After a long day of school because of constantly having to restrain Mordred from killing people because they called her a girl, I had called Ahri and asked her to come to the school since I had a surprise for her.

Y/n; "You seriously need to stop making this such a problem"

Mordred: "They keep calling me a woman!!"

I take a quick look at her uniform.

Mordred: "What?"

Y/n: "Nothing"

Ahri: "I'm here master"

Ahri jumps onto the roof.

Y/n: "Looks like everyone left, time to head to Rias"

I felt an uneasy feeling about going. I also felt like I had a few too many eyes on me in school. I blew it away as simple student admiration since I guess I was viewed as some sort of idol.

Ahri: "You two have been getting along lately these past few weeks"

Y/n: "Yea well, Eu thought it would be a good idea to befriend them since we don't technically have allies"

Ahri: "I-I see. You aren't doing this out of just being nice"

Ahri seemed a little down from my response.

Y/n: "Why should I? They are a pain in the ass to deal with most the time. If I wanted to, I could just crush them with Babylon if they get too disrespectful"

We walk down the flight of stairs until we get outside and head towards the ORC.

Y/n: "You really need to stop doing that"

Mordred: "Blame the other guys and girls"

Y/n: "How about you X? You've been rather- oof"

I hit something or rather, someone. I look down to see it's a girl.

She looks sad.

Mordred: "Hey watch it little girl!! The hell's wrong with-"

I put my hand on Mordred's face and extend my hand out to the girl.

Y/n: "I'm sorry, I didn't see you there"

She was a little hesitant on reaching for it but she ended up grabbing my hand in the end. I help her up and push Mordred away.

Mordred: "What the hell?!"

Y/n: "Sorry about my friend over there. She isn't very lady-like"

Mordred: "Why you little-!!"

She gritted her teeth with a killing glare at me.

Y/n: "What's your name?"

Isla: "I-Isla"

Y/n: "I like your name"

Isla: "T-Thanks"

Y/n: "I'm Y/n, and these are my friends"

Eu: "Eucliwood"

X: "X"

Mordred: "Mordred"

Ahri: "Ahri"

I hit me that Ahri was still here.

Shit. How do I-

Isla:"I l-like your tails"

She was really shy.

Ahri: "Oh really? Would you like to feel them?"

Isla: "Y-Yes please!!"

Ahri: "Knock yourself out"

She almost plopped into her tails.

Isla: "They're so soft"

Ahri: "They are aren't they?"

Y/n: "So Isla, what are you doing here? Isn't school over"

Isla: "W-Well..."

Y/n: "What's wrong?"

Isla: "There were some kids who... They said if I wanted to hangout with them"

She looked sad.

Why does she look like that? People are asking you to hangout with them.

Y/n: "Well what happened"

Isla: "They told me to wait for them by the gym, so I did.. for almost an hour now. After that, I sent them messages but they said they didn't mean anything and called me stupid for believing them"

Poor girl.

Y/n: "Would you like to come with us?"

Isla: "Huh?"

Ahri: "Master"

Y/n: "I know, it's fine"

I know we had to meet up with Rias but I couldn't just leave this girl heartbroken like that.

God dammit Eu!! your positive energy is rubbing off on me again!!

I extend my hand towards her again.

Isla: "What? But why?"

Y/n: "I don't want to see you sad because of some jerks. So, I'd like to invite you to hangout with us"

Isla: "Thank you!!"

She ignored my hand and instead went for a hug. I embraced her back and we got to know one another until we reach the ORC.

Isla: "Isn't this the old building?"

Y/n: "Yep. I have some quick business to attend to so I want to ask you something?"

Isla: "What is it?"

Y/n: "Is it okay for you to wait here with X and Mordred while I take care of it real quick?"

She grabbed my hand.

Isla: "You won't abandon me too will you?"

Y/n: "Of course not. We'll go wherever you want"

Isla: "O-Okay, I'll wait here then"

I smile at her as I went to the building with Eu and Ahri behind me. I felt something odd again and took a step back. Sure enough, a spear of light landed in front of me.

Y/n: "Ambush"

How the hell did they know we'd be here?!

I look behind me and notice Isla confused.

Y/n: "Everyone... Fuck, protect Isla!!"

Mordred activates her armor and guards her rear as X does the same while taking her front.

Isla: "W-What?! What's going on? Y/n. Is this a game?""

Y/n: "Yes!! I'll explain the details later. Just stay behind them, okay?"

I open a gate and pull out a sword. Soon, a gang of fallen angels show up ready with spears.

Fallen angel: "So, this is the target huh? Doesn't look that powerful"

Target? Who the hell sent these assholes for me?

I had my two servants protecting Isla and Ahri protecting Eu.

Y/n: "What do you want?"

Fallen angel: "There's been a hit put out on you. We've just come to take you out at the location given to us"

This was a set up all along!!

He looks behind me and notices Isla.

Fallen angel: "Oh, looks like we have a little human girl. Hehehe"

Y/n: "Leave her out of this. I'll take you all out if you don't get out"

They all throw their spears at us. I parry all the ones that are aimed at me. Mordred comes to X's side to help her block the attacks. This turned out to be a mistake. The moment she moved, she left Isla wide open. One of the fallen angels came and swooped her.

Mordred: "No!!"

I look back and try running after him. I got careless as one of the spears pierced my leg.

Y/n: "Fuck!!"

I grab it and pull it out.

Fallen angel: "Here you go boss"

The fallen angel throws her to the leader and holds her by the neck.

Fallen angel: "So this is what we'll do, You come with me or I'll kill this girl"

Mordred: "No way!!! Master, she's just a random girl-"

Y/n: "And I want to be king"

Mordred: "What?"

Y/n: "I want to be a king. To be a king, I must be able to govern and protect those under me. If I can't even protect one person.. WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I CAN PROTECT AN ENTIRE CITY!!!"

I struggle to get up but manage to do so.

Y/n: "Here's what we are really going to do. You'll give her back and I won't have to kill you or your buddies"

Fallen angel: "Hahaha!!! You think that's what's going to happen?!"

Y/n: "No, that's what's going to happen"

I suddenly have an image flash of where they will fire their attacks.

Am I seeing the future?

Fallen angel: "Let's find out. Men!! Fire"

Isla: "Noo!! Y/n!!"

Y/n: "Babylon"

More gates open and start firing swords at their attacks.

Y/n: "I was planning on taking it easy on you all by not using Babylon but you've really pissed me off. 1, you took someone who was under my protection just now. And number 2, you drew blood from me. No one's ever done that to me"

A golden armor takes over my school uniform as my cocky attitude grows bigger.

Y/n: "That means I'm going to have to return the favor.. 10 fold!!"

Fallen angel: "You wouldn't?! I have the girl right here-!!"

Y/n: "Who said I was aiming at her?"

The first shot went straight for the head. The leader let go of Isla as she fell down.

Y/n: "Enkidu"

The chains catch her before she can fall onto her face.

Y/n: "Go!!"

X and Mordred go on to take out the enemy as I walk towards Isla.

Isla: "L-Let me go!! Please!!"

Y/n: "Hey, it's alright. No need to be scared. I won't hurt you, I promise"

I slowly release her and catch her. I put her on the ground and try to explain everything as best as I can.

Y/n: "We aren't regular people. We each got some powers and are here to defend Kuoh from some bad people"

Isla: "B-But I thought stuff like that was all fiction?!"

Y/n: "Unfortunately not. Don't worry I'll protect-"

Another of those sudden images pops in my head. I could see that a stray spear had struck Isla in gut.

Y/n: "What-?"

My eyes widen. Due to my hesitation to act, my prediction came to fruition. Isla collapses in my chest with the spear in her stomach.

Y/n: "No"

The girls run back towards me and Isla.

Mordred: "Sorry, we couldn't block all the attacks-"

I raise my hand up.

Y/n: "No"

I carry Isla and turn to the enemies.

Y/n: "How.. HOW DARE YOU!!"

Dozens of portals open at once.

Mordred: "He's pissed"

Mordred said under her breath.

Y/n: "She had nothing to do with this!! This gentle and shy girl, still had more life ahead of her.."

More swords come out as my anger reached immeasurable heights.

Y/n: "AND YOU DARE TAKE THAT AWAY FROM HER!!!"

Y/n: "Fire"

All the swords went flying towards them, tearing them all to shreds in a matter of second. Eu looked up at me and noticed something.

Eu: "He's smiling"

Ahri: "What? Why?"

Mordred: "Could it be that he's getting caught up in a bloodlust?"

The girls talked amongst each other until Eu decided enough was enough. She put a hand on my back and uttered a single word.

Eu: "Stop"

I felt a pain in my chest and all my gates closed. My power seemed to have been gone for a few seconds.

Eu: "They're dead, you can stop"

She looked equally in pain.

Y/n: "Sorry"

I look back at Isla who was unresponsive in my arms.

Y/n: "Ahri!!"

Ahri: "I got it"

She started using some of her healing magic to cure her. At that moment, Rias and her crew arrived.

Rias: "Y/n?"

Some of the words that bastard had said returned to me.

Fallen angel: "There's been a hit put out on you. We've just come to take you out at the location given to us"

Y/n: "You..."

Rias: "Me?"

Y/n: "You set this up didn't you?"

Rias: "Set up? Set up what?!"

Y/n: "Those fallen angels said something about someone putting out a hit on me with a set up at this exact place. How convenient that you called me here to this location, don't you think?"

Rias: "You're saying I-?!"

Y/n: "Because of you, someone innocent nearly lost their life!!!"

I could hear Isla breathing softly as I breath out in relief.

She's alive.

I look back at Rias with killing intent.

Y/n: "Our little treaty is off the table. You come near any of my people and I'll kill you. That goes for you and all your peerage!!"

Rias: "What?! We didn't-"

Y/n: "SHUT UP!!! If it wasn't for Eucliwood basically shutting down my powers, I would of killed you on the spot"

Issei: "Y/n, Rias is telling you the truth!!"

Y/n: "Shut it dragon. I have warned you. Come near my people and I'll murder you, got it? Ahri!!"

Ahri creates a portal under us and takes us back to my home. I place Isla on the bed while I look at Ahri.

Y/n: "Keep healing"

Ahri: "What about your wounds?"

Y/n: "Ahri, I'm fine. Just keep healing her"

Ahri: "A-Alright"

I pull a chair and sit down. I look at the hole on my ankle slowly healing up.

Mordred: "So what now Master? We hunt them down?"

Mordred sat beside me.

Y/n: "No, I don't have the strength to do anything right now"

Eu: "Sorry"

Y/n: "Don't worry about it. You were just doing your job as a queen. Keeping me in check remember?"

I rub her head and lay mine down in the table.

Y/n: "Mordred, keep the area under constant watch. Anything happens, you let me know first"

Mordred: "As you wish"

She turns invisible and leaves.

Y/n: "Ugh, I think I'll just..."

My consciousness fades and I end up falling asleep.
