Sheathipede-class transport shuttle

The Sheathipede-class transport shuttle, also known as the Sheathipede-class shuttles and as the Neimoidian escort shuttle, was a short-range transport

A product of Haor Chall Engineering Corporation, the Sheathipede-class was a transport shuttle with a curved hull and pincer-like landing gears, which lowered from the ship's rounded belly, and the shuttle's shape roughly resembled the Neimoidian soldier beetle, At a length of fourteen-point-four meters, the shuttle was powered by two engines and featured an egress hatchway at the rear. Some models replaced the cockpit with an expanded passenger cabin, and were flown by automatic pilots.

stock Sheathipede shuttles were unarmed and only possessed a basic shield generator, meaning that, rather than relying on strength, the ships relied on speed and a small sensor cross-section to get to a destination. Many of the shuttles used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems were upgraded with improved shielding, better armor, and larger engines While uncommon, a decent number had light weapons added, typically in the form a trio of laser cannons These armed Sheathipedes were used to move very valuable materiel through hostile locations and transport high-ranking officers and officials.

vulture droid

The Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I, also known as the Vulture-class droid starfighter, or more simply as the vulture droid, was an unmanned model of droid starfighter manufactured by Haor Chall Engineering Corporation and utilized by the empire

With the effectiveness of droid starfighters debated in strategic circles for generations, vulture droids were as such capable of extreme maneuvers that could crush even the sturdiest organic pilot, but lacked the resourcefulness and cunning that living pilots brought into combat Nonetheless, a lack of life-support systems allowed more room for armaments and fuel, and the lack of an organic pilot removed, for some, any moral responsibility for its destruction

Like the ground forces made up of battle droids, vulture droids were remote controlled by a control ship, but as time passed later generations of the fighter were able to operate with limited independence due to the installation of artificial intelligence. They were also known to be able to communicate with each other by chattering While not in flight, vulture droids could transform into walking mode to patrol the surface or provide support during battles, and was specifically designed to fill both space and ground-based roles

droid Hyena-class bomber

Hyena-class Droid Bombers, also known as Hyena-class bombers, Hyena droid bombers or Hyena bombers, were droid starfighters manufactured by Baktoid Armor Workshop. They were designed for heavy ordnance bombing runs. Based on vulture droid designs, Hyena bombers had wider and sturdier hulls with huge wings to gain stability during flight. Like vulture droids, it could transform its shape into walking mode

The Hyena-class Droid Bomber was a model of droid starfighter that was the technical successor to the smaller, less sturdy, and more lightly armored Variable Geometry Self-Propelled Battle Droid, Mark I, also known as vulture droids. Like its predecessor, it was designed to be cheaper and easier to construct than equivalent starships driven by organic pilots, also making it more disposable. The space that would usually be taken up by a pilot was instead used to carry a hefty armament of ordnance, including light laser cannons, proton torpedos, concussion missiles, and proton bombs

One of the Hyena-class bomber's greatest strengths was its versatility. The bomber was slower and less maneuverable than a vulture droid, but was still light enough to perform the role of a starfighter rather than a bomber if required, working alongside vulture droids and making good use of its laser cannons. The bomber's droid brain was made versatile enough to handle this switching of roles, and could use its own initiative in battle or follow precise orders blindly, even including suicide runs. The integrated droid brain also allowed the bombers to execute physically demanding maneuvers that biological pilots would not be able to withstand, making it a tough opponent for biological pilots not at the top of their game

AAT aka Armored Assault Tank

The Armored Assault Tank (AAT-1 or AAT) was a medium-sized repulsor tank used mainly by the Trade Federation and the Confederacy of Independent Systems The tank had heavy frontal armor that gave it the capability to plow through walls, and it was heavily armed with a payload of 57 shells. The tank required a crew of four battle droids to be fully operated and was able to carry six additional battle droids onto the battlefield. The tank's reactor and power and communications gear were kept in the rear for protection.

The vehicle was designed by the Baktoid Armor factories, with its most important parts placed in the back. Piloted by OOM pilot battle droids, AATs comprised a significant portion of the Trade Federation's ground forces. They were used to fight armies of pirates in the Outer Rim Territories before they were finally deployed in the Federation's

The Armored Assault Tank was a formidable vehicle; it was augmented with heavy inches-thick frontal armor that allowed it to plow through walls, and had heavy weaponry. It carried a payload of 57 shells, but once exhausted, the AAT had to return to its carrier to have its shovel-shaped lower hull completely replaced, fully replenishing its supply

The AAT's launch tubes could be equipped with a variety of ammunition. The three standard-issue ammunition types were "bunker-busters", high explosive shells used for destroying enemy structures such as outposts; armor-piercing shells, used for penetrating heavy armor on tanks; and high-energy shells for anti-personnel and anti-vehicle use. As they were fired, these shells were surrounded by high-energy plasma, which improved their penetration and reduced friction, thus increasing speed

Its crew consisted of four battle droids (one commander, one pilot, and two gunners), and could also carry six B1 battle droids on the hand grips on the outside of the tank The commander typically sat inside the turret of the primary blaster cannon, while the gunners and pilot were positioned in the main hull of the tank. The gunners operated both secondary blasters, and the commander controlled the main turret The droid's programming allowed for only simple tactics, but the tank was effective nonetheless.

The reactor, along with key power and communications gear, was kept in the rear for protection, as with many other Baktoid vehicles The AAT used heavy-duty repulsors to keep it off the ground and propel it forward Like other repulsorlift vehicles, the Armored Assault Tank was unable to penetrate deflector shields Enemy forces could destroy an Armored Assault Tank by dropping EMP or explosive grenades into both the main turret and the pilot hatch Additionally, the tanks were vulnerable to portable missile launchers

NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer

The NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer, also known as the NR-N99 Persuader-class tank droid, the NR-N99 Persuader heavy droid tank or as the NR-N99 Tank Droid, was a model of droid tank manufactured by the Techno Union. They were primarily utilized by the Corporate Alliance,

The NR-N99 Persuader-class droid enforcer of the Confederacy of Independent Systems was a droid tank manufactured by Techno Union and mainly utilized by Corporate Alliance and it was this group that largely funded the unit's manufacture. The Corporate Alliance were impressed by the tank's armament which included ion cannons, heavy repeating blasters, and concussion missile launchers and the droid units would use these weapons in relentless onslaughts

The movement of the tank came from a ] high-traction huge central thread ,and it was augmented on either of its sides by forward-mounted outrigger  wheels on a pontoon thread, which gave additional stability.  Infantry soldiers were also able to ride on top of these.  The NR-N99 Persuader-class tank droid was also fast, and showed its speed  by being able to move up to 60 kilometers, which came to be 37.3 miles, per hour,  but this droid tank lacked the agility and speed of walking droid tanks. However, the unit made up for this in its firepower and reliability.

The NR-N99 Tank Droid was well-armored possessed heat exchange panels, communications antennae, and the unit had armor-shielded photoreceptors. It was designed to be able to function with its computer brain, but the vehicle could also be controlled by a pilot droid. In addition to the droid having significant firepower, the droid was able to function through a variety of terrain, and the droid was also able to move on top of water and fully submersible They were able to plow through battlefields on heavy duty tracks and the unit could ram barricades

Octuptarra tri-droid

The octuptarra tri-droid, also known simply as the octuptarra droid or tri-droid and nicknamed the "virus droid" due to the biological plagues it sometimes carried, was a model of three-legged droid walker manufactured by the Techno Union. Produced in a number of different sizes, including agile octuptarra combat tri-droids and gigantic octuptarra magna tri-droids, they were used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems

The larger and more dangerous counterpart of the DSD1 dwarf spider droid  the octuptarra tri-droid,  also known simply as the octuptarra droid  or tri-droid, was a model of fourth class  battle droid  walker.  Their large heads contained their  cognitive modules and sensor suite  Three[8] red[6] photoreceptors allowed them to look in every direction at once, leaving them with virtually no blind spots  and making them almost impossible for enemy troopers to attack by surprise from behind. They had an omnidirectional field of fire, with typical octuptarra tri-droids being armed with three rotating laser cannons placed equidistant below its photoreceptors and around its central stalk, which could spin around and lock onto targets from any side in an instant. They had three triple-jointed, hydraulic limbs that allowed them to scale steep surfaces. However, its three-legged design was its primary weakness, as if one was damaged, the entire droid would topple over. In addition, they were also slow-moving and vulnerable to tripping.

Octuptarra tri-droids were produced in a number of different sizes during the Clone Wars. Agile, battle droid-sized versions, known as octuptarra combat tri-droids, stood 3.6 meters in height and featured a highly-mobile chassis. Primarily used as anti-personnel platforms, certain variants stored airborne biological plagues  in their bulbous heads, allowing them to wreak havoc on the enemy long after the unit is destroyed, causing them to be nicknamed "virus droids." The largest models,  known as octuptarra magna tri-droids, stood at 14.59 meters in height  and were used as combat artillery  Large enough to take on heavily armored All Terrain Tactical Enforcers,  their laser cannons could be replaced with chain-fed  missile launchers.  A variant of the octuptarra magna tri-droid used on the planet Skako Minor was equipped with an engine at its waist, creating enough thrust to allow it to hover many meters above the ground

The octuptarra tri-droid was named for the octuptarra, an eight-eyed, gasbag-headed vine walker found on Skako.
