"Roll up your sleeves."

You look over at Tyler with wide eyes. You shake your head.

Tyler raises his eyebrows, as if he's saying 'Do you want me to do it for you?'

You just shake your head again.

Tyler takes your hand and pulls you closer to him. You wince when he grabs the edge of your long-sleeved sweater and pushes it up your arm.

You cringe.

Tyler looks down at your arm and shakes his head, his mouth slightly agape. Your entire forearm is covered in black and blue bruises. There's red marks in the shape of fingers from where he grabbed you.

"Did your dad do this to you?" Tyler asks through gritted teeth.

You nod.
