Raylen's POV

I woke, shooting forward on my bed. I breathed heavily. I had won that contest in 2000 along with Kylie. We had done what we said we were going to do with it. She saved most and splurged on herself. I saved it all. Most went to my life saving, but a little went to a seperate account, one where the sole purpose was to collect 2.5 million dollars. I was more than half way there. The reason I needed so much money. An operation which would allow me to finally talk, hopefully. I was a mute. Had been since I was born. So to communicate, I used music, writing and sign language. 

"Raylen! Your brother's coming back today. Get out of bed." My mum shouted up the stairs.

I bolted from my bed. I spilled a black pair of jeans on with a red shirt that had an angel on the front of it. Pulling my hair back into a ponytail, I ran downstairs.

"What time does he get here?" I signed. My mum chuckled. She knew that I loved my twin more than anything.

"Twenty minutes." I began to jump up and down in happiness.

~timeskip of twenty minutes~

I heard the car pull up in the drive way. Running outside, I saw my brother and his friends getting out of the car. I tackled my brother onto the grass, giving him a huge hug.

He laughed. "I missed you too, Raylen." I got off him and turned to his friends.

"S'up nerds?" I signed. They had started laughing when I had tackled my brother, but now they managed to stop.

"S'up Ray? When's your next preformance?" Ashley, my brother's bestfriend asked.

"Tonight."

"Tonight?" My brother was surprised. He didn't usually get to come to a show so he would probably want to go.  I nodded the affirmative and skipped over to Ashley to give him his hug. He hugged me back before I was ripped out of his arms by CC. I glared because he had my arms pinned so I couldn't say anything. I made small hand motions to do miniature sign language.

"Let me go." I signed, squirming slightly. CC hugged me tighly before releasing me. I hugged Jinxx and Jake before running inside. I grabbed my phone and open the app that let's you see how much money you have in your bank account. I showed Andy, who immediately began beaming. 

"1.5 million. You have 1.5 million now?" He demanded. I nodded energetically and he hugged me again. The other guys had heard what Andy said and they instantly wanted to see. S howed them that I did in fact have 1.5 million dollars saved up. We went inside and talked about the tour.

That night at the show, I was nervous. My brother hadn't seen my live preformance since I was on the talent show. Kylie walked up to me.

"Did I see who I think I saw in the audience?" She asked.

"If you mean Ash and everyone, yeah." I responded.

"We gonna do the song we've been practicing?" I nodded, smiling. We got told to get on stage by the stage manager so we grabbed out instruments.

I should probably describe where we're preforming. It's this tiny concert hall in the middle of town. it hold about 300 people and it looks kinda like the Toronto Opera House. It's mosh pit style and the floor was packed. My brother and his friends were standing near the front by the security guards and thankfully hadn't been recognized yet.

We walked out onto stage to be met by the cheers of the crowd. I played a rift, causing the cheers to become screams.

"Well that was Raylen's hello." Kylie laughed. "How are you guys?" She asked the crowd. The screams were loud and calming. "Glad to hear it. Our first song is dedicated ti Raylen's brother, who here fresh off of tour. It's his first time seeing her preform in a long time, so we're gonna give a good show. What do ya think?"

I smiled at the fans who were enjoying themselves already.

"This first song is called Revelation by Black Veil Brides."

I smirked at the guys who got shocked looks on their faces as I began playing.

"The glory of a nation dies,
The symbol of this war is coming
What is meant to save our lives from F.E.A.R.'s religion." Kylie began singing. My brother and everyone else of BVB had their mouths open in shock, though part of that could be. the fact that we were doing one of their songs sans everything but guitar and vocal. Eh, it worked.

"That was AMAZING!" Andy yelled, hugging me close to him. I smiled and hugged him back. He let me go to hug Kylie and I proceeded to give out hugs to everyone else.

"Thanks." Kylie chirped.

"How'd you guys do that with Revelation?" Ashley asked.

"I combined Jinxx and Jake's parts with a little of Ashley's thrown in." I replied. They were throughly impressed.

"What else can you do?" CC wondered.

"King for a Day, Damned if I Do Ya, I'm not a vampire, all of you guys' songs." Kylie listed off. I blushed.

"All of them?" The guys were surprised.

"Even from Sex & Hollywood." I added. The looks of amazement made me blush harder. I still wasn't used to praise even after doing this for so long.

"Why?" Andy asked.

"Because home is with you. And when I listen to or play your music, I'm home. Even if you're not there." I answered honestly. the guys aww'd and I play. glared. "Shut up."
