It's been driving Chase crazy since became mute again. I stopped training. I'm mostly in Daniel's office. " Nyx why haven't you been training??? " Daniel asked " Because I don't want to " I said. Daniel dropped the cup of water on the floor and shattered. " You spoke...to me " Daniel said. I just shrugged. " I could care less about becoming an assassin. I just want these nightmares and memories to end " I said. Daniel looked at me with confusion. " Nightmares?? Have you told Chase?? " Daniel asked " I don't talk anymore. I'm mute " I said.

Daniel and I talked until it was time for me to go back to my room.

" Nyx where have you been?! Do you know how worry I was!!?? " Chase asked/said. I didn't bother to look up at him as I went to bed.

I watched him leave...

Leave out of our lives...

I never understood why he would leave me...us

But he did and he didn't look back at me as I yelled his name over and over again.

I was a little girl that needed protection but I guess he didn't care...

He has been gone for years...

I don't even know if he's still alive or dead...

But now I know why he left...

It was to go on a mission...
