"You don't scare me, Valeria, you don't scare me!".Athena said as she walked into the back of the shop to get some hair toner her client in the chair Lacy Hawthrone was getting her hair dyed blonde it was the second time Lacy had come to her to dye her hair some color to dye it in the next 3 to 4 months after Athena's hard work was finally done on the other hand Valeria aka val Athena's ride or die was doing someones nails val kept trying to scare her by saying they knew the blond dude from the car race that Saturday and she "dated" him in high school as if Athena was like the biggest need in high school their yearbook even said "The nerdiest girl in school" under her senior picture."Athena I would never lie to you I promise you look at my face would I ever lie to you?".Val said as Athena walked back to her station with the toner in hand and ignored the girl trying to do her job and not talk to her friend Val "This might sting Lacy but it's just going to light up the blonde from that brassy color and make it a lighter blonder, okay?" Athena said as she mixed up the toner before mixing the toner with the developer and mixing it as she got her assistant to damping lacy's hair as she mixed the toner up. Suddenly a blond man with sunglasses on came into the salon "I'm sorry to bother you ladies but I'm looking for Athena Grace Rockwell?" Athena froze and her heart dropped before she muttered a word "That would be me sir." Athena said as she stepped away from her client and the girl next to her took over "Hello I'm Officer Brian O'conner would you follow me outside for some questions it won't take to long."The blonde said calmy Athena didn't want to go but it was like her feet was pulling her to walk to the door."Yeah....sure." Athena said looking at val one more time before going out the door the cop stepped into an ally way where no one could see them talk."This is a really big offer I'm about to give you athena and you can back out of it any time you want to no bullshit, okay?" Brian said as Athena watched him talk that was watch she did was she was nervous she could never keep eye contact unless she was scarred "Yeah just tell me the offer I have hair to do and clients to see."Athena said it could of come off rude but brian didn't seem to care "Okay their a group that has been stealing from trucks and I know its street racers they are in and out quick so I want you to look at any thing supseias at the race people leaving early looking weird before they leave all that."Brian said  as athena seemed to zone off into another world for a minute "Yeah I'll do it."Athena had just gotten out of jail for the same thing she was on probation for car theft and ADW she wouldn't tell anyone about she wanted people to forget "One problem I'm on probation."Athena said looking at the blond "If you accept this offer your not."Brian said chuckling a bit "Okay then I'm in for it."Athena said she just wanted to be off of probation she didn't have anything to say her done she could have her old life back again at the hair salon."Okay come to this address and I'll see you tomorrow."Brian said handing her a piece of paper as he walked to his car."What time?"Athena said before he got into his car "What?"Brian said with a confused look on his face "What time do you want me to be their tomorrow?"Athena said squirting her eyes at the sun "Oh 12:00 am not a minute later".Brian said getting into his car and driving off Athena went back into the salon not questioning the time or anything."What was that about?"Val said as Athena walked into the door and went back to her station."Nothing you need to worry about."Athena said before continuing to do her client's hair like nothing had happened.
