Grace's POV
"It's planning day"
Planning for what i whispered pressing my face into my pillow.
"My baby shower and your party for becoming part of the pack"
"I have to shower first"I yawned and felt for Asher.He was already out of bed and I frowned.
"He had a pack meeting..how do you think i got in so easy"
"Oh"
"Yeah so come on"After my shower I dressed in some leggings with a slouchy dark green sweater that brought out the blue in my eyes.I walked downstairs to see Asher's mother Carrie and Kelly were at the table with binders spread out on the table.
"Good morning Grace"
"Good morning Kelly"Carrie squeezed me and I smiled hugging her back.
"So which party is getting planned first"
"Baby shower"We planned the baby shower and decided on Elephants for the theme of the shower.I helped Alicia with the shopping part to get ideas on prices.
"I've now decided Ryder and I will only be having this child no more"
Don't I get a say Ryder interrupted.
No Alicia mumbled as he came up behind her kissing her hair.
"Your boyfriend is outside"I walked over to the front door seeing Asher in one of the patio chairs.I opened the door and walked out.
Make sure you come back Carrie and Kelly both hollered as I shut the door.I climbed onto his lap and he grinned.
"Hey baby"
"Hi"
"How's your planning"
"Boring"
"Mm cold?"
"I've been cold all morning"
"Getting warmer now"
"A little"
"Wanna start to sweat"I blushed and shoved his shoulder lightly.
"Ashy"
"Maybe later then"
"Maybe"His hand cupped my cheek and I shut my eyes.
"Baby your hot"
"What do you mean"
"Your burning up"He took me into the house and into our bathroom.He handed me a small packet of pills.
"What are these"
"Fever reducer pills"
"Oh"He handed me a glass of water and I took the pills.He laid me in bed and Alicia came in.
"Wait what's wrong"
"I'm fine"I went to stand and Asher grabbed my wrist.
Sit your ass down Asher snapped and I obeyed.
Your sick Alicia mumbled and I looked at her with confusion written all over my face.
Lucky guess she mumbled and I narrowed my eyes.Asher pulled my sweater over my head and I started to shiver.He replaced it with a t shirt of his own and Alicia left.
I feel bad I murmured.
"Why what's wrong baby"
"I'm suppose to be helping them"
"They'll be fine you know how many parties Kelly's thrown with my mom..alot they can plan yours while you rest"He got up and I hooked a finger in his belt loop of his jeans.
"Your not leaving right"
"I have to piss baby"I scrunched up my nose and released his belt loop.
"Your gross"He only chuckled walking away into our bathroom he walked out and climbed back in next to me.
"I can only stay for a little while baby I have to do a patrol today and have a meeting to attend with my Uncle about my ceremony for becoming Alpha"I rested my head on his chest as his fingers massaged my scalp and played my hair.I tried to keep my focus on my show but failed falling into a deep sleep.

DREAM
Asher's POV
Asher someone shouted through my link and I ran letting Kane take over to pick up the scent.The sweet scent hit me hard knocking me backwards.
Grace I whispered.
Asher help me she cried out and when I got to her she was cornered by four wolves.I snarled and the rouges all turned to me.Grace was bleeding terribly which only fueled my rage while I killed all of them.
"Grace oh baby it's okay it's okay"
It hurts Ashy she whimpered and I only nodded trying to find something to patch her wound.
Asher she mumbled her lips closed and her eyes rolled back.
No I shouted.
You can't die Grace I need you please I can't live without you please I sobbed clutching her body.Ryder and Josh were in front of me in their wolf forms.
She's gone I lost her I muttered my voice cracking.
'Alpha it's not your fault'
'It is I should of been with her..hell anyone should have she doesn't have a wolf to protect herself and now look at her she's dead I lost my mate mine only mine'
END OF DREAM
I shot up gasping for breath.I clutched my heart and looked over to see Grace asleep still.I ran my fingers over her cheek and heard a knock land on my door.I opened it to see my Uncle Carter.
"I think we need to talk"
"I'll be in your office in a minute"I walked into our bathroom and splashed cold water on my face.
When I walked into the his office his eyes were closed and he was mumbling.
"Asher sit James you as well"
"We need to talk about the dream you just had Asher"
"I dreamt Grace was dead she was killed by four rouges"
"Asher son that will never happen"
You don't know that I snarled.
Do you want her to be killed my dad snapped and I stood.
"Of course I fucking don't I want her safe and I want her wolf back in her"
"We don't know if that's what she wants i'm not going to force her to go through all of that if she doesn't want it understand me my Uncle demanded.
"Yes understood brother"
"Good now I think Asher needs to bring her in here and we discuss it now"
"She's sleeping and she's sick"
"Then a week and you will ask her tonight and tell her she has until next Wednesday for an answer"
"Fine and i'm due for a patrol can I go"
"Yes go"I walked out to see Alicia on the patio.
"If Grace wakes up before I get back tell her li'll be back soon"
"Yes Asher"I shifted and led the patrol along the north east side of our territory.When we got back from patrol my siblings were outside Aspen was blowing bubbles with Felicity and Cadence and the twins were running around in circles.I smiled as Aspen ran for me.
"Ashy ashy you back"
"I am back"
"Missed you"
"Missed you too Aspen"
Asher it's Grace Alicia yelled from the door.I set Aspen down and ran upstairs.
"What's wrong"
"She's been in and out of conscience for the past 20 minutes I called the pack doctor she was on her way"I took her hand and Kelly gasped as her eyes flickered open.
Asher it hurts she gasped.
"What hurts baby show me"
"My head and my chest"
"Okay what seems to be the problem"
"She's been in and out of conscience and we don't know why it's happening"
"Her head and chest hurts as well"
"Well first of all she's sick and it looks like she took some medicine that was too strong for her..which one of you gave her medicine"
"I did but they were just fever reducer pills"
"Can i see the package"I nodded walking into the bathroom to get the packet of pills"I handed them too her and she frowned.
"Where did you get these"
"I got them from the medicine cabinet"
"These are strong enough to take a wolf's sickness away and by the looks of it she doesn't have a wolf"
"No she doesn't.Is she going to be okay"
"She should be alright i'll flush the medicine out of her system and she shouldn't have any more fainting spells"I nodded and my mother and Kelly left the room as they flushed the pills out of her"
"I suggest buying human fever reducer if she's unable to have a wolf"
"Thank you"

"Baby we need to talk"
"I'm tired Asher"
"I know baby but it's very important"
"What is it"
"I know we had sort of a scare today but it will never happen again"
"I know Ashy it was a mistake"
"Right and my Uncle and I were talking along with my dad about your wolf and baby I need to know if you want your wolf"
"Right now"
"No of course not baby you have until next Wednesday to come up with an answer"
"Okay"
"I know this is alot to think about before bed"
"It is"
"And i'm sorry to just jump that on you but I really think it's important baby"
"I'll think about it"
"That's all i'm asking for I love you"
"I love you too Ashy"I kissed her forehead and she laid her head on my chest.
