X: "Hold on master... I'll get you out-"

Y/n: "Don't get near"

X: "Why?"

Y/n: "There's something off about these chains. I can feel my mana depleting.. Mordred?!"

Mordred: "Right here master!!"

Y/n: "You and X help put Gilgamesh. His body isn't capable of withstanding him at full strength"

Mordred: "What about-"

Y/n: "Don't worry about me, I got an idea. Eucliwood!!"

She runs towards me as the two take off towards the battle.

Y/n: "Ahri, back them up with support"

Ahri: "On it"

Once they take off, only the fox girls, Eucliwood and Merlin were left.

Y/n: "EU, listen closely to what I got to say"

Merlin: "Is there a way I could help?"

Y/n: "You said you had a special barrier right? Deploy onto us. I need to keep you all safe"

Eu: "What are you planning on doing?!"

Y/n: "You trust me don't you?"

Eucliwood looked suspicious but nodded anyways. Merlin used her Perfect Cube on the two of us as I smile at Eucliwood.

Y/n: "I realized something. The only way to escape these chains is to cut off my mana"

Eucliwood tilted her head in confusion.

Y/n: "Eu, I need you to kill me"

Everyone who was in the room's eyes widen upon hearing my request.

Amagi: "Kill you?"

Akagi: "Commander that's insane?!"

Kaga: "Yea, there's got to be another-"

Y/n: "There isn't.. my eyes can see the answer. I tapped into his memories and saw what they do. Trust me Eu, kill me"

Eucliwood was shaking and shook her head.

Y/n: "Eu, you have to kill me or he will grow stronger!!"

Eucliwood continued to shake her head as she circled up and covered her ears.

Amagi: "Merlin, let her out of there!!"

Merlin: "No. He's got something planned.. I'll trust him"

Battlefield

Golden swords flew through the air as it impacted it's dark counterpart.

Gilgamesh: "Had enough mongrel?"

Y/n Alt: "Haven't even scratched the surface"

A dozen more are shot at the golden king's direction as he evades them.

Gilgamesh: "Looks like I'll have to do it his way"

He grabs a sword and runs at Alter's direction.

Y/n Alt: "About time you stopped toying around"

He grabbed a sword as well and charged. The two kings meet and their swords collided. With the mix of a couple of swords being fired, the battle was on equal terms. Neither side had the advantage.

Y/n Alt: "You're open!!"

Alter slashes at his chest and cuts through the armor to deliver a powerful blow.

Gilgamesh: "Don't get cocky kid!!"

Gilgamesh countered it and slashed at his face as the two back up to check on their wounds.

Y/n Alt: "You old bastard, you got me good"

He says while wiping the blood from the gash in his cheek.

Gilgamesh: "You landed a solid hit aswell"

Blood ran down from Gilgamesh's chest but he decided to brush it off as he charged in again.

Gilgamesh: "Take this!!"

He swings his sword down on him but Alter deflects it and sends it flying up to the sky. Rather than trying to attack Gilgamesh, he puts his sword up to block.

Y/n Alt: "I know this move. You're going to use the sword as a projectile now"

He looks up but sees that the golden sword dematerialized.

Y/n Alt: "It was a tra-"

He was barely able to dodge the sword that came flying from the king's right side. It hits hit just beside the heart as he staggers back. He throws a few at Gilgamesh in desperation which just barely graze him besides one that lands on his lower abdomen. A few more swords strike Alter in the back as he collapses to his knees.

Y/n Alt: "Damn *coughs* You!!"

He uses the dark sword to hold himself in place as Gilgamesh breathes out in exhaustion. He removes the dark sword and throws it towards Alter.

Gilgamesh: "You sure are a stubborn one *coughs blood*"

His golden armor falls as he's left with his casual clothes.

Gil: "Dammit"

Y/n Alt: "You are losing Gilgamesh.. you're out of reserves aren't you?"

Gil: "What are you speaking about mongrel?"

Y/n Alt: "Your body.. it hasn't finished materializing hasn't it?"

Gil: "How did you know?"

Y/n Alt: "You haven't been using your strength at full capacity since I've came here. Your body isn't capable of holding onto your power because you don't have a master like those other two.. what's worse, you gave your heart, the fountain of your power, to that fool. You can't compete with me"

He slowly gets up as the golden swords disappear and his body begins to regenerate.

Gil: "How the hell are you able-"

Y/n Alt: "Nice trick ain't it? It comes in pretty handy"

Gil: "But how?!"

Y/n Alt: "It ain't the Black Grail healing me if that's what your thinking"

Gil: "No.. that thing may give you an incredible amount of power but it should be killing you slowly as well.. you found it didn't you?"

Y/n Alt: "The immortal elixir you were looking for? Something close to it. It won't be able to save me from a mortal wound but it'll heal almost all non lethal wounds. Comes pretty handy when it takes alot more than simple tooth picks to kill me. I'm alot more better than you are old man"

Gilgamesh grits his teeth before almost collapsing to the ground.

Y/n Alt: "You aren't able to heal, pity"

He opens up a gate as a sword comes out.

Y/n Alt: "I'll kill you now and feed the kid the Black Grail. It'll kill him in 2 years if he isn't able to find the elixir. Quite frankly, I might destroy the elixir in this time. It will destroy my timeline if he dies and I'll end up disappearing along with that hell of a future"

Gil: "Your plan is to kill him?!"

Y/n Alt: "No. I plan to use him to kill Kama alongside myself. I'm willing to kill her by any means necessary, even if I have to corrupt him with the Black Grail!!.. I want Eucliwood to live. Even if I have to manipulate my younger self to kill her.. I. WILL. KILL. KAMA!! But it seems you keep getting in my way so I'll-"

X: "NOW!!!"

X jumps down and tackles Gilgamesh away.

Y/n Alt: "The he-"

Mordred: "Clarent blood!!"

Alter turns around to see Mordred bringing down her sword.

Mordred: "ARTHUR!!!"

She fires it directly onto his face. The blast leaves nothing but a trail of disaster as she runs over to the other two.

Mordred: "Father!! How is mother doing?!"

Gil: "Since when was I your mother?!"

Mordred: "You.. did prep me food that one time when I was hungry"

She says the last part shyly.

Mordred: "Argh!! And father already is father!! I can't have to fathers!!"

Gil: "JUST CALL HER MOTHER!!!"

Mordred: "BUT SHE'S FATHER!!!"

X: "Enough!!! Ahri"

Ahri: "I'll commence the healing-"

She immediately put up a barrier that barely manages to hold up against a few dark swords.

Gil: "That bastard survived that *chuckles*"

Mordred: "Are you serious?!"

X: "An A+ Noble Phantasm at point blank and comes out unscathed"

Y/n Alt: "Unscathed? I would say that"

Alter pops out from the smoke with his body covered in blood. He was using a cane to support himself as his leg was out of commission for a couple of hours. One of his arms was completely mangled as his armor was ripped to shreds.

Y/n Alt: "You had me there... These wounds may take a bit to heal up. In the meantime"

He opens a few more gates and smiles sadistically.

Y/n Alt: "I'll fire miniature Noble Phantasms at that barrier of yours. Are you able to withstand them?"

He shoots them as Ahri tries her best to hold up while healing Gilgamesh.

Mordred: "Let me out!! I can take him on!!"

Gil: "You will not!! He is powerful even in that weakened state. Our best bet is to send me out-"

X: "No!!"

Gil: "Saber?"

X: "Neither of you will go!! Look at you"

She puts a hand on his wound and tries to hold it closed as the rest of his body is beaten up.

X: "I will not allow you to go out there and get yourself killed"

Gil: "*snicker* Do I sense some worry coming from you my dear Saber?"

X: "Shut up. I'm sure master will think of something"

Back Inside

Y/n: "Eu"

She begins to cry a little as she tries to block out everything he says.

Eucliwood POV

Eu: "Why do I have to kill him?"

She remembers everything. Every memory she shared with Y/n. The beginning, the meals, the battles they've had. But the the one in particular that stands out..

Flashback

Y/n: "How would you feel... about being my queen?"

I jump from from the sudden question he asks. My cheeks turn a little red from the embarrassment as I write something in my notepad.

Eu: "What's this all about?"

Y/n: "I was thinking about this whole peerage thing and who to use certain pieces on and stuff"

Eu: "I'm not that strong"

Y/n: "Nonsense, you are powerful, just like me"

Eu: "Strong like him?! He's incredibly powerful with the amount of weapons in his arsenal. My powers are great too but hurt using them"

I write down my thoughts and show him.

Eu: "I'm pretty weak physically, I don't think I'll be a good queen"

Y/n: "You'll be perfect for my queen. Don't doubt yourself because of your physical strength"

Eu: "Are you sure?"

Y/n: "Yes, I'd love it if you could be my queen"

I couldn't think straight.

Eu: "He had so much trust in me. Why does he believe in me so much?.. I don't know why but.. I'm happy. I'm happy I.. have a friend. Someone who cares about me and what I want"

I write out my answer in the notepad before showing it to him.

Eu: "Okay, but promise you'll still be here to help me if I need it"

Y/n: "Always"

We smile at each other and continue on our way home.

Present

Eu: "You said.. that we'd be together"

I read Eucliwood's notes as I hang from the gates.

Eu: "You said that you would never leave me!!"

She flips the next page and hides her face behind the notepad.

Eu: "You promised you'd always be here with me"

I could see small drips falling from behind the notepad.

Y/n: "Eucliwood... are you crying?"

I look at her sadden as I've done something I had hoped I never do.

Y/n: "Eu.. I know it hurts. But I need you to trust me on this"

She runs towards me and puts the same note up to my chest while looking down.

Y/n: "Please-"

Eu: "NO!!!"

She was in tears, her eyes begging me to pick another option.

Y/n: "These chains are sucking my mana out and giving it to him. You have to do this. I'll be fine. Ahri's here"

She put her head on my chest as she tries to decide on what to do.

Y/n: "Gilgamesh won't be able to hold him off for too long. If you kill me, it'll give him a chance to beat him"

Eu: "I don't want you to die"

With tears in her eyes, she fell to the ground.

Y/n: "You don't want him to die either huh?"

She nods.

Y/n: "... You want to save him?"

She nods again.

Y/n: "Then do me this favor. Would you kill me?"

She scratches her head before slowly getting up and putting a hand on my chest.

Y/n: "Everything's going to be okay"

She grits her teeth as the fox girls pound the cube.

Amagi: "Eucliwood, don't do it!!"

Eu: "Die"

My heart instantly stops as my head falls. The chains release me as I fall onto her.

Y/n: "Sorry.. for.. lying"

She holds onto me while her eyes are wide open. The truth is, nothing of what I said was true. The chains didn't have any form of mana absorption. They were powerful in holding me back but they never drained my mana but if I didn't say that, Eucliwood would of never used her abilities to kill me.

Amagi: "Y/N!!!"

Back in the battlefield

The barrier finally shatters as the group are left vulnerable. Ahri falls down as she is left with hardly any mana left.

Y/n Alt: "Well well well, what do we have here"

Mordred rises up and stands infront of the group.

Mordred: "Father, take them out of here. I'll protect you"

Some golden chains restrain her and pulls her back to the group.

Gil: "Stop. I said it before, you don't stand a chance against him"

He rises up and walks over to meet him.

Y/n Alt: "If you try to forcibly use that Archer class again, you'll end up dying you know?"

Gil: "I know"

I look back towards Saber and smile.

Gil: "But I won't"

Gilgamesh was about to force his Archer class before Alter coughs out blood. He grabs his chest and falls to his knees.

Y/n Alt: "What!! *coughs* Did he do?!"

He coughs up more blood before falling to the ground motionless.

Gil: "What?.. KID!!"

He looks up to the room Y/n was in. Eucliwood held Y/n in her arms as she cried while holding his corpse. Merlin immediately used the Perfect Cube on Alter as she looked at Ahri.

Merlin: "We need your help, NOW!!"

They all run in as Eucliwood tried to revive him.

Eucliwood: "LIVE!! REVIVE!! BREATHE!!"

Her head felt an intense migraine that caused her to nearly pass out from the pain as the rest tried to stop her. She fought through them and tried to reach Y/n before Mordred hits her in the back of the hit to knock her out. Ahri immediately tried to operate on him with healing spells and blasts to his chest to try and jump start his heart.

Ahri: "Please!! Work!!"

She continued to do her best as Mordred simply looked in pain as her master laid beatless on the ground. X tried her best to hold on to her emotions until Gilgamesh put a hand over her shoulder. The rest were in tears as Y/n didn't open his eyes. Gilgamesh looked at him with sorrow.

Gil: "Not again.. don't tell me I lost someone else.. come on kid. Wake up!!"

Ahri desperately tried everything but ultimately stopped.

Ahri: "I can't.. I can't do anything.. he's.. he's gone"

She fell onto his chest as everyone mourned. Eucliwood managed to use whatever strength she had to regain consciousness for a little longer as she reached for his hand. She grabbed it and said one final thing before collapsing.

Eu: "You.. promised.. love.. y-"
