"hey!" heejin hugged her bestfriend tight, and eunha returned the hug.

they've planned a hangout together, since it has been a long time since they did (just the two of them).

"let's walk to the arcade, shall we?" heejin asked eunha with a pretty smile. eunha nodded and of course, returned the smile.

heejin grabbed eunha's hand softly and started to walk. eunha followed, because heejin knows where they're supposed to go.

they sat down and waited for their order. they were catching up with everything. once their order came,
they enjoyed their meals.

"so, about that donghyuck guy.. how's it going with him?" heejin asked as she sipped on her juice.

eunha's face suddenly became red. heejin noticed her bestfriend's face and she smirked, "ey.. tell me about him.."

eunha fished out her phone and opened the gallery. heejin waited for her to say something, instead eunha gave her her phone.

"what is-"

and there it was, the picture from 3 days ago. donghyuck pecking eunha's cheek. heejin covered her mouth in excitement. "aw! look at you two!"

eunha smiled shyly and shook her head, "n-no.. it was him who pecked my cheeks.. without me knowing he was going to," she paused.

"but i admit, it was nice." eunha covered her face with two of her hands, making heejin chuckle.

"gosh.. you two should just date quickly. what's holding you back?" the girl with the braided hair asked.

"well.. i don't think he's comfortable enough-"

"that's so wrong.. he literally pecked your cheek! and you guys have been talking for months! of course he's comfortable with you." heejin rolled her eyes in disbelief from her friend's statement.

"and didn't i tell you he's a model? why would a model date someone like me? plus, will the media go crazy about it? his face is literally everywhere, it's making me lose my marbles." eunha stabbed the red velvet cake with her fork in frustration.

it's true that she always sees a picture of her beloved friend everywhere at least once a day if she goes out of her house. even in ads when she's just scrolling down her feeds.

"oh please, eunha! you're like, ethereal. you look like an angel and you have a charming personality. if i wasn't straight, oh boy, watch me fall for you!" heejin laughed as she complimented her best friend.

"not gonna lie, my heart fluttered for a bit. please remember that i'm bi. don't even make me go crazy.." eunha scratched her head, making heejin chuckle. "oh yeah.."

"also eunha- i'm pretty sure he's trying to drop some hints. like when you told me about him and his actions, he's literally dropping hints here and there." heejin sipped on her drink once again and snickered at her bestfriend who was quite embarrassed.

they spoke to each other a bit more and eventually finished their meal. they paid for their food and took pictures together because of heejin.

they were in the middle of walking home, they bumped to a guy. "a-ah, sorry."

the guy had a deep voice and a pretty face. he dressed casually and was wearing a black cap. his hair colour was dark brown.

"oh xuxi!" heejin exclaimed, making eunha laugh a bit. what a cute name for a pretty looking guy. eunha thought.

"oh, hey heejin! wait.. aren't you that girl mark talks about.. eunha? right?" xuxi asked as he pointed to eunha.

"mark? wait- you're-"

"i'm lucas wong, just call me lucas.. yukhei.. or xuxi if you want. mark said you wanted my number, is that true?" he chuckled.

heejin backed away and smiled to the both of them. "i'll go first.. bye eunha! you too, xuxi!" she waved goodbye, leaving eunha and lucas.

"y-yeah.. he sent a picture of you two and you're really.. handsome.. that's it though! nothing else." eunha said, being a stuttering mess.

"well, he said you would like to be my friend. if that's true, i'm up for it. here's my number." lucas gave her a piece of paper with his number on it.

eunha took it shyly, since that's her personality with people in real life.

"text me later! i gotta go, my boyfriend asked me to go get things for dinner.. see you later, eunha!" lucas said as he ran off to god knows where while waving at the dumbfounded girl.

"he has a boyfriend? damn.. why am i so single." eunha spoke to herself as she looked at the piece of paper and started to walk again.

"i'll text him later."

"gosh. i tried dropping hints.. that didn't work. should i do something else? but what? girls are complicated."

donghyuck spoke to himself out of frustration as he walked away from his 'hiding' spot.
