Kalinth ( 11 years old ) ^

We arrived in Kansas around 5 in the afternoon. We have about 3 hours to get to our target. " Where do we go first?? " Kalinth asked
" Start tracking " I said.

When finished tracking, we found our target. He was holding a gun at someone. " Stop!!! " Kalinth yelled. I covered his mouth. He turned around and pointed the gun at us. Kalinth whimpered in fear and grabbed my arm tightly. My training instincts kicked in. I pushed Kalinth away from me. He fired the gun but missed. Next thing I knew, he had the gun pointing at Kalinth. My eyes widen in fear. " No!!! " I yelled and grabbed one of the blades I had on me. I throw the blade and it hit him in the stomach. I ran towards Kalinth and helped him up. Soon we were running back to the helicopter.

As I sat in the helicopter, I realized something...

I killed him...

I started shaking...

My vision was getting blurry...

" Nyx!!!! " I hear Kalinth said before everything went black...

I hear a beeping noise. I opened my eyes and see that I'm at the assassin academy doctors office.
I suddenly remembered what happened before getting back on the helicopter.

I started shaking again...

The beeping noise kept speeding up. I think it was monitoring my heart rate.

" Nyx, breath! You are safe! Calm down! " I hear Kalinth say.

I couldn't...

I killed someone...

My breathing quickened...

I felt someone grab my hand...

I saw Chase...

" C-Chase?? " I asked " I'm here little one " Chase said " Why am I here?? " I asked " That's what I like to know. When I got back from my mission, someone told me you were in the doctors office because you passed out " Chase said " Chase, we went on our first mission today. Nyx...killed our target protecting me " Kalinth said.

I started shaking for the third time...

Chase looked mad...no...he looked pissed off. Chase got up and left the doctors office.

Chase's POV ( yay, first point of view )

That bitch! I can't believe he sent them on a mission! I walked into Daniel's office. " Daniel!! You bitch!! How could you sent them on a mission?! " I yelled " Oh, so you found out " Daniel said " Yeah I did!! That was so messed up!! You sent me on a fucking mission so I couldn't stop you from sending them on a mission!! Nyx is literally shaking!! She killed her first target!! I should have been there to help her through that but no! You sent me on a stupid mission!! " I yelled.

I lost my shit.

She's only 13 years old! And Kalinth is only 11 years old!

I sighed. " The damage is done for Nyx, she can't turn back. Next will be Kalinth who will kill " Daniel said
" Fine, but I'm going to continue training them so this doesn't happen again and they know what to expect! " I said " They need to expect the unexpected! " Daniel said " They will but they'll be more ready " I said and left Daniel's office.

They released Nyx and I was able to bring back to our room. She went straight to bed.
