Kakashi's POV
I watched over Alice as she picked out flowers. I couldn't stop thinking about Alice's transformation. There has to be a reason why, how, she was able to do that. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Sasuke scream.
I looked towards Alice and saw that she had Sasuke in a possessive hold; Sasuke was lying on the ground while Alice was sitting on Sasuke's back with her arms were held against his throat. I raised a brow at them. "What just happened?" I asked them.
"I was just wondering what Alice was doing and she attacked me." Sasuke explained. "Ow!" Alice's grip became more firm as she tightened her arms on Sasuke's neck. "Alice, let him go before you choke him to death." I said.
Alice did as I said and released Sasuke, but stayed sitting on his back. "Alice, come over here for a second." I said. She smiled and skipped over to me. "Alice, I know you may not like this idea, but how about you start... speaking. You know, like, using words." I said.
Alice blinked her eyes before shaking her head, no. "Why not? Are you afraid something will happen if you talk?" I asked. Alice looked at the ground with a frown as I scratched the back of my head, trying to think of something.
"Okay, let's see. Alice, if you're afraid to talk, then why did you call to me the day your father came to take you back?" I asked. "He was not my father." Alice frowned while using her sign language. "Huh? He wasn't? Then, who was he?" I asked.
Alice shrugged her shoulders. "Alice, remember when you fought Zabuza? That big guy with the huge sword? You remember him?" I asked her. Alice gave a closed eye smile before nodding her head. "That form you took when you were fighting him. Could you show me?" I requested.
Alice, once again, nodded her head. She took a step back and, like last time, a black and blue flame surrounded her. When it faded, Alice was in her other form. She looked like a demon. But what concerned me was that Alice only had one wing.
What happened to other one? Maybe I should ask her. "Alice, do you remember anything about your past? Anything at all?" I asked her. Alice stared at me with a frown, as if she didn't like it when I asked her that question.
Something tells me she has a whole different personality when it comes to this form. Not only that, but Alice was taller than me in this form!
Alice's POV
I stared down at Kakashi while a thought came into my head. No, it looked more like an image than a thought. I could see a man with a kind smile and long black hair, along with onyx eyes. Do I know this man? "Naomi...."
Why does he call me Naomi? He and Sasuke have called me that. Why? No, why am I seeing something like this? What does it mean? I don't understand.
Sasuke's POV
"Kakashi-sensei," I walked over to him as I saw Naomi, or Alice, was in her demonic-looking form. "What's wrong with Naomi?" I asked. "I have no idea. I asked her to transform into... "this", and she just froze up. She's been staring off into space for five minutes." He explained.
I looked at Naomi as she stood still. "Naomi, can you hear me?" I asked. She didn't respond as she just stood there. I couldn't believe Naomi was alive from the massacre. I thought she was dead.
(Flashback)
I was walking home from the academy to tell my parents, Itachi, and Naomi that I got good grades today. Naomi couldn't come today because she was sick. I was about to enter my house until I heard Father yelling, "Look at what you did!"
What's going on? I entered my house and took off my shoes before heading towards the living room. "What were you thinking?! I told not to touch this!" My father yelled at Naomi. "It was accident, Father. She didn't know any better." Itachi defended.
"Shut up! I'm tired of you defending her! She knows how to follow the rules!" Father yelled. I looked at Naomi as she held her cheek while tears streamed down her face. I also noticed her cheek was red. Did Father slap her?
"Mom, what happened?" I asked as she stood near the entrance of the living room. "Naomi accidentally knocked over a vase and now, you're father's upset." She explained. "I've told her countless times not to touch it, and now look what she did!" Father yelled.
"It was an accident, Dad. You can't expect her be careful all the time. She's still young." Itachi said. "That's not an excuse for her to act like an idiot!" Father yelled at him. "Fugaku, that's enough!" Mom screamed.
Naomi closed her eyes tightly before running out of the house. "Naomi, wait!" I called to her. "Naomi!" Itachi ran after her. I looked back at Father as he frowned. He scoffed before leaving to his room.
Two hours later, Itachi returned, but Naomi wasn't with him. "Where is she? Where's Naomi?" I asked him. "I've looked everywhere, but I couldn't find her." Itachi said. "But where could she be? She can't be out there by herself! She could get hurt!" I said.
"Sasuke, calm down," Itachi kneeled down so he was at eye level with me. "I'll look for her again tomorrow. I'm sure she's fine out there. Naomi's a strong girl." He assured me. I hope what he's saying was true.
(End of Flashback)
But Naomi never did come home. We've searched for months and we still couldn't find her. "Sasuke," I hummed in response as I looked at Kakashi. "Did your parents adopt Alice from somewhere?" He asked me. I shook my head.
"It was raining one night and my parents heard crying outside our front door. We opened it and we found a small infant, wrapped in a cloth with some weird pattern on it. So, of course, we had to adopt her. We couldn't just let her freeze." I said.
Kakashi and I looked back at Alice when she turned back to her human form. She lost her balance for a second, but I quickly caught her. "Are you all right?" I asked. Alice smiled at me with her eyes closed and nodded her head, yes.
"Where'd you go? You've been staring off into space for a while." I said. Alice yawned and leaned on me as she closed her eyes. "She's... tired?" I asked. Kakashi only shrugged his shoulders. "Let's go back inside." He suggested. I lead Naomi back inside.
When we entered the kitchen, Alice ran upstairs and I heard the door close. I didn't hear anything for a while, so I figured she was asleep.
Alice's POV
"You seem pretty talented when it comes to braiding? Have you done this before?" Sakura asked me. I nodded my head as I continued to braid her hair. "Alice, what's Kakashi like as a father? Well, I guess I shouldn't be asking that since you can't talk." She said.
I blinked in confusion as I was finished braiding her hair. "Oh, wait. That kind of reminds me. That form you had when you were fighting that ninja. I noticed you had one wing. Do you know what happened to the other one?" She asked.
Now that she said out loud, I have noticed I had one wing in my demon form. But I can't remember what happened to it. Maybe I was only born with one wing. I leaned near Sakura's neck and sniffed. "You smell different today, Sakura." I mentioned, using my sign language.
"How so?" She asked. "Last time, you smelled and tasted like strawberries, and today, you smell like cherry blossoms. I wonder if you take like cherries?" I responded, leaning towards her. "Hey, wait a second! What does that suppose to mean?!" Sakura asked, a bit freaked out.
I silenced her as I pressed my lips against hers. I pushed her down, dominating the kiss. As I thought, she does taste like cherries. I wonder how she does that? Sakura placed her hands on my shoulders, trying to push me off her.
I frowned and grabbed her wrists, pinning them by her head. I moved down her neck, nipping it slightly. I heard a soft moan escape her mouth, making me smirk. I gently kissed her neck for a minute and Sakura relaxed under my hold.
I kissed her again, in which she kissed back. I traced my tongue along her bottom lip, asking for entrance. When she refused, my hand trailed down to her side. She squeaked and I took the opportunity to slide my tongue past her lips.
My tongue twirled with hers as I deepened the kiss. Another soft moan left Sakura's mouth. But despite of this, I could feel that she was really tense. She should really learn to relax a bit. I disengaged out mouths and sat up.
I looked down at Sakura as she laid there from the lack of oxygen and her face was flushed. I giggled slightly and kissed her forehead. I waved goodbye before leaving the room and heading to Kakashi's room.
Sakura's POV
After I calmed down, I sat up to see Alice was already gone. Just why the hell does she keep doing that?! Does she seriously like me in that kind of way? What's even more weird is that, I keep falling for her traps. It's like she's cast a spell on me.
I keep falling under her spell whenever Alice tries to seduce me. But she doesn't go far. All she really does is kiss me. Is she playing a trick on me or does she really just likes girls?
Kakashi's POV (An Hour Later)
"Come on, Alice. Stop moving around so much. You need to be clean." I said as I tried to hold her still in the tub. Alice frowned as she continued to wriggle herself out of my hold. "Alice, stop squirming so much. Do you want to smell like dirt all night?" I asked as I tried wash her body.
Alice would usually be able to clean herself at this age, but she acts like a little kid at the time when it comes to this. "Alice, if you don't stay still, I'll take away your cat doll." I threatened. Alice gasped softly when she heard that sentence and stayed still.
"Good." I said before washing her back. Alice pouted as she let me wash her. "I know you probably hate me for this, but you still need to be clean." I said to her. She glanced at me with a frown and stuck her tongue out at me.
I gently petted her head, then continued to wash her. Alice stared down at the bubbles in the tub, as if thinking. "Alice, what are you thinking about?" I asked her as I washed her hair. She looked at me and shook her head, telling me she wasn't thinking about anything.
Alice put her hands to her mouth and began to cough. "Are you all right?" I asked. She stopped coughing and nodded her head. "All right. Alice, I want to talk to you about something." I said. Alice turned and faced me, giving me her full attention.
"It's about you and Sakura. Do you... like Sakura?" I asked. I kind of heard Sakura moaned earlier today when I was upstairs. Alice nodded her head with a closed eye smile. "She's really sweet." She said, using her sign language. "Yeah, she's sweet. But do, like, like-like her?" I asked.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean, um. Well, I mean..."
'How do I explain it to her?' I thought. I glanced at Alice as she was about to put a bubble in her mouth. "Don't eat the bubbles, Alice." I said with a sigh and continued to clean her. After Alice's bath, I dressed her in her pajamas and she climbed into bed.
I was about to leave her room until she grabbed my hand. "What's wrong?" I asked. Alice sat up and began writing on the piece of paper that was on the nightstand. "I'm scared." She wrote. "What are you scared of, Alice?" I said, sitting beside her.
She scribbled a few words on the paper before showing it to me: "Of what will happen when I fall asleep."
"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"Every time I fall asleep, I get these images in my head. I keep seeing a man with long black hair and onyx eyes. He looks a little bit like Sasuke, but older. He keeps calling me Naomi, and I don't know why. I've never met this man before, but I'm certain he may be a bad person." She wrote.
Could she be talking about Itachi? "You'll be all right." I said, petting her head. Alice gave me a look of uncertainty before turning on her side, facing the wall. I looked at her as she quickly fell asleep. "Goodnight, Alice." I said before kissing her forehead.
I left her room, closing the door behind me, then headed to my room.
