After a while of hanging around Token's house, Craig and I started on our way home. We both got into Craig's car, which he left at Token's house before we all went to the bar.

"How much do you remember from last night?" Craig asks me suddenly. I tense up a little, picking at my jeans.

"Uh n-not much," I say quietly. Craig nods.

"I remember most of it," he says and I feel my cheeks heat up. Oh no. "We got home and we both went to the bathroom to get something- I think it was the bandaid on your head, but I'm not sure. Anyway, long story short, you threw up on me, I took a shower, we both went back to the same room, and uh slept together," Craig finishes his face turning pink.

We slept together??? And I don't even remember it?

Craig's eyes widen slightly, "Oh! Uh we didn't sleep together sleep together, we just slept. Like only sleeping."

"O-Oh..." I say.

"I thought you'd be more freaked out by that this morning, but I guess you aren't?"

I'm freaked out about where this conversation is going-

"Uh n-no, it's fine."

"It's fine?" Craig repeats, with a weird tone to his voice. "Are you..." he doesn't finish the sentence and I twitch.

"I-I'm okay with it..." I whisper, "I um I like you..." I say as quietly as possible. I don't want him to look to hard about what I'm saying- what am I even saying??

"Um cool," Craig says, drumming his fingers on the steering wheel and a heavy silence sits over us.

Fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck. I just messed up didn't I? He totally knows how I feel now and he has no idea how to let me down so he's just not going to say anything.

Then bam! He's going to go off the grid for multiple years to avoid me and I'll die-

"Do you have work today?" Craig suddenly asks, his voice a little wobbly. I nod. "Evening shift?" I nod again. "Then uh would you like to get something to eat now? Just the two of us?"
