The next day Cyan was standing outside on the balcony drinking a coffee she made. Cyan was looking at the horizon as some sea mutants swam through the water on the horizon, only coming up to get some air every now and then. She sighed as her thoughts went back to the day's before the entire mutants uprising.

She then looked at her arm that still had a scar on her arm from where her father had injected a strange substance into her a week after the uprising. She still remembers the look her father had on his face that day, the look of both regret and hope. However she never managed to get answers as to what he put into her, all she knew is that whatever it was her dad both regretted it and hoped it would do something for her.

'Dad I wish you were here you could've told me what that chemical was.' Cyan thought to herself as she looked at her arm again.

She sighed again then looked inside through the widows where she could see the skeletal remains of her family.

'What is wrong with me? I know my parents are dead but why can't I bury them? Am I sick in the head? Why can't I accept it?' Cyan thought to herself as she sighed. Upset over the idea of practically being trapped in her own fantasy world where her parents are alive and not dead.

Cyan sighed and looked away from the kitchen and just focused back on the horizon. She finished up what was left of her coffee before going inside to collect her things as she had to go out for a supply run. Cyan went inside and went to her room to get her suit and what else she'll need for the outside world.

Thankfully she doesn't need much, just a pump and some tanks for water as water is what she's low on. Cyan then grabbed her suit that was laying on her work desk before placing the slim metal circle on her chest. Her suit then clicked and started forming around her and soon it was fully on and once it was fully formed it clicked right into place. After the click it locked allowing Cyan to run around in it as much as she could without it moving around. After her suit was on Cyan grabbed her pump and tanks along with Iggy and left the house to the one safe place for humans and mutants.

Cyan was using her suit to get to her destination for about an hour now and she had finally arrived at her destination. Cyan climbed up a rig with Iggy on her back and when she arrived at the watering hole she smiled at the lovely sight.

A large crystal clear pool of fresh blue water with lots of vegetation growing around it. Most of all there were mutants there as well drinking the water, both vegetarians and ones that have eaten humans where peacefully enjoying the water. This was the only Place Cyan knew where mutants were peaceful and not trying to eat one another and her.

Cyan looked at her back where Iggy was, but she didn't see him there she looked around and saw him playing with other Iguina and Pterodactyl hybrids that were small like him. Cyan smiled as she got to work getting the water she needs as well as some R&R time as she hasn't had that in a while.

'Man I remember times before this whole mess happened back when Humans weren't on the endangered list, now it's just me and who knows who else out there.' Cyan thought to herself as she finished collecting the water.

After collecting all the wall Cyan rested for a bit wanting to let the stress of having to hunt and hide wear off. Cyan laid back and looked up at the sky watching the clouds pass by as the mutants around her drank out of the watering hole.

'Man I wish I could have more moments like this more often... back before my life was ruined forever, before my old house was destroyed, before the mutants came, before... before my parents died. Why can't I just bury them? Why do I imagine that they're still alive after all this time?' Cyan asked herself as she questioned her own sanity. 'I want them back... *sniff* I just want them to come back, all I want is just to have my old life back.' Cyan thought to herself.

She sighed before looking out to the pack of large mutants, she then saw one that was an alligator combined with a hack growl and one that was a snake combined with a lizard as it got too close. The two mutants started growling at one another and looked like a fight was about to go down. Not wanting to get involved, Cyan collected her things and whistled, getting Iggy's attention. The little mutant flew up to Cyan and got on her armored shoulders as he knew that it was time for them to go. So once Iggy was securely on Cyan's shoulders she started making her way back home to rest up and get a shower.

Back in the underground bunker CJ and his friends were in a big arena having just gotten done with training with their power suits.

"Ugh Fuck! I'm dead!" Mort exclaimed feeling exhausted.

"You tell me man I wish those suits wouldn't drain us so much!" Jolie exclaimed.

"Me too but that's how they work... although I do wish they could be more effective, after all if they were we'd have a better chance of survival and fighting back against the mutants." Marie explained.

"Yeah there's hardly any humans left and what's left of us hide underground like moles! Agh! I just want all these goddamn mutants to keel over and DIE! If they did we'd get back what was once ours and humanity would rise up once again!" CJ exclaimed angrily as he wished for things to change.

"Don't let others hear you say that, most people here are too cowardly to go out and try to take care of thies monsters. Not to mention that some of them believe that the moment they go outside they'll be eaten alive." Jolie explained.

"HEY YOU FOUR!" A stern strict voice screamed.

The four looked and saw their general standing in front of them with a stern and serious look on his face. The four stood up, lined up, and saluted their general as they were very intimidated by him.

"Listen up you four! We're sending you all out to get us some more tetratory for our farm lands!" The General commanded.

"YES SIR!" The four all replied together.

They then left to go suit up for their mission outside, they all hoped that this mission would be successful.

"Guys, are you sure we can do this?" CJ asked.

"Bro I know we can do this! We've been working hard on all our missons so I know we can do this!" Mort exclaimed.

"Yeah, you say that, but like the saying goes. It's easier said than done." CJ explained.

"With that kind of an attitude it is, but we can do this CJ! All you gotta do is believe we can do it!" Marie explained.

"Yeah, we'll get that land and finally show that ass hole Ercole that we aren't some pushovers!" Jolie exclaimed excitedly.

"Yeah that's true, hopefully if we succeed then Ercole will lay off and stop insulting us." CJ said.

The four were soon fully suited up and ready to head out. They made their way to the exit and when they arrived they saw some of their relatives who were still alive. For Marie it was her brother, Mort his aunt, Jolie her cousin, and CJ it was his dad. CJ cringed a bit as he and his dad's relationship had become very strained ever since the mutant uprising.

"Hey Marie, please be careful while you're out there." Marie's brother said as he worried about his sister.

"Don't worry bro I'll be fine!" Marie said, reassuring her brother.

Mort, and Jolie were also asked to be careful by their family, however CJ's dad had something to say that wasn't very reassuring.

"CJ I hope you can do this as I want to finally be able to not look like a fool in front of everyone." CJ's dad said.

CJ didn't say anything and just pushed past his dad and opened the large metal doors. He and the other three then left the base and they all headed out to gain more territory.

Meanwhile Cyan was back in her own home putting the water she collected into the tank.

'Good that's done, now I better go and get some more material for my weapons, make some more weapons, and put them into my suit.' Cyan thought to herself.

She picked up Iggy again and left again to get the material to make her weapons. Iggy cuddled around her neck and nuzzled her face as he thoughts she'd need it. Cyan smiled and pat Iggy's head as he nuzzled her and nuzzled him right back. She was glad that she had Iggy by her side as she believed she'd never get through any of this if she was all alone.

'Alright let's get going Iggy and get some items to make more weapons to kill all these monsters and erase them from the face of the planet!' Cyan thought to herself.

Later on CJ and the others were all making their way to the area where there was still some fertilized land. They made sure to be as quiet as possible as one wrong move could result in them all getting killed as it could alert a mutant nearby.

"Do you all see or hear anything?" CJ asked.

"Nope not yet, I feel like that's good though." Mort said.

"Don't get your hopes up, for all we know a mutant could be underground waiting for its next meal." Marie said.

"Yeah she's right, so even if we don't see anything right now that doesn't mean we won't later." Jolie stated.

The others all nodded their heads and continued on their way to the area. They all soon arrived and looked around for anything that would interfere with the farming.

"Alright let's look around and see if there's anything or anyone who'd interfere with the farming process." CJ said.

"Yeah! Lets do this!" Mort exclaimed and ran off to search the area for anything that would stop them from farming.

Marie and Jolie also started looking, while CJ sent a message to their commander letting him know they found the land and were now searching for threats.

After CJ sent the message he said "Alright message sent now time to help out in the search."

CJ then joined in the search and hoped that there wasn't anything that would prevent from farming. If that was the case then they would fail on their mission and that was the last thing he wanted. He wanted to show everyone that he and his friends weren't some wimps and could do big things. About five minutes later CJ, Marie, and Jolie all heard an explosion and Mort screaming.

"AHHH! FUCK!" Mort screamed thru the com. "OH SHIT! MORT!" CJ screamed.

"HANG IN THEIR MORT WE'RE COMING!" Marie screamed into the com as she ran to Mort.

The three soon arrived to where Mort's suit signal was coming from and they saw Mort on the ground dazed. Not too far away from him there was a crater that was formed from what looked like a bomb.

"Mort! Are you alright?!" Jolie asked as she ran up to him.

"Ugh! Yeah I think I'm good." Mort said.

"Dude what happened here?!" CJ Asked worriedly.

"There was a mine planted here and I didn't see it so I stepped on it and it went boom!" Mort explained.

"Well thankfully your suit keeps you safe from the explosion, but who planted it here?" Marie asked.

"I think I might know, look guys!" Jolie said as she pointed to a nearby wall that had a red symbol painted on it.

The symbol itself was a red wolf alpha with two swords going through it.

"Dam Red Alpha 10! They must've found this place before we got here!" CJ exclaimed.

"Yeah! We better get going then, before a mutant or one of their own comes and-!" Mort was saying but stopped when he suddenly felt the ground shake violently.

The four looked ahead and saw that something was borrowing under the ground and heading right to them.

"OH SHIT! GUYS RUN FOR IT!" CJ yelled.

The four then started making a run for it as they knew if the mutant had caught them then they'd be dead.

"WHAT DO WE DO?! WHAT DO WE DO?!" Jolie asked in a panic.

"I DON'T KNOW! JUST FALL BACK AND WE'LL THINK OF SOMETHING TO DO ABOUT THE MUTANT!" Marie screamed back.

The group ran into a destroyed city hoping that they'd find somewhere to get off the ground. Due to the mutant being a browning one they believe it won't be able to get to them. They hoped that if it couldn't sense their footsteps on the ground anymore then it would leave them alone.

"Guys up there!" CJ yelled, then pointed to a destroyed building that had one of its walls completely destroyed.

However this was good for them as they could use the upper floors of the building to get away from the mutant.

"Awesome! Good eyes CJ! Let's get up there and hope that this son of a bitch will leave us alone!" Mort yelled.

The two girls nodded and the four friends all ran up to the building to hide from the mutant. They used some of the rubble to climb up to the fourth floor, they also had to push some of the vines out of their way. This was because mother nature had turned most of the area into her little playground.

"Ack! There's so many vines here!" Marie exclaimed.

"Yeah mother nature really had taken over after the human race almost became extinct." Jolie explained.

"Well let's hope that mutants will leave us alone now." CJ said as he and his friends all rested on the fourth floor.

However as the four just started to relax they felt the ground shake violently. They all went up to the edge and looked down to see the ground pushed up. Then to their horror they saw the ground start to part ways as the mutant started to dig out of the ground. The mutant then bursted out of the ground and it was a combination of a mole and a centipede. The mutant then started climbing up the building and tried to grab onto them. They all backed up and screamed at the top of their lungs, while also calling out for help.

Meanwhile Cyan was collecting some items she needed for the tech she was working on. As she was collecting she heard some screams and roars in the distance. She looked in the direction where the screams were coming from. She wondered if she should investigate or not, in the past she was deceived by other humans she had met. However as she heard the voices call out for help her heart ached.

This brought back the memories of when she was young and alone after her parents died. Back then she'd always call out for help and cry many times before finding the armor in her fathers old lab. After finding the armor she wasn't as scared anymore and with Iggy she became even more confident.

Cyan sighed and decided to investigate the source of the screams, to see if they needed help. Using the suit's super jump she arrived in the area and saw a mutant combined with a mole and centipede trying to climb into a destroyed building. Cyan could tell that the screams were coming from the building so she decided to kill the mutant and save the people.

She hated the mutants more than anything in the world (aside from Iggy) and was determined to erase them from existence. So she used her blaster and shot the mutant right in the side. This had resulted in its attention being turned towards her. When the mutant saw her standing on the rubble it roared and charged right at her.

Cyan smiled under her helmet as she had a plan in her head to kill it. Before the mutant could even attack Cyan jumped into the air as the mutant charged into the area she used to be in.

She then used her suit's powers to form plasma blades, and then she flipped herself upside down. She then used her suits air presser to make herself spin around like a drill and she put her plasma blade in front of her. Making her body into a self made drill and before the mutant could move again, she drilled right into its body. As she drilled into the mutant's body it screamed in agony as she went into its body. Soon Cyan drilled all the way through and landed right underneath the mutant, absolutely covered in its green blood.

The mutant staggered a bit as it slowly started to die from the bleeding. Cyan ran out from underneath it and fired a large blast at the mutant's head. When the blast hit the mutant it was left with a large hole in its face. It then fell to the ground dead, and Cyan stood there proud of herself, and her work on killing the mutant.

She then heard Iggy screeching and she looked to see him flying right to her. Cyan smiled and held her arm out, signaling for him to land on it. Iggy landed on Cyan's arm and then crawled up to her helmet and nuzzled it gently. Cyan returned the nuzzle right back while smiling warmly under her helmet.

"WOW! THAT WAS AWESOME!" Cyan heard someone say.

She looked and saw four other people running to her and Iggy. Cyan froze in place as she hadn't seen people in such a long time. The last time she saw other people wasn't a very good experience. They just wanted her for her weapons and tech, so they tried to force her to leave her home and make weapons for them. So she had to kill them out of self defense as she didn't want to leave, let alone become a possible slave.

"Hey! You were epic there! I'm Mort and these are my friends. That's CJ, Jolie, and Maire, what's your name?" Mort asked.

Cyan didn't answer for a moment as she didn't know what to do as she couldn't talk. She looked around for some way to speak to them. When she looked at the blood coating her armor, then to a nearby wall. The wall itself was blank and Cyan got an idea on how she could communicate with them.

She walked up to the wall and the four all followed her, curious as to what she'd do. Once Cyan was close enough to the wall she started writing "My name is Cyan, Nice to see some humans again. I've been alone for a very long time."
