I fall back into my chair from exhaustion.

Y/n: "I need a break"

It's been 10 days since I had my conversation with Sirzechs regarding my goal. Everyone had been working long hours trying to get everything prepared. Currently we are in the process of moving out to a bigger place. Eucliwood managed to find a good home to stay at near the middle of the Kuoh. I used several gates to send items from my house into Babylon. Rather than packing like any normal person, this would save man power and time to quickly move out. Mordred and X had been sent out an hour ago on a mission to escort Ahri to the new place. Ahri was supposed to set up a barrier that would keep us safe from potential intruders while Amagi and I were just finished with setting up a report on potential allies. We had marked down 2 people near Kuoh. One just up the mountain. A master strategist that had the power of a dragon capable of leveling an entire city by itself. She would be difficult to convince since the only other thing we know is that she's very hostile against all who dare enter her mountain. The other one is a woman that survived a hell like no other. From a territory owned by wizards, only one survived after literal hell fire rained down to burn down the city and all of it's inhabitants. Quite frankly, the only reason we even found out about this was through luck. An old man was talking about it while we were at a bar. I asked him about it since no one believed him. He told us about it and about the mage. He didn't tell us much given he had limited information about it. The mage is said to be residencing in a tower a couple of days away.

Amagi: "Y/n?"

Y/n: "Amagi, what is it?"

I sit up as Amagi brings me some notes.

"This Sona person.. she is close to you is she not?"

I look and surely see a picture of Sona.

Y/n: "We are friends, yes. What of her?"

Amagi: "She could potentially be an ally to us-"

Y/n: "She can't"

I said bluntly.

Amagi: "Why not?"

Y/n: "She is someone who has ties with the main devils or whatever they call themselves. A sister she spoke about with me in the past. What was her name again.. Sarah? Sera?.. hmm... Serafall"

Amagi: "Serafall?"

Y/n: "She's supposed to be a big shot but.."

Amagi: "But?"

Y/n: "Well according to Sona, she's kind of an airhead from what she described her. She has this tendency to believe herself to be a magical girl or something"

Kind of intrigued to see it.

Amagi: "Oh"

Y/n: "Trust me. If her sister had no ties to the faction leaders, I'd have asked her ages ago to join me"

Amagi: "Well, that's all we have nearby. Regarding potential allies not close *cough* *cough* we have a sun god out in India, a kid that's capable of using both fire and ice, and a powerful elf mage in Greece"

Y/n: "Keep the other 3 under watch. We'll focus on the two nearby"

Amagi: "Of course"

She puts the files inside of a folder which I take and put into Babylon.

Y/n:"Anything else?"

Amagi: "Not at the moment. Eu and Isla are currently at school. Should you not be there aswell?"

Y/n: "I'll be leaving for it in a bit. Are you sure you'll be fine by yourself?"

Amagi: "Yes *cough* *cough* I'll be leaving with Kaga and Akagi when they get back from the new house. Is there anything you'd like?"

Y/n: "Not at the moment"

I pick up my backpack and thought of something.

Y/n: "How are our profits going?"

Since the conversation, I went out and started buying more and more businesses. I bought areas that were abandoned and turned them into jobs for those in need. If the people saw me as someone who could take care of even the homeless, I'd be looked as someone who could be relied upon. It seem to have worked in getting the people's trust. When I go out, people often stop me and tell me how I would be an incredible president. They tell me how they would wholeheartedly support me and thank me for the contributions I've done to keep people in jobs. One of the biggest problems we have is people having to work long hours and hardly any breaks. I've changed that in my jobs, giving the people flexibility so they can be with their families alot more than usual as well as not running the risk of working themselves to death. I've also reduced all my businesses debt down to zero. I've taken the responsibility of taking on multiple problems from the people as well as requests regarding some of the citizens regarding financial help. I've been working non stop not just on recruiting help for the incoming war, but also helping the broken down part of Kuoh and installing future tourist attractions. The major of Kuoh has been sending me letters regarding my actions and giving me praise for helping the city but fears I may be monopolizing all of Kuoh's business markets.

Y/n: "Who'd know being a king is so exhausting?"

Amagi: "Well, I may not be the greatest in regards to this area but I say we are doing fine so far. A couple of piles of paperwork we need to get down but I rather just leave it to you to work on"

Y/n: "*sigh* More work to do when I get back... If only I had someone who can help me"

I head out the door and say my goodbyes to Amagi as I head to school.

Y/n: "I need to find someone who knows how to work on these files, I wonder if-"

I crash into someone who was running. I don't fall but the other person does.

??: "I-I'm so sorry!! I'm just really late to class!!"

I look down to the apologizing girl.

She looks at me.

??: "Gil-"

She cuts herself off as she looks away. I extend my hand to help her up.

Y/n: "Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going"

I look at her clothes and see she is wearing the Kuoh Academy clothes.

Y/n: "Seems we go to the same school?"

??: "Y-Yes"

I take a look at her books and see that they are money managing related.

Y/n: "Those books"

??: "Oh these?! I have always been a bit of a smart person regarding organizing and watching money. My father was a CFO for a large company before he retired. He currently owns a little shop where he teaches me more"

Y/n: "Oh really? I see you are interested in following in his footsteps I suppose?"

??: "Yes!! I have been studying his work and how it all works regarding budgeting or managing how money goes in and out of a company. I've also helped my father with keeping his company afloat with some strategies I came up with!!"

She was full of energy as she talked about her father's company and her goals. It intrigued me.

Y/n: "Hmm, interesting"

??: "You think so? Not many people find this stuff attractive unfortunately. Many of the kids at school tend to pick on me for being a book worm or a nerd"

Y/n: "I don't see that as a bad thing"

??: "You don't?"

Y/n: "Of course not. You have knowledge that exceeds all those in your grade. I see a gift infront of me. A gift that would help any company succeed in the future"

??: "R-Really?"

Y/n: "Of course. As a matter a fact, I could use someone like you"

??: "M-Me?! But someone as popular as you couldn't possibly need me"

Y/n: "Why do you think so?"

I get down until I'm eye level with her and look her in the eyes.

Y/n: "Someone as brilliant as you is definitely someone I'd like to have on my side.."

I extend my hand towards her once again.

Y/n: "I would be lying if I said I wasn't looking for someone with your talents. So I'd like to make this official. Would you like to join me as my CFO?"

??: "B-But you haven't even seen me in action yet?! How could you be so confident in me enough to offer me THAT job?"

Y/n: "I have a good judgment of people. When one is useful to me, I do my best to use them to their best. I do everything in my power to not just learn from them but to also take care of them. I won't chase after them if they don't wish to. So I'll tell you just once, do you wish to join me?"

She thought long and hard about it until she finally came to her decision.

??: "I accept"

Y/n: "Great. It's a pleasure having you in my team then"

We shake on it when her watch starts beeping.

??: "Oh no!! I'm late to class again"

Y/n: "No need to worry. School can wait for a genius such as yourself"

??: "Thanks for the compliment but I still need to be there in time"

We continue walking towards school while discussing some things.

Y/n: "Why are you late?"

??: "My father and I stayed up late reviewing some documents from the shop. I just woke up a few minutes ago"

Y/n: "I see, and what are the documents about if you dont mind me asking?"

Teacher: "Unfortunately, the business isn't necessarily holding up good. The revenue we are making isn't making us any profit but we aren't entirely in the danger zone where we will be closing soon"

Y/n: "I see. So what I can get from it is you need money?"

??: "Yes, but the bank doesn't want to send us any until my father can prove to them that the company can survive another year"

Y/n: "That's terrible"

??: "Y/n, can I ask a question?"

Y/n: "Go for it"

??: "You have been helping Kuoh a lot recently haven't you?"

Y/n: "You could say that"

??: "I know I just got to meet you and I'm already working for you but.."

Y/n: "You want me to grant you funds for your father's company?"

??: "Y-Yes, is that-"

Y/n: "Tell me how much you need and I'll make it happen"

Sometimes you need to take care of your people so they can give you their 100 percent back.

??: "Really?! But-"

Y/n: "Don't worry about it. Also, I never did get your name?"

Gilgamesh: "Y/n, it's been awhile- What?!"

Gilgamesh?

??: "Oh, sorry, my name's-"

Gilgamesh: "Siduri?!"

Siduri: "Siduri"

I stare in confusion. Gilgamesh seemed to be in complete disbelief. Upon seeing her. Did he know her?

Siduri: "Is something wrong?"

Y/n: "No, we're here"

We arrive at the gates of Kuoh Academy. We say our last few things before we separate and head to our destinations.

What's wrong with you?

Gilgamesh: "That person.. Siduri was my assistant when I finally settled down from my path to immortality.. She was there when THAT catastrophic event happened. Unfortunately, I couldn't save her"

I'm sorry to hear that.

Gilgamesh: "I don't understand how she is here.. but if she's anything like my Siduri, I'll tell you this, she will be a great help to you and someone very loyal to the end"

Then in your place, I'll do everything in my power to make sure she doesn't suffer what she went through in the past.

I arrive at class as everyone turns their attention to me.

Y/n: "I've arrived late due to things I have going on. Do not ask what they are as they are private matters and I prefer keeping it at that. Please continue with the lecture teacher"

I look around and continue on my way to my seat. I notice someone having their eyes on me the entire time I was there.

Y/n: "Issei"

He was looking at me as I smile.

Y/n: "Whatever you have to say, say it after class. If it's a fight you want... Hehe. Well, by all means, you can go ahead and die now for all I care"

Issei: "After school at the gym. If you really care about Kuoh and all of its people, you'll meet me there. It's important news"

I nod and continue with my day until after school.

Whatever it is, it's sure to be bad news.
