Misaki's POV

"I don't like where this is heading, Misaki. What if you get caught?" Cerberus asked in a worried tone. I just shrugged my shoulders as I tried to type in the coordinates of the Leaf Village. I want to go back there because I miss everyone.

Being stuck here in this castle is too boring. "Misaki, where are you?" Azazel called. "He's looking for you." Cerberus informed. I decided to pause on this for a minute and see what Azazel wants. "There you are. Father wants to have a word with you." He said.

I followed him down the hall and towards a big door. "Father, I brought her." Azazel said. The door slowly opened and there, sat a man with huge wings on his back. Was this my father? The man looked up from his book to look at me.

"Welcome home, Misaki." He said. I kind of wasn't paying attention to him since small, white feathers were all over the place. Literally. They were falling from the ceiling. I think these might be father's.

"Come, my child." He said, motioning me to come forward. At least, that's what I think he was doing. I was too distracted by the falling feathers. "Hey, he's talking to you." Azazel said, nudging my back. "It's all right, Azazel. Misaki is still young." Father defended.

As a white feather was falling, I tried to catch it. But it kept floating out of my hands. I began to chase it until Father caught it. "Are you interested in the feathers?" He asked me with a calm smile.

I nodded my head as I climbed on his lap in attempt to get the feather back. "Man, she acts like a kid." Azazel mentioned. "True, but you can't blame her. She has been living on Earth almost her whole life," Father handed me the feather so I could stop reaching for it.

"Although, it does concern me why she won't talk. Are you afraid of something, Misaki? Is that why you refuse to talk?" Father asked me. I shook my head  as I gazed at the feather. "Misaki, look at me when I'm talking to you." He ordered.

I ignored him until he took my chin and made me look at him. "Why aren't you in your demon form? You can be free to express yourself here, Misaki. You're home." Father said. I reached up and gently tugged on Father's horn.

"You act like you've never seen a demon before." Fatehr said with a small chuckle before gently petting my head. "How come you don't talk, Misaki? It's not like Father's going to punish you if you do." Azazel said. Ugh, all these questions are so tiresome.

I need to get out of here. I sneezed before rubbing my nose. "Aw, she's so adorable when she does that!" Cerberus squealed. "Hey, who let you in, Guard Dog?" Azazel said with a frown. "Hey, I'm family, too!" She frowned back.

"You smell. Go outside for a bit."

"Rude!"

"You're too loud."

"Lord Lucifer! He's being mean!"

"Enough, both of you." Father said, silencing the two of them. "Hmph. Fine. Misaki, come play with me!" Cerberus said. I jumped off Father's lap and Cerberus and I ran out of the room.

Azazel's POV

"She definitely gets weirder by the hour." I said. "It's not nice to talk about your sister in that manner." Father said. "Father, I think something might be wrong with Misaki. She doesn't seem to be acting like herself." I noticed.

"Misaki just needs time adjusting her to her home. She's still the sister you know and love." He said as he read his book. "Of course, I love her. But still... Something seems off about her." I said. I summoned a mirror to see what Misaki and Cerberus were up to.

Misaki was hiding behind a couch while Cerberus was pretending to find her. It looked like they were playing hide-and-seek. "Misaki seems to be more comfortable around Cerberus." I noticed. "Probably because she's a female." Father said.

"And she also seems to like being in her angel form than her regular, demon form." I added. "Oh, thanks for bringing that up. I think I found out how Misaki was able to turn herself into an angel." He said.

"You do?!"

"Yes. I went through the timeline on Earth and I went back to when Misaki was growing up."

"What did you find?"

"I found that Misaki didn't turn herself into a angel, but a human did."

"A human? Are you sure?"

"Yes. Misaki was incapable of using her demon powers at the time. But someone with enough knowledge and the right tools, they could've easily turned her into something she's not."

"But who would have that kind of knowledge to turn her into an angel? Are you saying that was the same person who tore off her wing?"

"It's a possibility."

"Then, who?"

Father closed his book before standing up. "Someone who knew Misaki as she was growing up." He said. I frowned when I knew who it was. "That bastard, Kakashi Hatake." I growled. It had to be him. "Don't jump to conclusions, Azazel. You don't even know if it really was him." Father said.

"It had to be him. He was the only one with Misaki as she growing up! Who else could it be?" I snapped. "If you'd like, you can look into the matter a bit more. However, you mustn't do anything rash, Azazel." He said.

"Oh, don't worry. I won't." I said, leaving the room. The only thing I'll be doing is killing Kakashi Hatake for turning my sister into a half angel and for tearing off her wing.

Kakashi's POV

I couldn't stop thinking about Alice. Ever since she left, she was the only thing I could think about. I couldn't even read my manga. I was supposed to give the team their passes for the Chunin Exams, but I didn't want to see anyone today.

I just wanted to stay home. A picture of Misaki and I was sitting on top of a fire mantel, making me smile a little. Who was Misaki trying to get away from? "I sure do miss you, Misaki." I whispered with a sad smile.

"Kakashi, are you in there?" Iruka called as he knocked on my front door. I got up from the couch and answered the door. "Hey, Kakashi." Iruka greeted. "Hello, Iruka." I greeted back. "Did you forget about the Chunin Exams today? You were supposed to go tell your team about it." He said.

"No, I didn't forget. I was just... busy here." I lied. "Listen, I heard about what happened with Alice. I'm sorry to hear that. But at least she's home now." Iruka said. 'That doesn't really cheer me up, Iruka' I thought, deadpanning.

"I'll catch up with my team in a minute. I just have to check something." I said. "Fine, but make sure you inform your team." Iruka said. I gave a nod before he left. I left the house, going back to the woods where I found Alice's wing.

I know Alice's real name is Misaki, but I like calling her Alice. I found the wing and picked it up. Last time I found this, I got a vision of Alice as she was being chased by someone. I want to know how she lost it. I looked towards the sky when I saw a bolt of lightning.

But it's not supposed to rain today, and there's no storm clouds. Where did that lightning bolt come from? I decided to ignore it for now and give the team their passes for the Chunin Exams.

Misaki's POV

Aw, man. The machine sent me too far. I'm not even close to Kakashi's house. It's okay. At least I know where I am. "This is a bad idea, Misaki. You should've at least told your father you were coming here." Cerberus said.

Oh, yeah. I also brought Cerberus with me because I needed some company with me. Cerberus sighed before asking, "Which way?" I looked around, then pointed to the trail in front of me. "Misaki, why don't we work on your speech?" Cerberus suggested.

I raised a brow at her. Speech? What does she mean? "Well, Azazel said you haven't been able to talk for six years. Maybe we can change that." She said. I shrugged, thinking 'why not?'

"Perfect. Okay, let's try saying a small word, like 'Hello'. It's easy." Cerberus said. I nodded slightly and tried to give it a shot. "He... Hel... lo..." I sounded it out. "Perfect! Again!" She encouraged. "Hel... lo.." I tried again.

"Again! One more time!" She said happily as her tail wagged. "...Hello." I said, then gasped. I spoke! "Very, very good, Misaki!" Cerberus cheered. I smiled and said it again. "Hello."

"Perfect! Now let's try saying your name. Repeat after me: Misaki. Feel free to sound it out." Cerberus said. "Mi... sa... ki..." I sounded out. "Misa... ki..." I tried again.

I lifted my head when I heard a twig snap. "Trouble." I said quickly. "That's a new word. I'm impressed that you were able to say that so quickly without sounding it out." Cerberus said, amused. I shook my head.

"Trouble." I said again. "Where?" She asked. I pointed towards the Leaf Village. "Kakashi." I said. I looked at Cerberus as one of her ears twitched. "Misaki, we should look into the matter a little bit more later. Right now, we have to go back home." Cerbrus said.

I shook my head and pointed at the Leaf Village again. "Trouble. Kakashi." I repeated. "We'll worry about that later. We have to go now. Now, before Lord Lucifer finds us out." Cerberus said urgently.

I sighed in defeat before we headed back home. But I couldn't shake this bad feeling off me. Why do I get the feeling something bad is going to happen to Kakashi?
