I wait after class for dragon nuts to arrive after he told me to stay. He was off to go get princess red and her peerage for some info they wanted to let me know. Being that I was still in school, I couldn't just blatantly kill them in front of everyone so I'd hold off on that. I also can't kill them since they haven't officially made their first move. The hit out may or may not have been them but it doesn't mean I like them. I despised Rias and her demanding attitude. I waited by the window for them to arrive.

Y/n: "Make sure to be ready for anything"

I told X who was hanging out the window in her spirit form. I hear a knock on the door.

Rias: "Excuse us for holding you back but this is important"

Rias arrived followed by Issei, Sona and Tsubaki.

Y/n: "Sona?"

Sona: "Hello there Y/n"

Y/n: "What seems to be the problem?"

Sona: "I've heard you've declared war on the factions. Tell me that isn't true?"

Y/n: "It's not"

She sighed as Rias looked confused.

Rias: "Wait. Didn't you-"

Y/n: "I never said I declared war. I said, if they were to challenge me, then I'd be going to war"

Sona: "You know my sister is part of that right? If you attack-"

Y/n: "I won't aim my attacks towards her. From the looks of who'll be involved, Sirzechs said he'd back down from fighting. You said your sister is mainly someone who'd only get involved if you or Sirzechs gets involved, correct? I have no intention on attacking either one"

Tsubaki: "But what you'll be taking on is-"

Y/n: "I know. I'm fine with it"

Rias: "Are you?"

I look at Rias and shrug my shoulders.

Y/n: "How was the honeymoon?"

Rias: "Huh?"

Y/n: "I heard you and some fire bending boy got married until lizard boy decided to intervene. To think, a guy who was supposedly really powerful lost to him? Pathetic. I guess that just goes to show I wouldn't lose to anybody if this war does go down?"

I chuckle to myself much to Issei's anger.

Issei: "Watch your mouth!!"

Y/n: "Or what, you'll attack me? Remember what happened last time you tried me. I had you begging on the ground to save that blonde of yours. Even after that, you were stuck in the air without the ability to move"

He growled at me.

Y/n: "So, what did you want?"

Rias: "We want you to reconsider your plans and to apologize to the factions. There will be a meeting here pretty soon since they want to discuss on what to do regarding some of the attacks from rogue fallen angels"

Y/n: "As if"

I walk past them and head towards the door.

Sona: "Y/n"

I heard Sona call for me.

Y/n: "Yes?"

Sona: "Please, you have to apologize and let them know that you won't do anything-"

Y/n: "And then what? Subject myself to slavery for them? Allow them to be in charge of everything I do? I don't know about you but I prefer my freedom. I plan on being the king this time. I'll be the one making the rules from now on since these mongrels can't seem to do it correctly"

Sona: "No, I'm sure they will give you some freedom-"

Y/n: "Some freedom you say? I want complete freedom. Not just for myself, but for my people. I'll be the one to separate them from us humans and become the big evil in their eyes if need be"

I let go of the door knob as I think of what exactly I'm about to do.

Sona: "Y/n, you don't have to do this-"

Y/n: "I'll free Kuoh from every faction there is. I don't work for Heaven or Hell. I do as I please as the one who'll guide humanity to a prosperous future"

Some time before this little meeting, I got another one of those visions. One where someone gave me a sort of final message.

??: "From this day forth, you'll take my place as the watcher for humanity.."

I could sense something wrong with that vision but knew exactly what my duty as King of Kuoh would be.

??: "You'll be the one that makes sure that nothing goes bad and will see to it that nothing threatens those pesky humans from the likes of ••••"

I snap out of it and turn my attention towards Sona.

Y/n: "Sona, you are someone very dear to me. I won't ever try to hurt you or anyone in your peerage out of respect for you. Your sister too. I won't do anything against-"

??: "SONA!!!"

I flinch as a girl rushes in.

Who the hell is this?!

Gilgamesh: "What the hell's with this ruckus going on-"

Gil-.

Gilgamesh: "It's too early for this"

I sense him going back to the throne. The girl ran to Sona and hugged her.

??: "How have you been!!!"

Sona: "Y/n this is-"

Serafall: "My name is.. SERAFALL LEVIATHAN!!"

She ended the last part with a wink.

What the hell did I just witness?...

Serafall: "Wait a minute, what did you call him Sona?"

Sona: "Y/n"

Serafall: "Is this the trouble maker we've heard about?"

Y/n: "Maybe~"

She comes closer and begins to inspect me.

X: "Should I step in"

I could hear X in the background.

Y/n: "No"

Serafall: "You say something?"

Y/n: "No"

Once she was done, she went back to Sona's side.

Serafall: "He seems powerful but don't know if he'd be much of a task for all of us"

Y/n: "That's from me suppressing my power. I got allies that can one shot an army of whichever one of you decides to attack first"

Serafall: "Oh really? Well I'm sure you got the little memo from my sister about the leaders of the faction coming here in a few days. Why don't you stop by?"

She put her hands behind her back as she slowly began to come closer.

What's with her?

Sona: "Serafall stop!!"

Serafall: "What? I was told by mother that I need someone to become my Mr. Leviathan"

Since when was she this ballsy?! Sona described her as a child in a teenager's body.

Y/n: "I'm humbled by the offer from someone as gorgeous as yourself, but I'm not interested in being someone's queen. Rather, I'd prefer to be a king"

Serafall: "Too bad, you seem like someone who'd be the perfect match to me. Being that you are very powerful"

Sona: "Sister, didn't you say he wouldn't really stand much of a chance against the leaders?"

Serafall: "No and yes, I did say that but I meant against all of us at once. I meant just specifically talking about his strength. I haven't seen him fight and he says he's suppressing his power, but how much? It could be a bluff, it could not. I can't give you an accurate statement. He could just possibly destroy us all if he's really as powerful as Sirzechs says"

"Master, we got an unknown coming in"

I turn around to see another boy come in wearing the school's uniform.

Y/n: "And who might you be?"

??: "Issei I uh-"

He noticed Sona and turned away.

Sona: "Saji? What is the meaning to your interruption?"

Saji: "S-Sorry Sona, I just needed to borrow Issei for a sec"

Rias nodded as Issei walked over to them.

Y/n: "Listen to them"

X jumped over to them, listening in to their conversation while I talked to the girls.

Serafall: "I'm sorry, I forgot to say this"

Serafall looked at Rias.

Serafall: "Sorry about your knight Rias"

Y/n: "Oh yea, I forgot. You had one of your pieces finally listen to reason and leave you. All you were going to do was lead him to death and failure"

She bared her teeth at me as I smiled.

Y/n: "What's wrong red? Did the truth hurt more than you thought?"

Rias: "Shut it!! I'm trying to help you and this is the thanks I get?!"

Y/n: "With what are you helping me with? Telling me I should cower like a dog with his tail between his legs and have the 3 factions tell me what I should and shouldn't do? Nonsense. I see this little conference isn't going anywhere so I'll be taking my leave"

I walk out the room with the two idiots looking at me.

Y/n: "What?"

Issei: "Nothing you should be concerned about"

Y/n: "You're right"

I walk away disinterested. Once I turn the corner, X appears beside me.

X: "They know the whereabouts regarding the knight known as Kiba. They will be searching for him later today"

Y/n: "That's it? Well, it doesn't matter to me"

I was walking back to the new house when I pulled a sword from Babylon.

Hey Gilgamesh, I'd like to ask you something?

Gilgamesh: "What is it?"

You don't happen to have any weapons like Excalibur do you?

Gilgamesh: "I have Ea"

I mean.. You don't have Excalibur or any legendary weapon like that, right?

Gilgamesh: "I don't have those exact weapons but I do own their prototypes"

So, you do have similar weapons to them?

Gilgamesh: "What are you getting at?"

For the past few months, I've been reading up on the legends of those heroes. I've learned a lot about them and used your knowledge from previous battles to piece things together.

Gilgamesh: "Is my lore not good enough to read anymore?"

No, it's still good. It's just that I wanted to learn more about the weapons and what they are capable of doing. I want to explore other weapons we had in Babylon.

Gilgamesh: "Again, what are you getting at?"

I've learned how to use a couple of weapons you have that are similar to others heroic spirits would have.. Let me show you.

I pull out a golden spear from Babylon as I hold it in the air.

X: "Master?"

I forgot X was beside me as she looked at me confused.

X: "I don't sense any enemies"

Y/n: "Oh, it's nothing. Just trying something out"

Gilgamesh: "I still don't see what you mean"

This spear has a similar ability to that of Gae Bolg where it aims for the heart of the opponent. This spear however, couldn't go backwards if it had missed it's target since that is something Cu Chulainn learned and acquired as a skill. I have trained on my free time to hone a skill similar to the one Cu possessed. It still aims for the heart but if I miss I can track it with my eyes to turn either direction I want. Similar to Caliburn, I have a sword similar to it but in an all gold color. It possesses the similar skill of mana burst but not at the same power as Caliburn does. I've trained with it to get it as close to it in power, combined with the extra leveling this world gives it.

Gilgamesh: "I see"

In general, what I am saying is that I have gone and honed a good portion of the weapons in Babylon. Those that have similar constructs to that of other Divine weapons from the past that were not man made have also been trained to come as close in skill to their counterpart.

Gilgamesh: "Hahaha!!! This is why I chose you as my vessel. You are certainly a wise one Y/n. Indeed, you will make an incredible king and hero. With my power and your ability to create things I wasn't even bothered to think about, you'll definitely be the closest hero to reach my level!!!"

I'm honored oh great King of Heroes.

I put the spear away as we finally arrive.

Y/n: "Wow!! This barrier is strong and large"

We walk in and notice that the barrier does not just extend around the house but around the lake and it's surrounding mountains.

I was not aware Ahri was this powerful?

I'm greeted by the girls. Eu and Isla had gotten here under Mordred's watch while Ahri was being protected by Akagi, Amagi, and Kaga. I had ordered X to stick by me when Ahri had finished the barrier before Issei had called on me.

Y/n: "Ahri, I'm impressed with the barrier. It's very strong, very large"

Ahri: "Well, I can't take all the credit. Thanks to you for helping me improve my magic while having some of your life essence has helped me develop my magic ten fold"

Y/n: "Great to hear. Mordred, good job on taking care of the girls on the way back"

Mordred: "It was nothing"

She said puffing her nonexistent chest out.

Y/n: "Amagi, I trust you've finished the assignment I had asked you to take care for me?"

Amagi: "Yes, I *cough* sent the funds to Miss Siduri's father's business. He should have already received them by now"

Y/n: "Good. She is a very talented individual who I'd like to take care of. She has a talent for the financial side of taking care of my future kingdom"

Mordred: "Have you assigned positions yet? You know, for the kingdom and all?"

Mordred spoke out.

Y/n: "I have. Siduri will be my CFO and Financial advisor. Eucliwood will be my Secretary. Mordred, you'll be the Army general. X will be in charge of the Air force. Kaga and Akagi will be in charge of my Navy forces. Isla will be in charge of what we import. Ahri will be our Alchemist and Medical expert. And Amagi will be my strategist. She will be in charge of any battle strategies as well as any financial strategies along with Siduri"

Ahri: "Question? How will she handle being around 4 fox girls, one dark sith and the son of King Arthur?"

Y/n: "I'll be in charge of that. As you all know, I'll be the king. You all play your part and I guarantee you we can make this whole thing work out"

They all look at me with smiles. Eucliwood walks up to me with her notepad.

Eu: "We've always believed in you. Otherwise, we wouldn't be here"

I pat her head as I look at the rest.

Y/n: "I knew this team would be perfect for this job"

Gilgamesh: "You got all the pieces, now make it happen"

Of course Gilgamesh. I know there's a few things I'll need to accomplish. I need to start being a man of the people and quit some of my more arrogant ways. Maybe be a little more mature about some of the things I've said.. I'll try and model myself after you"

Gilgamesh: "Then in that case, you might need this"

A gate opens as a stone tablet emerges from it. My hand grows a gauntlet as I hold onto it. A circle appears around me as it slowly descends, changing my attire.

Gilgamesh: "There we go, looking like a real king now!!"

Y/n: "So this is my other form? Not bad"

They all look at me as another gate opens holding another tablet.

Y/n: "What's this?"

Gilgamesh: "That is called Dup Shimati. It will help you when any god or goddess decides to use their authority to kill you"

I see. This will come in handy some day.

I send it back and notice something weird going on. I pull out my holy grail and see it glowing a bit.

Gilgamesh: "It seems it's allowed you to add a another servant"

Y/n: "Interesting"

I send it back as I look at my team.

Y/n: "Time to rest up a bit. I have a feeling we may be in for some trouble soon"

Woods

A girl in black was dodging the incoming attacks from a man in the sky.

She falls to the ground but quickly gets up as another man pops out.

??: "Found you!! Hahaha!! Seems you're all alone. So, who's going to save you from me now?!"

She attacks him but misses. He counters her with multiple attacks that strip her of most from most of her clothes. He nearly unclothes her as he grabs her by the neck and slams her against the tree.

Girl: "Let go!!"

??: "Now, what to do with you"

Man: "That's enough"

The man in the sky demands the other one.

Man: "Keep her alive. Even if she is a weaker one, we still have use for her"

He laughs as he looks out at Kuoh.

A/n-
So I just yeeted through some of the parts in HS DXD since they weren't going to be that important regarding the MC (Like Y/n would give a damn if Rias was going to be in a rating game for marriage or look for Kiba being missing). I also added Serafall's appearance a little early but she has been sent back before Kokabiel's arrival so that the story continues as it does in Season 2. Other than that, Xenovia will be making her appearance in the next chapter (although I originally had her coming in this chapter but meh, couldn't find a way to bring her in yet). Let me know what yall though of the chapter. I'd love to hear you all's feedback and as always, I hope ye enjoy :)

Ps: I was originally going to have this be about 4000 words but decided to cut it here and make the rest into the next chapter. Expect the next one out a little sooner as I reviewmy work and put the final details to it.
