Nyx ( 13 years old ) ^

* 5 years later *
( A/N: Nyx is 13 and Kalinth is 11 )

I was running after Chase while Kalinth was laughing. We were supposed to be training and Kalinth was just laughing! I lunged at Chase and pinned him to the ground. " Great job Nyx! Now can I get up?? " Chase said " Let me think about that...nope! " I said. Next thing I knew, Kalinth had me pinned to the ground. Chase started laughing. Daniel walked into our training room. Kalinth immediately got off me and helped me up. " Daniel, what brings you here?? " Chase asked " I need to talk to you...alone " Daniel said. Chase looked at me and Kalinth.
" I'll see you guys back at the room. It won't take long " Chase said. Kalinth and I nodded in response.

Kalinth and I were patiently waiting for Chase to open the door. " Where is he???!! " I asked " I'm sure he'll be here soon Nyx. Even if he doesn't come you know he will leave a message for us " Kalinth said. I sighed. " You're right " I said.

It has been 2 hours and Chase still hasn't returned from his meeting with Daniel.

The door opened...

" Chase!! " Kalinth and I both said
" Not Chase. It's Daniel " we heard. I stood in front of Kalinth protectively because the way Daniel spoke...it was creepy. " What do you want?! Where's Chase?! " I asked " Chase had to go on a mission " Daniel said " Why didn't he tell us?? " Kalinth asked " I don't know but he'll be back " I said. Daniel was still standing at the doorway. " Can I help you???!!!! " I asked/said " Yes. Put these on " Daniel said and threw two uniforms at me, which I caught. They were assassin uniforms. " What is this for?! " I asked " You and Kalinth are going on your first mission. Meet me in my office when you're ready " Daniel said them left.

Once Kalinth and I were dressed, we walked to Daniel's office. " Your first mission wouldn't be easy " Daniel said " What?! Why not?! It's our first mission!! " Kalinth said
" Too bad! Now here's a folder with the information on your target. Take your weapons just incase " Daniel said.

Kalinth and I both got ready and we only took blades with us, not like we'll need them.

A helicopter was waiting for me and Kalinth. When we got in, our location was Kansas...
