"Are you blind too?" A voice bellowed and Mimi raised her head to look at the person.

She took in the look of the dark skinned guy in front of her, he had big ears that complimented his small head, his mouth was so small that it was somehow unnoticeable, he…

"Oh now, you're even ogling me?" He said with an air of pride and Mimi rolled her eyes, she attempted to walk away from him, but he pulled her back.

"Can't you hear me or are you deaf again?" He queried and she eyed him.

"Kingsley, leave the poor girl alone, it's still her first day, stop bullying her," Chidera shouted, and he turned to her with a small smile, if it was someone else he would have flared up but it was Dera, the girl he'd been chasing for years now, and she had strong effects on him.

"Sure," he walked away from Mimi who glared at his retreating figure before continuing her walk, she dropped her bag on the seat beside Chidera.

"Hi, I'm Chidera but I prefer Dera, welcome to Maple," she introduced with a cool smile and Mimi nodded.

"Anyway, this is Tife's seat, and she'll soon be in school, I hope your seat arrives quickly," she said before standing up.

Mimi cast her a questioning look, and she understood quickly, " I'm craving for sweet things, I need to go to the tuck shop."

Mimi nodded and Dera sauntered out of the class swaying her wide hips that complimented her almost non-existent bum but with her blazer covering her bum, her hips was protruding.

Mimi's eyes scanned through the wide class painted in blue and white, the whole school buildings were painted in blue and white, her eyes went over to the girls at her front who were speaking loudly discussing their midterm breaks and the new things they bought, then to the other row that contained five seats, the class had four rows with five seats in each making the students twenty.

Her eyes rested on Christy and her friend before Lola's appearance covered her view. Lola quickly sat down on Dera's chair.

"Wow, this is a dream come true," she started and Mimi pursed her lips.

"Do you know Christy is a dancer? I just remembered her now, that girl is so popular on Instagram and you see that her fri...no, cousin, Mirabel, she's a model, she so popular on Instagram too, gosh, those girls are…" Her voice trailed off as she sighted a white girl walk into the class.

Lola grabbed Mimi's shoulders as she stopped herself from screaming, "Gosh, that girl is an actress, I can't believe she attends this school, you remember…"

She knew Mimi wouldn't remember the film so far she didn't watch it with them, she noticed the uninterested look Mimi gave her, if only Fara was here, it would be so nice, she had to inform Fara quickly. Lola got up quickly as she decided to go call Fara but a tiny voice stopped her.

"Who owns this filthy trash?" Clarissa shouted as she stared at Lola's bag with contempt.

"It's mine," Lola replied as she walked up to Clarissa.

"And who are you? Why is this here?" She eyed Lola warily.

"Um...the…"

Rissa raised her palm, "Save it, Benita, get this trash off my seat," she ordered and the Benita who was always trying to please Rissa and her friends- Christy and Mirabel- to join the group of the popular girls in Maple scrambled up from her seat and then dropped Lola's bag on the floor.

Lola picked up her bag before glaring at the Benita, she hissed and then walked back to Mimi's seat.

"I can't believe that girl is like that but maybe she doesn't like people intruding her privacy, you know, but I still like her though, I'll befriend her."

Mimi stared at Lola in disbelief, she wanted to write something down but the appearance of a caramel skinned girl stopped her.

"Good morning, umm, please, who are you? This is my seat," Tife started and Lola straightened up.

"She's Mimi and I'm Lola, we are new students and Miss Miracle instructed her to seat here till our new seats arrive," she explained and Tife nodded before her eyes unconsciously trailed to the entrance.

"Well, I guess your seats have arrived, you can place them behind us," she pointed to the door and Lola's gaze quickly shifted to the entrance likewise Mimi, two young men came into the class with the new plastic tables and chairs.

"Over here," Tife called and the young men nodded.

"I'll prefer my seat over there," Lola said as she pointed to Rissa's seat. Tife gave her a quizzical look before shrugging.

Mimi's seat was placed behind Tife's seat while Lola led the other man to where she wanted to her seat to be. She was bent on befriending Rissa, Christy and Mirabel and to top it all, her seat was just opposite Christian, her face broke into a grin upon realizing this, she'll be able to ogle her crush all day and even befriend him, if possible they might become a thing, the few weeks before the end of the term would surely be spicy.

"How did you do it?" Laiq questioned.

"Do what?" Christian asked as he turned to look at his best friend who was right beside him, Michael was by his left, they were all heading towards the pool, actually, he was the only one going to the pool while Michael would go to the football field and Laiq the basketball court, they were all captains in their respective sports which made them the most popular boys in school and also the most sought after.

"Come to school in your car, I know your mom was against it," Laiq replied and Christian smiled.

"It's Christy's doing actually, she convinced our dad."

"Typical of her," Michael said before he sighted Kingsley at the other end of the hallway.

"Kingsley was being stupid this morning," he voiced out and his friends whipped their heads to him.

"Stupid about what?" Christian queried.

"Trying to bully the new girl."

Laiq and Christian erupted into laughter and Michael shook his head.

"When did you concern yourself with stuffs like that? Last I checked you agree with his bully so, where is this coming from?" Christian questioned in between laughs.

Laiq raised his palm, "I know where it's coming from, this new girl is beautiful and Michael can die because of her."

Michael raised his brows, "Why will I die because of her? Agree, she's beautiful, tall, gracious, straight and…"

"Gosh, see the way he's already analysing her," Christian cut him off and he threw him a scowl.

"Tell me she's not beautiful, just look at how tall she is, almost as tall as Christian," he mocked and Christian dashed him a glare, he wasn't short, the girl was just over tall to him.

"But the other girl is beautiful too, as in dark beauty, and she even has everything in the right proportion, just look at her ass," Laiq added and Christian shook his head.

"I can't believe I'm friends with perverts."

"We are all perverts," Michael corrected before placing his hand on Christian's shoulders while Laiq did the same too.

"Christy, aren't you coming?" Mirabel halted her walk at the entrance as she turned back.

"You guys should go ahead, I'll join you soon," Christy responded while zipping up her bag.

Mirabel didn't bother replying as she walked out of the class with Rissa heading towards the cafeteria.

Christy looked around the class to ensure there was no one around.

"Hey, you," she hollered making Mimi and Lola stop in their tracks.

Lola turned to her with a sheepish smile, "Me?" She pointed at her chest and Christy scoffed.

"Both of you."

"So…" Lola drawled.

"I'm here to warn you guys."

Mimi arched her brows at this before Lola talked, "Warn us?"

"Yeah, you see it's enough that my mom is eccentric enough to make you guys stay at our place and even attend our school, now it's better you know your place," she warned and her addressee only stared at her with confusion spelt all over their faces.

"What do you mean?" Lola queried.

Christy scoffed, "You don't have to make it known that you know me, we are not familiar with each other, we are not friends or foes, so, it isn't in your place to start telling others you stay in my house, my mom brought you from the gutters and you have to remain like that, don't greet Christian or even Cherry, we don't know you, I believe you'll pass the message across to your fellows, is that clear?"

Mimi and Lola shared a look and Christy took it as a cue to talk," I presume you understand," and with that she sauntered out of the class with supercilious air.

Mimi scribbled down something on her jotter before pointing it at Lola.

'That's the pompous person you want to befriend. I hope you know your place.'

Lola looked up at Mimi before returning the jotter to her then she shrugged.

"Let's go," she held Mimi's hand as they walked to Fara's class. Inwardly, Lola still harbour the intention of befriending Christy and her friends, no matter what.
