here because I'll need him to do me a favor. If the world's going to shit, I'll need his help as well as he needs mine. You don't want to see the world burn now do you White Lizard?"

Vali: "We have similar goals now oh Golden King. So what do you want from me?"

Y/n: "You are our back up plan to the back up plan. Don't worry, if we don't need you, you'll be free to go"

Vali: "Then start talking about these ideas of yours. What do you have planned for when she arrives?"

Tiamat enters the room as the final member arrives. She jogs over to me and gives me a hug. She releases me and stands behind me.

Y/n: "Tiamat here will be our main weapon. She has the strength to go toe to toe with Kama once she touches down on Earth. She is heavily binded by restrictions so she won't be as powerful as she can be but with the support she'll have in the battlefield, she'll be just fine"

Azazel: "What support exactly will she have?"

Y/n: "I'll be sending my own pieces to help her with combat. Mordred and X will follow along side her. I'll also have Issei backing them up in his Balance Breaker for an extra punch. Gilgamesh and I, alongside my fox girls, will be providing help from a distance"

Serafall: "Will they be able to win?"

Y/n: "I doubt it but I'm not sure if they'll lose either"

Rias: "You plan on sending them out there while-"

Y/n: "Yes. While Gilgamesh and I can fight in hand to hand combat, it would be best if we attack from the outside. It'll give them plenty of room to fight to their fullest if they aren't crowded. Besides, we have weapons meant to be shot from distances"

Sirzechs: "I agree with him my little sister. It also gives them back up incase the plan fails. Gilgamesh and Y/n could come in and hold her back while the others get healed, isn't that right?

Y/n: "Of course"

Rias: "That.. is actually a good idea. What about Akeno?"

Y/n: "She will be alongside Ahri. They will be waiting for my command should the plan really end up failing"

Azazel: "And what's this back up plan you have in mind?"

Y/n: "I've already gained Sirzechs' agreement on this before this meeting. I'll be sending her to the underworld alongside myself, X, Ahri and Gilgamesh. We will travel alone but we'll have back up waiting on the other side. Alter will be waiting there"

Serafall: "Your other self?"

Y/n: "Yes. He'll be the one to turn the tables if we aren't winning on Earth"

Ophis: "Why the underworld? And what purpose do I have in this battle?"

Y/n: "For the first one, it'll allow Gilgamesh, Alter and I to be able to go all out without having to worry about the damages we do to the human realm. As for the second question, you'll be boosting Issei's Balance Breaker so he can tap into a future power of his"

Sirzechs: "A future power?"

Y/n: "It goes by the name of Diablos Overdrive. He won't have full access to it since it has another restriction on it but with Ophis' power alone, he'll only be able to use for about 5 to 10 minutes at most. That'll be all we need to bring her with us. Akeno, who'll be under my peerage temporary, will be given access to my mana supply"

Amagi: "Which will increase her parameters 100 fold for the time being. Commander's mana pool could increase anybody's skills and parameters just by being in his peerage"

Y/n: "Between her and Ahri, they will create a magic portal large enough to pull her through to the underworld. If need be, I will use Enkidu to bring her down myself if she's still resisting"

Vali: "And what about me?"

Y/n: "I know that your little team has a way to travel between the worlds. That little Dimensional Gap, I'll need that"

Azazel: "The Dimensional Gap? Are you insane?! That thing will kill you instantly if you don't have some sort of powerful protection"

Y/n: "And that's what I'm banking on. I have a plan in mind that will help me live long enough to destroy her in there. If I can't, well, atleast she'll be trapped in there with no way out"

Tiamat puts a hand over my should as I look up to her.

Tiamat: "Don't sacrifice. Mama will be sad"

I smile and put a hand on hers as I look at her.

Y/n: "Don't worry, I'll-"

Gilgamesh: "I'll make sure it doesn't get to that point"

We look at Gilgamesh who was drinking his wine from a gold cup. He puts it down and rises up.

Gilgamesh: "Here me now Beast of Calamity. I, The King of Heroes, Gilgamesh, will not allow for Y/n to die in this battlefield or any aslong as I am here. That is something I promise. A king never goes back on his word"

Tiamat let a few tears out as she goes over to hug him. He tries to move but her strength was far stronger than his.

Gilgamesh: "Okay, I get it. You're thankful now release me!!"

Serafall: "Tsundere~"

Gilgamesh: "I am not!! Whatever that is"

She does as so and goes back over to me.

Y/n: "There's something else that she has we need to worry about"

Azazel: "Another thing to worry about?"

Y/n: "Her Divinity. Divinity extends ones power. She has so much of it that it explodes her power massively. I have one hope"

I put my hand out as a grail comes out.

Y/n: "If it comes down to it as and if I'm able to.. I'll summon another servant"

Sirzechs: "Summon a servant?"

Y/n: "X, Mordred, Tiamat, and Alter are all servants. Gilgamesh is an exception being that he wasn't summoned"

Gilgamesh: "I was brought here by the world itself I believe"

Y/n: "Gilgamesh and I both have divinity ourselves. We'll be able to hold our own against her, especially if he gets serious"

Gilgamesh: "I will"

Y/n: "We do have a weapon to counter her divinity as well"

Gilgamesh: "Enkidu"

Serafall: "Enkidu?"

Ophis: "What is this Enkidu?"

Y/n: "They are also know as the Chains of Heaven. The chains restrain anyone with divinity and increases the pressure depending on how much they have"

Sirzechs: "You'll be able to restrain her, but then what?"

Y/n: "Well fire everything we got. Alter will have to be leading us since he was an unlimited amount of mana"

Gilgamesh: "The faker will be waiting at a place designated away from all devils"

Rias: "Will it only be you three there?"

Y/n: "We'll have X backing us up along with Ahri. Azazel, Sirzechs, Serafall, and Merlin will all put a barrier around us so our battle doesn't ooze out. Even if we are away from everyone, I doubt our match will stay on that area"

X: "I'll stay in the back making sure non of her attacks aim at you"

Sirzechs: "So we'll be in one place?"

X: "Yes. I'll be there to cut through all her blasts and strikes if she tries to go for you all"

Azazel: "Not to doubt your skills or anything, but how exactly will you do that?"

Y/n: "Even if she may not look like it, she's still King Arthur. She wields Excalibur. She'll be able to keep you all safe"

They all look around as they nod.

Y/n: "Gilgamesh, when's she arriving?"

Gilgamesh: "3 days from now. All of you mongrels get ready. The battle for humanity's sake has arrived. Do you all have it in you to triumph or succumb to your own weaknesses?"

Y/n: "She isn't here for anything to gain. She's here to destroy and leave nothingness"

Gilgamesh: "Such foolish ambitions. I'll lend you a hand just for that"

Y/n: "Issei. Get ready. Out of everyone in this room, you are the weakest link. Even Amagi surpasses you and it isn't because of power. She has the brains to overpower you. I need you to acknowledge that. But just because you are weak, doesn't mean you can't be effective. I need you in your A game"

Issei: "I will. I'll protect all my fri- The world"

Y/n: "Rias, I'll leave it to you. Do you wish to take him back or leave him in my care"

Rias looked at the new man before her. He had toned out and become a new person from the skin kid he had left me 2 weeks ago.

Rias: ".. I'll leave him in your care for the remained of the time we have left. Once we save the world-"

Gilgamesh: "Don't speak so loosely about the future like that. As I see it, we have probably a 30% chance of winning this. It isn't a 100 so don't casually speak as if we've already won this"

Y/n: "He's right. This isn't a guaranteed win. We all have to bring out everything to potentially win. Everything's on the line now.."

Rias: "I'm surprised you haven't brought your queen"

Tiamat's head immediately shot up to the sky as she bared her teeth out. Gilgamesh met her gaze and sighs. I knew exactly why this was happening but I didn't want to warn everyone.

Y/n: "I know she won't attack just yet"

Y/n: "She won't be a factor in this match. Despite her having incredible powers, she won't be but a hindrance in the battlefield. She isn't strong physically to be able to keep up with us or Kama.. but I do have a plan ready for her"

Sirzechs: "What might that be?"

Y/n: "I'll leave it for when the time comes. This concludes our meeting. You all are free to stay if you'd like or not. Amagi, follow me"

We all rise up and exit the room. Azazel left while the others stayed behind.

Amagi: "Commander?"

Y/n: "I need your help"

Amagi: "Yes"

We head upstairs towards my room and sit down by my bed. Amagi immediately went over to embrace me.

Amagi: "I know. You're stressed and worried about everything"

Y/n: "I can't help it. I HAVE to win. Their's no such thing as failure in this battle. Everything is hanging by a thread and I can feel the weight of the whole world on my shoulders.. I felt like I was about to break multiple times just thinking about what to do to counter her... maybe he was right. Maybe I should just accept the Blac-"

Amagi: "I won't allow you"

I felt her tails wrap around me as to protect me from the outside worries.

Amagi: "You said you wouldn't accept it because you didn't want to lose the current you.. I don't want to lose the current you either"

I can feel her gripping onto my shirt as she buries her face on my shoulder.

Amagi: "I don't like your 3rd plan. Why do you have to sacrifice yourself?"

Y/n: "Someone has to-"

Amagi: "Lies!!.. I don't want to lose you. Please don't follow through with it. Abandon it. I beg you, don't ever talk about sacrificing yourself again. Back when I saw you lifeless on the ground I felt everything inside me crash and die with you. I don't want to ever experience that again"

I pull her away and put a hand on her head. I gently rub her head as she calms down, rubbing her eyes as she tries to take the tears from them.

Y/n: "You heard the old man, we'll fight even if it's for eternity to avoid that outcome. It's a plan I have to have in mind but it doesn't mean it's my immediate escape plan. I'll try everything in my power to come back alive from this. For you, for Tiamat, for everyone's sake"

She falls into my arms once again as I rub her back.

Y/n: "Everything will be okay. I know it will"
